Martin’s POV.

“I and Sarah started seeing eachother recently..at first I thought it wasn’t something serious but gradually I started falling in love with her..crazy right..I’m in love with my own niece..”Mr Adams finally admits.

”its good you’re finally saying the truth…do your wife know about this?”I asked him.

“No..not at all..my wife knows nothing about this and I don’t intend to tell her..she’s not gonna like it one bit..”Adams says.

“Neither would your brother or his wife like it but it’s our duty to inform everyone about it..you started this mess so you just have to face the consequences…but before that..tell me..what’s your wife like?”I questioned.

“As how..what do you mean?”he asked

“I mean to say how is your wife’s behavior like..was she ever suspicious of your relationship..is she a jealous person?”

”uhm..sometimes..my wife doesn’t like it when any other woman comes near me..”Adams says.

“How far do you think your wife can go to make sure no one comes near you..?”I asked

“Wait..what are you insinuating..are you trying to say my wife is the one who kidnapped my niece?”Adams says.

“It might be possible..wait one more question..was your wife Mary at the party before you.. because I recalled you told me you forgot your phone..was your wife at home that particular time?”

“Yes..but she later joined us for the party..”Adams say.

“How an I sure you’re not the one who texted Sarah..?”I asked.

“Because it’s not me..I swear it..I would never hurt my own niece..never!!!”

Thomas’s POV

“Tee..Tina..the cops are here..”I say leaning by the door side.. Tina’s laying on Sarah’s bed staring at one of our family pictures.

”Really..”tina asks immediately dropping the picture as she stands up from the bed.

“Yes.. surprisingly..martin’s came with my brother and larry..they are all here..”I say.

“Yeah..mary came here earlier today to inform me the police took Adam too.. anyways let’s go join them downstairs..”my wife says as we both walked straight to the living room.

Tina’s POV

“Good evening martin’s..hope you’ve come with some good news because I can’t wait any longer..”I say.

“I bet this pathetic cop just want to look for another Badmus to blame in this entire situation..”Mary adds still in a bad mood.

“Well we have something that you all need to hear..it isn’t a good thing but we have to say it..”martin’s replies now making me nervous.

“What’s..what’s it..did something happen to my daughter..please talk to me..”I insists.

“Well the thing is your relatives here Mr Adams Badmus and Larry his son…”martin’s paused.

“What is it..speak up already..did they do anything to my daughter..answer me..?”Thomas yelled at martin’s.

“Yes they did..very bad things..it turned out that they were both secretly involved with Sarah your daughter..”Martin’s finally says..

“What..involved..I don’t get..involved as how..?”I asked still confused about the whole situation.

“Your your relatives were in a secret relationship with your daughter Sarah..”martin’s says again.

“That’s..that’s not true..that’s a lie..I refuse to believe that..”Mary yelled at martin’s.

“No..no..that cannot be true..no..it’s a lie..no..no..it can’t be..my daughter..my daughter was a saint..she was an innocent young girl..I can’t believe that..”I say staring at Larry and Adams.

“Tell me it’s not true brother.. just tell me what this man is saying here isn’t the truth..”Thomas asked Adams.

“Hm..it’s..it’s..the truth brother..I..I..was..in.. love.. with..sarah..”Adams admits..

“Stop it..stop all these nonsense.. you can’t be serious..Sarah was your niece..Sarah was just a little girl.. why..why is all these happening to us..what..what did you do to my girl..ugh tell me..what did you do to my little girl you bastard..”I yelled at Adams still not believing all of these crap.

My husband moved closer to him as he slapped him harder on his face..he grabbed him by the collar ready to fight Adams but martin’s stopped him on time.

“Leave me..let me show this imbecile a lesson..not my girl..not my little girl..this can’t be..”my husband says.

“I’m sorry..I’m sorry it happened..I’m really sorry..please forgive me..”Adams begs.

“Forgiveness is the last thing on my mind..how could you Adams..how you bastard..when..when did it started..when did you start seeing my daughter..ugh..I’m so foolish..I’m so foolish..I should have known…I’m such an idiot..”I say with two hands on my head.

