Larry’s POV

”i..I don’t remember anything..and you can’t force me to talk..I need a lawyer..”i say not ready to give in so soon.

”you better lower your voice you little kid and answer to all my questions..you’re not leaving here until you tell me the truth Larry Badmus..was your father in any sort of relationship with Sarah..yes or no?”Martins asked..I can’t believe this cop guy has found out more than I thought..this is unbelievable.

”relationship..yes..uncle and niece relationship though..”i replied

”stop playing games with me Larry.. you know fully well what I’m talking about..you texted Sarah assuring her you knew about the secret relationship she had with your father or are you gonna lie about that too?”Martins asked

”hmm..”i sigh not knowing what else to do.

”larry.. we’re not gonna hurt you..we are the cops..we aren’t the bad guys here..all we want is for you to open up to us..see if you really cared about Sarah so much you would start talking..”

”but..but..promise me you’re not gonna arrest my father..”i say.

”thats if he is innocent.. we’re not arresting anybody until we find concrete evidence…so tell me..is it true your father has a relationship with your cousin Sarah?..”

”hmm..hm..yes..”i finally answered.. there’s no need for hiding the truth..he already knows.

”good..so tell me when did you notice it?”martins asked.

”with strange behaviors from both of them..I never thought it was that serious.. because I and Sarah..we..were in some sort of lustful relationship..”I say..

”hmm..so you also wanted Sarah?”he asked.

”yes..and that point..I hated my father because I felt kind of jealous..I mean she preferred him over me..”i say.

”okay..it is obvious you were the last person to see Sarah because in the security camera’s…you two were kissing before walking out of the bar.. so tell me what happened after that?”Martins asked.

”hmm..we..were so drunk..I..I..was so stupid..I wanted to..oh God..I feel so ashamed right now..”I say not knowing how to put the words.

”relax..just say it.. we’ve seen worse cases than this..”martins says.

”hmm..okay..so..I wanted s*x from Sarah..I was drunk at that moment and i don’t know what came over me..we started arguing and I left her on the highway and.. unfortunately that was it…that was the last time I saw Sarah……

Tina’s POV

”i wonder what they’re talking about..I don’t like it one bit that the cops are keeping things from us..we are Sarah’s parents..we need to know everything that’s going on..”I say pacing back and forth in my room…I’m not ready to sleep until I get a call from martin’s..I don’t just understand why he took Larry to the station.

”just calm down tee..the cops will tell us any information..I think you need to rest..you’ve been stressing out all day..”my husband’s says.

”you don’t..you don’t know how this is affecting me Thomas..I’m a mother..I have every right to feel this way..what..what I don’t understand is who will choose to hurt an innocent girl..an eighteen years old..my baby..who did this to us…who could have kidnapped our little girl..?”i say as tears rolls down my cheeks..Thomas stands up from the bed as he placed his hands on my shoulders.

”please..don’t cry..”he says.

”where is our baby..where is Sarah..I’m sorry Thomas but I can’t spend the night here..I want to stay in Sarah’s bedroom tonight..”i say exiting the room..

Mary’s POV

I’m so mad at the cops right now..and worried sick too..my son has been in the interrogating room for hours now..I wonder what they’re asking him about..this is all Sarah’s fault..she is to be blamed for all these..she was so irresponsible..spoilt brat and now she’s causing everyone unnecessary troubles..I received a call from my husband and I told him we re at the station..of course he doesn’t bother to show up because it’s not sarah..what a shame..he cares about his niece more than his son.

Just while at the hallway..I sighted Larry and Martin’s coming towards my way.

”oh..my son..”i say rushing to meet Larry as we both hugged eachother.

”mom..”larry says before pulling away from me.

”what problem do you have with my son..what is it you want?”I fired at martin.

”you ll find out tomorrow.. anyways goodnight..”Martins says leaving both of us.

”fool..son..tell me..what did they do to you..tell me Larry?”i insist.

”nothing.. just few questions..I rather not talk about it..let’s just get out of here..”he says.

”yeah..let’s go..”

The Following Morning

Adam’s POV

Thinking today’s gonna be a peaceful day as I heard a bang on our door..I turned to look at Mary and she’s still asleep..who could be knocking at our door this early..?

