Lagos Nigeria

Sarah’s POV

As soon as I got to the cottage..the gates were already opened..I thought I would see my uncle’s car parked some where but I didn’t find anything..I curiously walked in the mini living room.

”uncle..uncle adams..?”i called twice..but no answer..I think I should just go home..I can’t stay here alone for much long..and why did he even tell me to come if he’s not here..with that annoyance I turned to leave but was stunned when I saw the person right in front of me…..

Tina’s POV

”no answer..oh my love.. where could she be?”i say to Thomas..

”everybody calm down..let’s call anny.. maybe she might be with Anita..”Uncle Adams suggests.

”yes..but I don’t ve her number..”i say

”i’ll call her..”larry says as he dials Anita’s number..oh I just pray she’s with Anita..I say in my thoughts.

”hey anny..is Sarah there with you..?”I heard Larry say..

He put the call on speaker so we could all listen to Anita.

”no..Sarah isn’t with me.. what’s wrong..is everything alright..?”Anny asked.

”its fine but if you get a call from Sarah..please inform us..”Larry says hanging up immediately.

”no..my Goodness..where could she be now..?”i say almost breaking down in tears.

”my love..calm down..Sarah hasn’t disappeared like this before.. I’m sure she’ll turn up in the morning..”Thomas my husband tries consoling me but it’s not working..I need to know where my little girl is..all alone in the dark..

”no..we need to talk to the guards right now..they must have seen Sarah..after all that’s why I paid them..to make sure everyone is safe..I need to talk to them..”i insist.

”really.. Tina it’s late already..we can’t conclude on anything till tomorrow..”Thomas says.

”wait..I’m not gonna sit here and wait..my daughter might..might be in some kind of danger..please let’s just ask the bodyguards..”i say

”i think you should listen to your husband Tina..you need to get some rest.. you’ve been working since morning..”Mary adds.

”yes..I agree with Thomas..see..I know Sarah.. she’s a good girl and I’m sure she’ll turn up..”Uncle Adams says.

”well I pray so.. because if anything were to happen to my little girl..I’ll die..I swear it..”i say rushing up to Sarah’s room.

Adam’s POV

Where the hell could Sarah be..it was all I thought about through out the night..I’m so worried and if I show too much concern..it isn’t gonna be good..I sit on the bed deep in my thoughts when Mary walked in dressed in a night wear..all dolled and sexy.

”my love.. you’ve been like this for hours now..let’s see..I might have something to put you in the mood..”Mary says taking off her bras..as she crawled to my side on the bed caressing my back.

”stop Mary..stop..”

”you want me to stop..oh come on..quit being a boring husband..it’s been so long since we made love..”Mary says.

”love..sex..is all you care about now..oh quit being so ridiculous..my niece is no where to be found and you expect me to be in a good mood..?”I say in a low tone

”why so worried..after all Sarah is a grown girl..she can take care of herself..and her disappearance won’t stop us from loving eachother..”Mary says.

”all I know is am not in the mood for this..and if you try coming any close to me..I’ll just leave the room for you..”i say laying on the bed..

Mary’s POV

I can’t believe my husband will treat me like this all because of his dear niece.. where on earth has that stupid Sarah disappeared to..all she wants is to be the centre of attention of everything..all I know is wherever she might be..I hope she rots in there for good spoilt brat.

Larry’s POV

I feel so guilty for leaving Sarah alone..now I’m so worried..I can’t even tell my parents I was the last person who saw Sarah..I shouldn’t ve left her all by herself..now she’s gone..to who knows where..I’m so scared right now and I pray she isn’t in any kind of danger….

Desi’s POV

”sarah didn’t turn up..?”i asked my mother.

”yeah..everyone is worried sick about her..”My mom says.

”the last time I saw her..I saw her with her cousin..uhm..Larry..”i say.

”really..but he showed up and she’s no where to be found..at least until tomorrow..”my mom says.

”oh mom..you wouldn’t believe what I saw.. it’s so bad..”i say still picturing Larry and Sarah kisses.

”what..?”

”i saw Larry and Sarah kissing..”i say.

”no..no..you can’t be serious..”

”i am mom.. I didn’t believe it myself..too”I say

”but..but they’re cousins..and..oh my..if the bosses finds out.. they’ll..”i immediately cut in.

”no..no..no one must find out mom..I only told you because I trust you..please don’t tell anyone..at least not yet..”

Where’s Sarah..I hope she’s safe..if only I spoke to her when she needed me to..none of this would be happening..it’s my fault..I stayed angry at her and now she’s missing….

