Mary’s POV

Since Larry decided to disappear from the graduation party to who knows where..I think i should go see Sarah then..even though it’s late I don’t mind..it’s been six months of holding her hostage and soon..very soon I’ll get rid of her..I ride straight to the streets of the warehouse suddenly my car stopped in the middle of the road..

Martin’s POV

”she..she stopped..she stopped at Elias area street..what if she found out we put a tracker on her car though?”Marcia questioned.

”i don’t think so..”i say staring at the big screen..

”then why did she stop the car though..or maybe that’s the area in which Sarah’s been held hostage..?”Marcia asked.

”if it doesn’t move for ten minutes then that’s the place..”i say to Marcia concentrating.

Mary’s POV

Have had enough of one day and to top it all my car decided to stop working this night..I get down angrily out of the car as I bent down to check if I can fix anything but I couldn’t..I instantly dialed Jose number..he’s my right hand man and I’m sure he might know what’s going on..I called him twice but it says line was busy..I kept on calling though..

Sarah’s POV

”sarah..!”the voice of my mother alone melted my heart like never before.

”mummy….!”I say over the phone.

”sarah..where are you..please tell me.. where are you?”my mom asked..I was going to answer her questions when Jose dragged the phone from my hand immediately hanging up.

”time up..”jose says as I frowned at him.

”you didn’t even let me speak..?”i yelled at him.

”you better watch how you speak to me Sarah..at least your mother heard your voice..she now knows you’re fine..”jose replied.

”thats not enough..”i say..

”oh..what were you about to do.. you wanted to tell your mother the location right.. you know if they find you I’ll get arrested..”jose says staring at his phone.

”you can’t escape it..you signed up for this kind of business..and you’re not getting out of it without facing the consequences..”i replied but he ignores me locking the warehouse door before leaving.

Damn…I miss my parents so much..oh God..when are you gonna get me out of here?

Tina’s POV

”thomas..Thomas she’s alive..Thomas she’s alive..”i say excitedly tapping my husband to wake up from his sleep.

He gradually opens his eyes as he sits on the bed showing a disturbed frowned face.

”who?”he asked..

”our daughter..our daughter is alive..I can’t believe it..I just..I just spoke to her.. she’s been the one calling me the whole time..”i replied .

”really..did she tell you where she was..?”he asked..

”uhm..no..but I know it was Sarah..she’s alive..our baby is alive..”i say again..I can’t hide the joy I’m feeling right now.

”we need to talk to the cops..maybe they can trace the call or something.”i say to my husband who’s half sleeping already.

”no.not tonight my love..it’s late already..”thomas says laying back on the bed.

” okay then..first thing tomorrow morning I’ll be on my way to the station..”i say as I watched Thomas sleep off……

I thought of calling the number back but I don’t know if that might endanger Sarah..I think I should just leave everything till dawn.

Mary’s POV

”i called you twice..what happened..why weren’t you picking?”i shouted at Jose the minute I saw him.

”i..i..was asleep boss..I didn’t know you were calling..”he replies bowing down his head.

”asleep..you were asleep when you’re supposed to watch sarah..this should be the last time I call and you ignore it..anyways check my car..I don’t know what’s wrong with it..”i tell Jose as he immediately checked the boots for some tools..to fix the car.

I watched how he tries checking the cars problem until he stands up looking very tensed.

”what..what is the matter..?”i asked him.

”boss..look what I found..”jose says showing me a tiny devices.

”yeah..what..isn’t it part of the car?”i questioned nervously.

”no boss..”he answered.

”then what is it..tell me already”i yelled at him.

”boss..this thing right here is a GPS tracker..it is used to know the location of someone… someone put this stuff here just to know your whereabouts..”Jose replies.

”but.. but who could that be..as far as I know no one would dare touch my car in my presence..”i say finding the situation weird.

”then they did it without you knowing..are the cops suspecting you already?”jose asked.

”well..yes..”i say as Jose eyes widened.

”then they must be the ones who did this..”jose replied.

”damm..that means they might already have a hint of where I’m keeping Sarah..I want you to change Sarah’s location tonight before the cops start raiding the area……

Sarah’s POV

”where..are you taking me to..?”i asked Jose as he unties the ropes in my hands.