I get up from bed as Mary rolled a bit waking up gradually.

”my love..are you hearing that sound?”Mary asked.

”some one is at the door..let me go check..”i say wearing my trousers as I walked out of the room.. climbing downstairs..the bell rings non stop as I opened the door..it’s martin’s the cop..with other policemen behind him.

”hey.. good morning..how may I help you..?”i say…

By then Mary joined us at the door entrance with Lizzie and Larry .

”martins..what are you doing here.. aren’t you tired of showing your faces at the doors of our house..?”Mary yelled at them.

”good morning to you all..I know it might have been rude to show up this early but we would like to speak with Mr badmus in the police station now..”Martins say.

”now..but..why though?”I asked.

”its regarding your niece case..Sarah Badmus..”Martins answered.

”this is disrespectful..we haven’t even taken our bathe yet..and you show up here waking us up for some silly questions..”Mary says

”we can wait here till you get ready..don’t worry.. we’re not in a hurry..”Martins says.

”this is not fair..”i say as I turned to my children.

”daddy..why is the police here?”lizzie asked..

”its nothing my girl..it’s nothing..”i lied….

Tina’s POV

”tina..tina..tina..”i heard a familiar voice calling as I gradually wake up from my sleep..the door creaked opened as I see Mary standing right in front of me.

”mary..what are..are you doing here..so early..?”i asked .

”tina..you can’t believe it..those cops came to my house to arrest Adams..those cops are going too far now..”mary says

”really..it must be regarding Sarah’s situation..don’t worry it’s gonna be fine..”i say standing up from my bed.

”im fed up..those bastards should go find the real kidnappers and stop looking for innocent people to blame it on…..

Martin’s POV

”what is it you want..?”adams asked as we entered the interrogating room.

”the truth..Mr Adams I’m not gonna waste anytime here..I just want to know the truth..which your son already testified on…”i say playing the recording of Larry confession’s.

Adam’s was more shocked than ever..I bet he never expected any of these..

”only a fool would believe all what Larry says..Larry is just a kid..tell me..you forced him to say those things didn’t you..?”

”of course not Mr Adams..I never did that..because they’re was no need to..just tell me..did you sleep with Sarah Badmus yes or no..?”i asked

”no..how can you imagine such..don’t believe what Larry is saying they are all lies..”adams says.

”you think I’m a fool..I wasn’t born yesterday Mr Adams..I know when someone is telling lies..and if you not gonna admit it..let me refresh your memory..”i say showing Adams a picture of Sarah.. then I show him his previous calls and messages.

”now..tell me..is your brain reset?”i asked.

”this is just a normal thing..I have the right to care for my niece..come on..don’t take any of these personal..”Adams says.

”oh..listen to yourself..this shows the perverted kind of being you are..explain to me which niece on earth sends a nude picture to her uncle.. answer me..”i blasted Adams.

”where were you the night Sarah disappeared?”i asked him..

”the party of course..”he answered.

”good..you texted Sarah that same night to meet up at a cottage right?”i asked him..

”what cottage..?”he says confused.

”you texted Sarah so don’t play dumb with me..”i say showing him the message.

”no I didn’t..”mr Adams replied

”lying won’t solve anything..just admit it..you messaged her..”i say.

”no..I didn’t..”he says

”then who did..quit lying damn it..”i shouted at Mr Adams loosing my patience.

”im not lying martin’s..I didn’t because I wasn’t with my phone..”Adams says..this dude never stops to amaze me.

”oh what a comeback lie..”i say.

”no..it’s the truth..I forgot my phone at home..I swear it..I never texted Sarah to meet up at a cottage..never..it’s not even in my phone..”adams says bringing out his phone as he shows me his last message.

”but..but how come is in Sarah’s phone..?”i asked

”i don’t know..I swear on my life..I didn’t send that text..”adams says.

”was your wife at home that night?”I asked.

”yes..”

”okay..fine..let’s assume you didn’t send the text..just tell me Mr Adams..when did you and your niece started developing feelings for eachother..?”

”this is insane..”adams says.

”your son already told me..we have proof that both of you were secretly seeing eachother through her phone and messages so there’s no need to pretend..just spill it out…….