THE FOLLOWING MORNING

Sarah’s POV

I wake up with cold water splashed all over my body as I opened my eyes..my clothes..where are they..I was shocked to see my self naked..my hands tied around the bed as I screamed.

”whos there..someone help..get me out of here..”i struggled..the pain in my head is much worse than I thought this morning..last night I felt I was hit my someone..and this morning I’m all tied up..I heard the person footsteps as the person switched on the light..it’s a tall man covered in masks.

”the princess is finally awake..my dearest Sarah..”The person says

”who..who are you..who are you and how do you even know my name..?”i asked.

”oh sweetheart..I know everything about you darling..anyways..now isn’t the time for introductions though..”The man said..

”why are you keeping me here..please get me out of here..please I beg you..see my father is a billionaire.. he’ll give you anything you want..just release me please..”i begged.

”oh..I guess the boss was right about you.. you’re nothing but a talkative..just shut up and quit asking questions..”He yelled at me

”please..please I beg you..please get me out of here..”i say as he just switched off the lights leaving me in the room.

I need to get out of here..I have to..my parents would be so worried about me.

Tina’s POV

I couldn’t sleep last night as I wake up finding myself in my room with my husband..Sarah must be home now..I’m sure of it..I felt a pain in my chest when I entered Sarah’s room and she isn’t there..tears rolls down my cheeks as I informed all the bouncers of last night to come at my place…

”good morning mame..here this would help..”Ono says giving me a cup of coffee as I walked into the kitchen.

”ono thank you but I can’t drink this..I’m not in the mood..all I want is to see my daughter..”i say as Desi interrupts

”good morning madame..”he greeted.

”hey desi..Desi..you’re a good friend of my daughter..do you perhaps know where she might be..?”i asked him.

”no..no.. mame..I’m sorry..I want to inform you that the bouncers have just arrived and there waiting for you at the lounge..”Desi says

”thank you..if you’ll excuse me..”i say leaving the kitchen as I made my way straight to the lounge..I was surprised to see my husband there..with his looks I can tell he didn’t sleep well too..

”i want you guys to tell me why I paid you when you couldn’t even do a small job..?”thomas yelled at the three hefty guys.

”my daughter is no where to be found..all I ask is if any of you guys ve seen her..?”i say..as one of the guys replies

”uh..I think I saw her..”the guy says.

”where..speak up..?”i yelled at him.

”yes..I saw her with a guy she called her boyfriend..”The guy whose name is Leo says.

”boyfriend..but..my daughter.. doesn’t have any boyfriend..are you sure if she’s the one you saw..?”

”i’m positive..”leo says as I tell them to excuse us for a while.

”i think we should go report this to the cops..”I say.

”they’ll only start an operation when it’s twenty four hours..my love..our daughter is gonna show up..I’m not gonna let anything happen to her..”thomas says..

”with our hands folded..I’m calling the commissioner of police right now..my daughter must turn up..”i say dialing his number but no answer.

”see.. Tina..I need you to relax a bit..I think you’re overdoing things..”

”you call me worried about my daughter..or would I say our daughter overdoing..are you serious right now or what..if you’re not gonna do anything about this before it gets out of hand..I will..”i say as I stormed out of the lounge…

Hilton’s High School

Larry’s POV

”she hasn’t turned up anny..I’m so worried right now..”i say..I didn’t want to come to school but my mom being the annoying one forced I and Lizzie and now everyone can’t stop asking of Sarah..

”where could she be.. Sarah’s never acted like this and to top it all she isn’t picking her calls..numbers switched off..”Anny says

”i pray she turns up because I don’t think I can bear a day without seeing her..”I say….

Tina’s POV

I barged into the office of Mr Mathew the commissioner of police department..as he stared at me with surprise.

”long time no see Tina..”he says..looking at me in a weird way..I know..I look like a mess..I didn’t even shower before leaving house..my daughter needs me..I need to do something quickly.

”mathew..I beg you..my daughter is no where to be found since last night..I need your help..”I say.

”okay..please calm down..take a deep breathe..”he says walking towards my side.

”i can’t calm down..I can’t..you have to do something to help me..look for her..please..send all your units to find my baby girl..”i say.

”when did you say she disappear?”he asked grabbing a book and a pen.

”last night..”

”we have to wait till twenty four hours before we file a missing person’s report..”he says.

”oh.. seriously now..Mathew..24 hours might be too late..please..and pleas..e..do something about this..”

Just then A good looking matured man obviously a bit older than I am walked in with another lady dressed in black jeans and shirt..

”thank goodness you guys are here..martins ”mathew says..

”we came to give you feedback on the cartels..here..”the man says dropping a paper on the table.

”okay..cartels and other things can wait..my friend here..her daughter is no where to be found..”he says.