”shh..!!”jose says.

”tell me..where are you taking me to..?”i asked as two other guards walked in to the warehouse.

Before I could ask any other question I felt something hit me at the back of my head as every where went pitched black.

Martin’s POV

I and Marcia immediately inform all the cops in the area to stop any car they see and check it up as well..We both went straight to the street in the cop van..hoping we would at least find something..After thirty minutes drive from the station we got to the street.

”you guys surround the area..I want you to check every nook and cranny..in this damn street..marcia follow me..”i ordered the rest of the cops as we started searching…

Even though it was almost midnight the street lights made it looked like the early mornings..I and Marcia searched different corners as we saw traces of a car on the road…

”some one was here..”i say to Marcia

”that means Mary was passing the road..”

We checked every building in the area..the area mostly had uncompleted buildings so I and Marcia looked everywhere..apart from one of the building which was locked..I immediately fired the door with my gun as I barged into the warehouse with Marcia behind me.

”search everywhere..”i say hoping I’ll find at least something to prove someone was in the building.

Jose’s PoV

”damn..the cops are all over everywhere..how are we gonna get out of this mess..?”i asked the other two guys as we watched how the police men checked people’s truck..and cars.

”by giving them tips..trust me..these bastards only want food on their table..”one of the other guys says.

If it were up to me..I would have just let Sarah escape but I couldn’t do it all because Mary had to send two men to join me take Sarah to another hide out.

When it got to our turn one of the guys insist he would answer every questions the cops asked….I watched how the guy talked to one of the police man as one of my guy dipped some money in the cop man pocket…

”we’re good..let’s go..”the guy says hitting the road again…..

The Following Morning

Mary’s POV

I couldn’t sleep well last night and all I thought about was Sarah..I waked up earlier calling Jose on phone..I want to know if the cops didn’t catch any of them.

”how was it..did anything happen?”i asked Jose.

”no..not at all..we gave them so tips to let us pass..it’s all good mame..”jose says.

”well done..I’ll call you later..bye..”i hanged up as I get up from my bed..the house feels so lonely without my husband..I know he wasn’t the perfect man but at least I enjoyed his company..I walked up to Larry’s bedroom but I didn’t find him there..Lizzie was still asleep so I did not bother to wake her up..I take my bathe getting ready to go to Tina’s house..I don’t want my son there..not until Thomas tell those police men to let my husband go…I don’t want to have anything to do with them.

Martin’s POV

Last night was an epic failure..the GPS was of no use to us..the only person who can lead us in this case is Adams but he doesn’t want to speak up….

Tina’s POV

”where are you going so early..?”my husband asked as he joined me in the living room.

”to the station my love..”i say as Larry comes downstairs.

”larry..I think you should get going..your mom might be worried about you..”I say to Larry.

”its no problem.. auntie..I’ll take a shower and leave soon..”larry replied as I heard someone’s yelling before making it to the living room..We all turned and saw Mary standing in front of us.

”larry..Larry..where’s my son..?”she asked..

”he..is..”before I could finish my statement..she already dragged him behind me..

”son..why are you here.. what is wrong with you..have been looking for you everywhere..?”mary says to Larry.

”i..I was here..I’m sorry I had you worried..”larry says to his mother.

”it isn’t Larry’s fault..It was very late so I told him to spend the night here..”i say to mary.

”we do not need your sympathy you know..we don’t want anything from you..I and my son can take care of ourselves..”Mary blasted me which was a very unusual behavior of hers.

”i’m sorry you looked at it that way..we are still family you know..”thomas says.

”family..what do you know about family..?you know absolutely nothing about family because if you had any slightest idea of what a family is you won’t have your own blood brother locked up in that cell..”mary yelled at both of us.

”that lies in the hands of the law..I can’t do anything about that..”my husband fired back.

”oh..you can’t..please give me a break..haven’t we suffered enough already.. remember you two caused all these yourselves..where were you when Sarah needed someone to go for her PTA meetings..where were you two when Sarah needed someone to talk to..where were you when you leave Sarah all by herself..ugh..my husband was there for her when she needed someone and now you are blaming him for a crime I’m sure was caused by your insignificant daughter..”Mary says as I immediately slapped her hard on her face .

