Martin’s POV

I drove along side the road Mary was taking..I need to get to the bottom of all these once and for all..I cant stand it anymore..this case has really affected me in so many ways.

Mary’s POV

Useless man..liar..cheat..bastard..I cursed Adams in my thoughts as I high the speed of my car..what I don’t understand is why the cops let him come see the children..why will they allow that..I hope he hasn’t given them any information about me because if he did..then I’ll never forgive him..I sipped the can of liquor with my eyes fixed on the road..I don’t know where I’m driving to..all I want is to get out of this terrible nightmare..once my life was so perfect..with my beautiful family but everything..everything that have built for my marriage went in vain and it’s all because of Sarah..Sarah caused it all..I check the window to see a black car which has been following my route..I instantly became suspicious..I would have gone straight to get rid of Sarah tonight and not even wait till tomorrow..but I had to drop by at a hotel to mislead who ever was following my car..I ended up spending the night at a hotel..

Martin’s POV

”what makes you think you can catch Mary like that so easily..she’s so smart..she knows that the cops are watching her every movements..”Adams says calmly…as I cuffed his hands back.

There was no point in following Mary.. she went to a hotel or bar something like that..I know I’ll find the truth..

Adam’s turned to his children Larry and Lizzie as he greets them goodbye.

”you guys please take care of yourselves..and if you see any strange behavior in your mother.. don’t..don’t hesitate in calling the cops..”Adams says to Larry and Liz.

”sure dad..”Larry replies as Liz tiptoed in other to wrap around her father’s neck.

”love you daddy..”lizzie says before I exited with Adams.

Larry’s POV

”so..what do you want for dinner?”I asked Liz as she just stared at me without saying anything.

”li..I’m talking to you..”i say as she wraps her hands around my waists crying.

”hey..li..why are you..oh..I know..you miss dad..I promise you everything is going to be just fine soon..”i say to my baby sister.

”when will I ever see Sarah again..?”she asked..which I wasn’t even expecting.

”soon..all we got to do now is pray that she’s alright wherever she might be..come..let’s pray..”I suggest..even though I never tried this regularly I have to..The way things are going on..it’s really affecting my baby sister..I don’t want her to live in this lie..first Sarah..then my dad..now my mom is acting very weird….

Tina’s POV

”its so good to have you back..Desi..”i say to him as he walked into the lounge with his mother Ono.

Desi travelled to spend sometimes with his cousins in the village and I’m glad he is back here with us.

”yes..I really missed you all.. really mame.. especially Sarah..”he say biting his lower lips.

”hm..don’t even mention..it’s been so tough for all of us..”i say to Desi.

”yeah..it’s so hard but we are here to pass through difficult times with you madame..we are here for you anytime..anywhere..”desi says.

”yes..my son is right..we are here to support you..”Ono adds.

”thank you..thank you guys..really..I don’t know if I would have survived without your mother’s concerns..from here on now..you guys are part of this family..I want you both to sit with me in the dining room starting from today..”I declared as we all hugged eachother.

Sarah’s POV

I couldn’t sleep at all..all I thought of was how I’ll be able to get out of this place..I don’t know anywhere in this damn building..not alone the street..I’m so scared and the time to face my fears finally came when Jose walked into the incomplete building.

”sarah..it’s time..”Jose says as he uses a knife to cut off the ropes.

”oh..my..hands..”i say even though I feel weak right now..I can’t wait for him to just untie my legs..it’s been six months since my hands were free like this.

Jose untied the ropes on my legs as he surprised me with a peck on my forehead.

”lets get out of here..”he says pecking me on my head..we both stand up as we walked out of the room in the incomplete building..climbing the bricks stairs silently..the rest of the guards were asleep and Jose has the keys to the gates.

”i’m so..scared..”i say.

”shh..”Jose shush me as he tries unlocking the gate of the building… immediately the gates were opened I felt something wrapped my neck tightly..Jose didn’t notice until he turned to look at me..he was also shocked like i was and I’m certain it’s Marcos..I could already perceive the strong scent of alcoholic drink through his disgusting lips.

”where the hell you’re taking the pretty lady to..?”Marcos says pointing a gun straight to my head.

”hey..relax..the boss ordered me to kill her tonight.. so I’m taking her to where I’ll eliminate her finally..”Jose lies..

”oh..really then why don’t we just kill her here..no need to take her else where..you liar..who do you think will believe your foolish lies..?”Marcos asked..as he tightened my neck making me almost breathless.

”just let go off her..”Jose says.

”no..buddy..you wanted to betray the boss..I knew a day would come like this you bastard..the boss is gonna hear about this..”Marcos threatened..

”do you think I want to betray the boss..listen to yourself..I want to kill Sarah..”jose says pointing a gun at me as Marcos slowly released his grip…from my neck.

”really buddy..I thought you..were gonna let her esc..”Before Marcos finished his statement..Jose attacked him punching Marcos on his stomach..I stood there terrified..not knowing what to do.

”go..go..Sarah..run..run..Sarah..”jose says as he beats Marcos..Jose gun slipped from his hands..