”please..help me find my girl..”i say to the both of them whom I assume they’re cops.

”dont worry we gonna find her.. since when has she been missing..?”The lady asked

”last night..please no more questions..I just want you guys to find my daughter..”i say.

”im afraid we can’t until it’s 24 hours mame..”the lady says.

”really..24 hours.. isn’t that way too long..my daughter is missing..you don’t know how it feels for my baby to disappear on her birthday..she’s just eighteen years old girl who doesn’t know anything about life and you guys can’t do anything until something goes wrong..?”i say.

”eighteen..that’s a rebellious..age..I think we should start investigating..we can’t wait for much longer..”Martins the matured man stated.

”hmm..okay..go ahead..”mathew says.

”we’ll have to start from your home..we want every information about your daughter..what’s her name please?”

”sarah..”

Sarah’s POV

After staying all tied up for so long..the man walked in again switching on the lights as he throws a bottle of water and sandwiches next to me.

”time to eat..”the man says as he slowly unties my hands.

”why are you keeping me hostage..?”i say.

”you’ll find out soon little girl..now eat up..or your death might be very much easy dying of hunger..”he says.

Now that my hands are untied I need to get out of here..I have to..but how do it though..

”eat up..”the man says sitting next to me.

”i’m not hungry..”i say smiling.. even with the mask on..I’m sure he must be wondering while I’m smiling.

”thats your problem..”he says..as he wants to leave I hold him back.

”what..is it?”he asked..

”actually I am hungry..hungry for you baby.. you look so hot..why do you have to wear this mask..?”I whined.

”uhmm..uh..”he stammers as I caress his thighs.

”i can give you everything.. even my body..just let me go..and you’ll have me..”i say kissing his hands as I moved closer to him rubbing his neck..

”really..?”he asked..

”yes..”i answered placing my hands in the belt of his trousers.

”we..ll..I’m sorry miss little tramp..your charm can’t work for me..game over..”he says as she pushed me hard on the bed..he immediately grabs the rope as he wants to tie me back on the bed..I jumped off the bed reaching out for the room door but it’s locked..I hit it harder screaming for help before he catches up to me.

”scream all you want..nobody is gonna save you..you spoilt little thing..”he says pointing a gun straight at me…

Adam’s POV

”her disappearance affected you that much that you can’t even greet me..this morning?”mary starts another day with her annoying voice.

”goodmorning..happy now..?”i say standing up from the bed.

We already came back home and i slept off because I couldn’t sleep last night..I think I know where she might be..what if she’s at our new house..as I was about to leave the room.. Mary interrupts.

”where are you going?”she asked.

”just to check on pupils in the school..”i lied as I exit the room..I saw on phone on top the dining table..i forgot it at home last night..I scrolled through and I saw missed calls from Sarah..oh my..she has been calling since last night..this is not good..

Tina’s POV

”i need a picture of your daughter.. please..”martins says as we entered his office.

”yeah..sure..”i say showing him the picture of Sarah in my phone.

”good..you said she’s.. eighteen right..?”he asked

”yes..”

He writes down on a note before asking.

”hair color.. height..and weight..”he asked.

”she was wearing a wine wig..my daughter is an average young girl..and she’s very curvy and a bit tall..”i say.

”what was she wearing?”martin asked.

”red stripes gown..”i say.

”did she perhaps had any accessory on”

”yeah..she wore a piece of silver necklace..”i say.

”does she have any scar or tattoos..?”

”no..my daughter is a very decent young lady..”i say.

”you are her mother..and you must know the type of places she likes to go..like you should know where she might ve gone..her favorite place.. maybe at the park..or something..?”He asked.

”no..I don’t know any..Sarah is always indoors..she only goes out when it’s school time and come back home right on time..the only place she goes to is her cousin’s..”

”okay..did she take any car or bicycle along..?”he asked

”no..no..enough questions..”

”do you have any friends or relatives that I can ask few questions..?”martin says.

”yes..”

”i’m sorry but it’s my job to get all the information I need about your daughter..you say she’s a good girl..now no good girl would disappear in the middle of the night like that without even informing anyone..do you know if your daughter is in some kind of relationship…?”

”seriously..I’m fed up with all these questions..just find my daughter..”.

”just answer me..was your daughter in any kind of relationship?”

”how am I suppose to know that?”

”because it’s your duty as a mother..tell me..what was Sarah’s academic like.?”he asked.

”my baby girl is always making us proud..she gets A in all her subjects and very smart and popular too..”i say.

”did..did you say popular..do you ve any idea of her social media handles?”

Now I think I failed as a mother because I don’t even know anything about that……