“Recently..I’m sorry..I’m sorry..I didn’t mean to hurt any of you guys..I was..I was just in love with..”I didn’t let him finish the statement before cutting him off with a thunderous slap.

“Shut up..shut up you pervert..I don’t want to hear anything from you..you lying piece of trash..you are nothing but a disgrace to this family..you tricked Sarah right..I’m sure you must have forced yourself on her because..because I know my girl..I know..she’s innocent..”I say almost in tears.

“No..this can’t be true..it can’t be..”Mary says rushing out of our house.

“I’m sorry..I’m sorry please..please forgive me.. please I beg you..”Adams pleaded.

“You..my daughter..no..it still sound impossible..you were her uncle..I trusted you..why did you do it..weren’t there enough women out there?why did it have to be my little girl..ugh..?”I asked him..

“Where is she you bastard..where is Sarah..?”Thomas says.

“I..I..don’t know..”Adams replies.

“Liar…I can’t believe you would do this to me..you are nothing but a pathetic miserable thing..and I hope you guys are gonna arrest this thing because I want nothing to do with you..don’t you ever show your face here..”my husband says.

“Wait..wait..did you..did you sleep with her..did you..?”I asked as both Larry and his father stares at eachother.

“Answer me damnit..which one of you slept with my baby?’i asked

“I..I..did.. but it was nothing force..ful..she..she..wan..te..”I didn’t let him speak finish.

“No..stop.. just stop..I don’t need details..ah God..I’m finished..oh my goodness..oh my God..”I shouted rolling my self on the floor as I cried bitterly..if I had listened to her that day she wanted to talk to me so badly..all these won’t be happening…I’m a stupid mother..I caused all of these..oh no.. where on earth do I start from..my daughter and her uncle were lovers???

Martin’s POV

“You dated a miner so you are gonna be charged for it..”I say to Mr Adams..

“No..please you can’t..you can’t lock my father up..”Larry says.

“I’m sorry but that’s our job..we can’t let people like this walk freely on the road..and I hope you learnt your lessons kid..”I say to Larry as I locked the cubicle…

I have to move to the next plan..Sarah is the goal..I need to find Sarah..if Mr Adams didn’t send that message then who did..I have to interrogate Mary as soon as possible.

Mary’s POV

“Mom..you have to do something..I don’t want my father to be in jail..I don’t want it..please..”Larry begged..

“Your father..cheated on me with that little niece of his..and you want me to do something..he can rot in there for all I care..I don’t give a damn..he should have thought about the consequences before sleeping with his own blood..my goodness..”I say as Larry looks at me with disgust.

“Oh please don’t look at me like that..I’m not the enemy here..you and your father got yourselves into that mess and you will get yourselves out..”I say gulping the glass of liquor.

Just then we both heard a knock on our door as I walked up to open the door..I saw bunch of reporters outside…

“Is it true Mr Adams Badmus slept with Sarah Badmus?”one of the reporters asked

“How could a uncle sleep with his own niece..?”the other reporter questioned.

“Tell us..how do you feel about this whole situation..”

I immediately managed to slam the door on their faces as I hear them knock at our door.

“My goodness how did they get to know about it so quick..?”I asked Larry as he scrolls through his phone.

“No..mom..this can’t be..it’s all over social media..”Larry says showing me a picture of Adams which was captioned as PROFESSOR PERVERT”

“This is surely gonna tarnish our reputation..”I say to Larry.

“I won’t let this continue..I refuse to allow those low life degenerates talk Ill of my father..I know he isn’t a saint in all of these but I can’t stand seeing him suffer this way..”Larry says..

The doorbell rings again as I and Larry rushed to the door..we opened and it’s not the press this time..it’s none other than martin’s.. the cop.

“You..what are you doing here..can’t you just leave us alone for once in your life?”I asked martin’s.

“I need you to come to the station with me.we have few questions to ask you..”martin’s says.

“Well as you can see I’m not interested in any of that you hear me..I’m not going anywhere with you..go look for someone else to blame of my nieces kidnap and stop looking for a way to blame us for it..don’t you have nothing else to do than to harass us.. haven’t you done enough..?’i asked.