”not another word about my daughter Mary and firstly you should not raise your voice in my house.. secondly..I know we weren’t that of a good parent but we loved our daughter..and there’s no justification for what your husband has done to my daughter..he was the adult in this issue..he should have done something about it..but what did he do..he choose to sleep with his own niece who knows nothing about life..Sarah was just a miner..a naive little girl so don’t you dare come here and teach me how to take care of my daughter when you weren’t even capable of controlling your husband and your son…”i say.

”but he is still your blood brother”Mary replies facing Thomas.

”and so..he should have thought about that before messing up with my own daughter..there are plenty of women he could screw..why does it have to be my own daughter Mary..or would you like it if I start screwing Lizzie up..give me a break..what were you expecting..because he is my brother I should start applauding him for all the damage he caused.. because of him Sarah is no where to be found today..and I’m sorry you expected more from me but I’ll tell you I don’t ve the final say..the cops are the law here and no body is above the law..”Thomas says to Mary..she rolled her eyes and I could see the hate inside of her..I could feel it already as I watched her leave with Larry.

”she was right..she was right..we ruined Sarah’s life..we didn’t take care of her..”i say to my husband crying as he hugged me tightly.

”its okay.. everything is going to be fine..”he says pecking me on my head.

{The Police Station}

Martin’s POV

”miss Badmus..what a surprise..to have you here..”I say as I watched Tina walked into my office.

”uhm…I came to tell you something..that happened last night..”Tina says looking very disturbed.

”go on..”i say to her.

”well..the thing is my daughter called..”Tina reveals.

”what..Sarah called you..?”I asked just to be sure.

”yes..yes..she called me last night..I didn’t know it was her calling at first until I finally picked up..it was my daughter..commander..my daughter is alive..”

”are you sure it was Sarah’s voice you heard..?”i asked again.

”yeah..I’m certain..I saved the number..incase I don’t know if we could do something about it..”tina says.

”only if she calls again..then we can be able to trace the number..for now there isn’t much we can do..”i say to Tina.

”so you still haven’t found anything yet..?”she asked.

”we have a suspect but we can’t tell you about that..it’s for your own safety..”i tell Tina..After we were done with our conversation..I went to visit Adams in the cell.

Sarah’s POV

I wake up with a pain in my head..as I noticed blood dripping from my nose..I feel so weak and helpless..the room was dark until I heard a footstep…the lights were switched on and it was Jose.

”you..you..don’t get tired of changing location right?”i asked Jose

”sarah you know it isn’t on me..the boss does all these..and I wanted to let you escape last night..but..”he paused as I continued..

”but you didn’t have the balls to..you’re so scared of my aunt and don’t you even tell me you care for me because I don’t believe you..”i say to Jose.

Adam’s POV

”your wife is still the main suspect adams..I just want you to tell me..tell me the truth..is Mary behind Sarah’s kidnapping..”Martins asked me for what feels like a thousand time.

”hm..mm..”i sigh.

”sarah has been missing for the past six months..if you truly cared about her..you would spill the beans..whether you talk or not Mary’s already our number one suspect..I just want to hear from you..I have sent Marcia and some cops to check your house and also to follow Mary anywhere she goes..all I need is your statements..is your wife the kidnapper..??”

”hm..yes..yes..yes..it’s Mary..it’s all Mary..!!”i finally say to martin’s.

Mary’s POV

As soon as I got down of the car I sighted a police van in the front gates of my house..Larry and I stares at eachother surprised as we both entered the compound…I saw the cops already inside of my house as Lizzie sights me..

”li..li..what are they doing here..those bastards..”i say to Lizzie as I entered the living room furiously…I saw other unfamiliar cops and Marcia instructing them.

”how dare you break into my house like some thieves?”i say at the top of my voice as Marcia shows me a search warrant.

”we didn’t break into your house..your daughter let us in..and we have a warrant from the judge..”Marcia says.

”oh perfect..you guys can’t just let me be already..putting a tracker on my car wasn’t enough..you had to come here and turn my house upside down..?”i say to Marcia..

”just calm down mame..it’s not a big deal..unless you’re hiding something..tell me why are you so nervous if there’s nothing to hide..you wouldn’t be trembling…..