”no..no..”i say crying as I stared at both of them fighting almost getting bloody..Marcos quickly picked Jose gun as he fired Jose at his legs..I watched how Jose instead of groaning in pains..he yelled at me to run..I have to go..but I’m so hurt..that Jose sacrificed his self for me..with the little strength left in my weak paled body..I took to my heels..I ran as I heard the gun shots Marcos was firing but I didn’t look back..I just continued running….

Lex Hotels

Room 452

Mary’s POV

”ugghhh..Fuck…make me yours baby..ugh..”i yelled at the random man I just met as I give him the cow girl style..I don’t fuckin care if I’m married or not..if Adams can’t cheat on me with his niece..then I can have any man I want too..he grabs my behind as I thrust in and out of his d*xck..it’s been so long have felt this way..I was enjoying this thing inside of me until my phone interrupted it all.

”dont..don’t pick..”the man says breathing heavily as I whined on his d*ck..I kissed his lips softly before crawling to the other side of the bed to get my phone on top the drawer..it’s Marcos..why the hell is he disturbing me these late…I angrily picked the call..

”what the hell do you want now Marcos..I told you I’ll finish her up tomorrow..”I yelled at Marcos.

“Boss..boss..boss she..she..she..”Marcos says stammering

”what..what happened..?”i asked

”she..escaped ..Sarah escaped boss..”He says..damn..

”what the f*ck..how come.. how..didn’t I tell you to watch that stupid guy Jose well..I can’t believe this..where do you think she might be..I’m around..the streets..”i say to Marcos.

“I’m sure she hasn’t gone far..”marcos replies.

”yeah..don’t worry Marcos..I’ll get her..Sarah.. isn’t a street girl.. she’s just a rich spoilt brat..she doesn’t know anything about the streets.. gather all the guys..and I want you guys to find her for me..if I get there and I don’t see Sarah get ready to die instead..”i threatened as I flinged my phone on the bed.

”baby..what’s it..”the stranger whose name I don’t even know asked..

”none of your business.. now shut your mouth.. infact..here you go..”i say flinging some bundle of cash on the bed.

”now get out of my room…out you fool..”i yelled at the man flinging his boxers and shirt along with him.

Damn….Sarah can’t escape..she has to die..she has to..I say to myself trying to calm down at least..I annoyingly dressed up as I made my way back home to arouse any suspicion from the cops or my children..

Larry’s POV

My mom barged into the house looking very tensed as she flinged her bag on the table.. Lizzie was already asleep..I was the only one awake watching movies in my laptop…

”hey mom..”i greeted.

”what are you doing still up..aren’t you supposed to be in bed by now..?”she asked.

“I was only waiting for you to get home first..”i say to my mother who only frowned at me.

”since when do you care about my whereabout..?”she asked.

”mom..I care..I do care for you..and to be honest..you look really..strange this days..please take it easy..with yourself..”i say standing up from the couch like I ain’t suspecting her weird behavior.

”what if I do something..something really terrible son..will you stand by me always..ugh..?”My mom asked me

”i know you’ll never do anything wrong mom..and even if..I’ll always be here for you.. tell me..is there’s something wrong?”i asked hoping to hear anything.

”its nothing..son..”my mom answered as I hugged her before going to my room upstairs….

Tina’s POV

”mummy..come with me..”my baby girl Sarah says holding my hands.

”sarah..where are you taking me to..?”i asked as she smiled at me.

”oh my sweet heart..where is this place..?”i asked as my little Sarah’s happy face turned into a sad face as tears rolled down her cheeks..

”why..why are you crying..Sarah..?”i asked as I saw another grown up Sarah dressed in her birthday clothe..

”thats you..I know..”i say to my little Sarah as suddenly from no where gun shots were fired at my big Sarah..

”no.no..no!!!!!!Sarah!!!!”i yelled gradually opening my eyes as I turned to see Thomas beside me.

”my love..it..it was just a nightmare..please..relax..”my husband says.

”no..no..no..not my baby..not my Sarah..no..”i cried as I leaned on Thomas shoulder.

”its okay..it’s okay..”

”sarah..my Sarah..”i cried out..through out the night I tried to sleep it off but it didn’t work..the dreams just kept on flashing in my memory.

The Following Morning

Sarah’s POV

The streets of the area is very quiet..I do not know where I am..I have trekked down the road without seeing any body for help..I even prayed for the first time to God to send me a helper..I couldn’t do it any more…but I know have at least gone far from the warehouse…I need a phone to call..I try to think of a nearby place to rest..I haven’t sleep through out the night and I’m so tired…

Mary’s POV

Before anyone of my children would wake up I left house very early in the morning carrying a gun inside my purse..I just wanted to get rid of Sarah as soon as possible..

Larry’s POV

What martin’s told me about being watchful on my mother didn’t let me sleep much last night..I woke up early as I saw my mom leaving the house without her even knowing..I wonder where the hell she’s going to so early in the morning..I immediately texted martin’s to follow up with my mother because as each day goes by I have noticed something’s about my mom that doesn’t add up at all..