“You are clearly drunk..but it’s okay..you are coming to the station with us.. because if you don’t then you were the one who kidnap Sarah..”Martin’s concludes.

“Unbelievable…you’re nothing but an incompetent police officer.. how can you just accuse me like that..you have no evidence.. whatsoever..either ways.. I’ll go with you to clear my name and also to speak to my husband..”I say….

Martin’s POV.

Before the interrogation begins Mary decided to go see her husband in the visiting room..I gave them five minutes to talk.

Adam’s POV

The minute I saw Mary walk through the door. I was so happy..I needed someone to talk to..

“Mary..Mary thank goodness you are here..I need you..I need you to get me out of here this instant..”I say as she just laughs at me.

“What’s.. what’s so funny about this?”I asked.

“I thought you were just a pervert..I never knew you were this senseless you moron..how can I get you out of this mess..you got yourself into this mess so get yourself out of it..you really think am here to help you you good for nothing coward..I never knew you would stoop so low you ingrate..I did suspected you but I never ever for once thought it would be your niece..you are a big disgrace to humanity..your face disgusts me..see what you’re putting us through..you are bad luck..and I hope you rot in here forever..”Mary says..not even feeling any pity for me.

“Oh yeah.. we’ll see about that..the cops will find out the truth sooner or later..we would know who kidnapped my niece and it better not be you..or..else..”

“Or else what..you’re gonna kill me..let me tell you..you are useless here..you are powerless..your only relative turned his back on you..so there’s nothing you can do..”Mary yells at me.

‘really..you..you were the one who texted Sarah right..you texted her because I remembered I forgot my phone at home while you were still home..”I say.

“Oh please..shut up..you don’t know what you’re saying..”Mary defends herself.

“Don’t lie to me.. just say it..you texted Sarah..right..?”I asked.

“What if I did.. that’s none of your business..and you know what.. yes..I did..I did..I was the one who texted Sarah.. infact I have been keeping her hostage for days..and you know why..to put an end to your stupid love story..I always knew you two were dating but I pretended..I followed you both the day you first went to the cottage..you cheater..and you know what..I’m not jealous of Sarah..but she’s gonna pay for messing with my marriage..and you’re gonna help me..”Mary says.

“You kidnapped Sarah..you are worse than I thought. “I say.

“Oh yeah..right.. well I didn’t kidnap her because you did..you kidnapped Sarah..”Mary says.

“Stop playing games with me..”

“Okay..how do I put it..you go back and tell the cops you kidnapped Sarah..because if you don’t..I’ll kill her..I swear it..you better go and change that statement..tell them you texted Sarah..”Mary tries to blackmail me

“No…I won’t..”I refuse.

“Well.. I’ll just order my men to kill her then..”Mary says dialing a number as she puts it on speaker..

“Hello….”Mary says through the phone as I heard Sarah’s voice.. sayinglet me go.. someone help me..Mary immediately hangs up.

“Think about your niece…if you tell them you texted Sarah.. I’ll spare her but if you don’t..you and your entire good for nothing family will go to hell for all I care….

Mary’s POV

The foolish commander thinks he is very smart but I refused to admit that I texted Sarah..when he got tired of repeating the same questions he let me go..

Sarah’s POV

“Why are you guys still keeping me here..why can’t you just kill me already..?”I say crying.

“Don’t be such in a haste to die so soon..come on.. relax little girl..you will die when the boss’s says so..”the masked guy says.

“The boss..the boss..when will this your boss show his or her face.im sick of hearing old news..is your boss invisible or what..I bet if your boss has the guts then let him or her show is face..”I shouted as someone walked in…

“Sarah..Sarah..oh Sarah my sweet little niece..”I heard the familiar voice says as they turned on the lights…

“You???”….

Tina’s POV

“It’s okay now..you’ve been crying for hours…”Mira says.

“It is my fault..it’s all my fault..I never thought my own Sarah would be involved with a married man much less her Uncle..”I say.

‘i don’t want to use the words but I guess I told you so..now look..”Mira says .

‘you were right all along.. Mira..you warned me..but I never listened to you..I can’t believe all these were happening right under my nose…