Sarah’s POV

Even with my exhausted body..I continued moving..I don’t want to give up..not at this time when I’m already free..oh poor Jose..I wonder what he might be passing through right now all because of me..it’s my fault..it’s all my fault.. sometimes I think I’m jinxed.. I’m always getting the people who are there for me into so much trouble..I feel guilty for leaving him there..I just hope they don’t hurt Jose..yeah he might have treated me badly in the past six months but he is human..and I don’t want to see any human being to go through the pains I went through.

I already lost hope in ever getting a ride down town..until a light appeared from afar..I walked straight down closer to the light as I sighted a car coming forward..at last God’s finally answering my prayers I say to my self waving to the oncoming vehicle.

I moved a bit closer to the road side hoping the car would stop.. luckily for me it did..it stopped but the driver hasn’t wined down yet.

”please…please I need help..please I need you to help me..”i say to who ever the person is in the car..but no answer..as soon as the car door opens I saw the leg of the person.. it’s a lady..as I traced with my eyes from the leg to see who it was….I was shocked…it is..it’s..aunt Mary..I say as she looked at me disgustingly.

”you can never run away from me..sweetheart..we meet again..”She says pointing a gun at my head..but this time I’m gonna fight..I’m not gonna let this happen again…I take her by surprise pushing the gun from my head running as fast as I can..I hit my leg in a broken bottle as blood spill from my foot..

She didn’t stop..my aunt ran after me firing gunshots in the air..I kept on running even with the pains as every step I make I flinged a piece of my clothe on the floor incase any one might want to help..oh Lord give me the strength..I say to encourage my self..she kept on shooting not caring at all..

”sarah..my little niece.. come to aunty you stupid girl..”My aunt yelled still firing gunshots..it’s a miracle none hit me..I kept on running thinking my aunt would get tired of it all but no..I don’t think she’s backing out.

”help..help me..help me..I need help..”i screamed but there was no one out there..I cried and shouted but no one came to my aid..I run till I ended up near a cliff…. there was no way I could escape from it all..I looked down and if I ever jump from this..I will just loose my life..I’m confused..I thought of what to do but there was no time..I turned to see my aunt’s Mary’s wicked grin pointing the gun at me..

”please..please don’t..please don’t kill..me..please I beg.. you..please forgive me..please”i cried..

”forgiveness..never..you crossed the line you filthy tramp..you messed with my marriage and you’re gonna pay..with your life…!”

Martin’s POV

”please..I need you to do something..my daughter..my daughter is in danger..I can feel it..”Tina tells me through my phone.

”i promise we will do everything you want..we are on our way to find Mary..”I say.

”mary..but.. what does she have to do with all of these?”Tina asked.

”i’m sorry I didn’t inform you but Mary has been one of our suspect and even her own son doesn’t trust her..I’ll call you when I get any info..”I say to Tina hanging up immediately…

”i need you all at your best..surround the entire area..”i tell the other cops getting off the car..

”boss…come..”Marcia says as we parole the road which Mary followed.

”there’s a trace..here..can you see the footprints..”Marcia says.

We were busy looking round the surrounding when another black jeep drives forward..I was amazed to see Tina..Thomas.. Larry..and Anita getting off the car.

”what..are you.. doing here..we are in the midst of an operation and we don’t want to endanger your lives..”I say to them..

”i’m sorry but I can go through anything for my daughter”Tina says.

”me too..I want to help..sitting back won’t do us any good..”Thomas adds.

”i..also wanna be here..if it means putting my life at risk for my bestie.. then so be it..”Anny says..

”i gave them the streets name..I couldn’t just stay back and leave it all to the cops..we wanna help..so tell us what we need to do..”Larry says.

I gave each of them bullet proof and a gun to defend themselves..I told to be very careful aiming at the target..

Tina’s POV

”sarah..sarah..”i called out..as everyone did same.

We were all in different sides calling Sarah’s name…I stumbled on something as I looked down to see blood on the floor…

”martins..please come..”I say as martin’s joins I and Thomas..

”blood..blood..it’s blood..oh my god..”i say scared that something bad might have happened.

”lets follow the steps maybe we might see her..dont stop calling her name…”Martins says…

”sarah..!!

”sarah!!!”

Sarah’s POV

”is..it worth it..please I beg you..please don’t kill me…”i say to Mary as I heard my name..

”damn..they are here..how did they get to know this place..I’m sure Jose ratted us out..I’m gonna kill that bastard..”Mary says angrily…

”please..don’t..please..”As she pulled the trigger I already knew there’s nothing I could do..I’m meeting with my creator today..the bullets were fired straight to my chest..

Author’s POV

They all heard a gunshot as Mary yelled at them..

”no..no..it can’t be..Sarah..did you guys hear that..?”she says already feeling defeated..They heard the second shot as martin’s and the rest of the cops runs straight to where it was coming from.

Mary’s POV

I watched Sarah as I smiled evilly at her..die..die you fool..die..for everything you caused me..I shot her again till she finally fell off the cliff…I knew there was no way to escape the minute I heard the police siren…..

Will Sarah survive?

Could this be the end of once bright student Sarah?
