Sarah’s POV

”my wonderful niece..we meet again but this time around I won’t allow you mess with my marriage you rotten tramp..”i knew my kidnapper would be someone who knows a bit about me..but I never imagined it to be Mary..my uncle’s wife.

”aunt..”i say weakly.

”dont you dare call me your aunt you foolish girl.. because if I were truly your aunt..you wouldn’t have opened your damn stinky p*ssy for my husband..you don’t know how happy I am to see you depressed.. weak..dirty and almost dead..”my aunt Mary says and it hurts..it hurts so bad because I’m the one at fault..I..I nearly ruined her marriage..she’s right..I shouldn’t have messed with my uncle..I’m so stupid..look at what have gotten my self into..?

”please..please forgive me..please I beg you..please forgive me auntie..you can free me and no one would know about this..I swear I’ll never come near your husband again..I’ll even disappear from this town..just please forgive me..”i begged.

”oh don’t be silly Sarah…everyone already knows about it..your dear parents find out today about your foolish deeds..and you know who they’re blaming for it..my husband..it’s because of you my husband’s in jail now Sarah..you are the root of all the problems we are facing and don’t even think I’ll forgive you..because I won’t.. this is unforgivable and better start saying your last prayers because death is already at your door…guys…”aunt mary called out as three huge men walked in behind her..”since your thing was scratching you so badly to have s*x..these guys are here to keep you company..enjoy..tramp..”Aunt Mary says as she walked out of the warehouse.

”aunt..mary..please..please get me out of here..please forgive me..”i cried as three huge men in front of me moved closer laughing at me.

”please get me out of here..please..”i cried as one of them rubs his hands on my thighs..

”dont..don’t touch me..don’t touch..me..” I cried as the other two holds my hands tightly.

”no..please..no..!”i shouted as one of them tears off my underwear…

”shut up already..”one of the guys says pulling off his trousers..

”no..!!!no..!!”i screamed as I felt a huge thing inside of me..I cried as he thrusted in and out of me..he switched turns with another of the guys..as all three of them raped me turns by turns.

Martin’s POV

”your wife turned out to be very smart..she didn’t say a word about texting Sarah..”i say to Adams.

”of course she won’t…”adams answered.

”did..did she tell you anything about Sarah’s kidnapping..see if she told you anything better start talking..your sentence will be reduced and you’ll be released out of prison sooner..”i say hoping I could at least get something out of Adam..

”no..she didn’t tell me anything..”he replied.

”i know you’re hiding something..and I won’t rest until I find out what it is..”i say locking Adams in the cubicle.

SIX MONTHS LATER

Tina’s POV

”mame..breakfast is ready..”Ono says standing beside my door as I turned to face her…tears rolled down my cheeks.

”i’m not hungry..”i replied..

”oh madame..the doctor said you need to eat something..and you’ve been crying for months now..”Ono says.

”where is Sarah Ono..Ono where can I find my little girl..tell me..it’s been..it’s been half of the year now..it’s six months without hearing from my girl.. only God knows whether she’s alive..scared..hidden…or even worse dead..I can’t..I can’t do this anymore..I can’t survive without Sarah..I can’t..no more..”I cried..

”oh mame..it breaks my heart to see you suffering like this..you just..you just need to keep praying..God is with Sarah..he isn’t going to let anything bad happen to her..”Ono says..

”oh please don’t talk to me about God..where was he when she was kidnapped..wasn’t he supposed to protect her..why didn’t he do it..ugh..?”I asked Ono.

”oh mame.. that’s why God is unquestionable..mame.. believe me..Sarah will turn up..I swear she will..”Ono says joining me on my bed as I leaned on her shoulder.. weeping.

Thomas’s POV

”you call yourselves cops and you haven’t still found my daughter..what are we paying you for then.. can’t you see it’s six months already..and still no news about my daughter..”i yelled at martin’s and Marcia.

”sir..please lower your voice and calm down..we ve been trying all our possible best to find her..but all our efforts have been impossible..”marcia says..

”i know how you’re feeling about this but please.. please give us time.. we’ll find Sarah..”martin’s says.

”well you better do..if not..I’ll tell the head of this police department to fire you both..”i say exiting Martin’s office..life has been so unfair to I and Tina..our little girl has been missing for six months now.. and the worse part of it is the only person I trusted..my brother Adams is also in prison..I have no one to talk to..and my baby..my only child is nowhere to be found…..

Tina’s POV

”my love..look..this one is going to be the perfect match.. isn’t it lovely..?”i asked Larry showing him the suits and trousers I bought for his graduation ceremony… my baby boy would be graduating tomorrow..I can’t believe it.. finally.

”yeah..”he answered concentrating on his video games..

”hey..is yeah all you’ve got to say..come on now..Larry..I’m talking to you..”i say as he turned to face me .

”dont you ever get tired of talking..?”larry fired back at me..

”larry..don’t you talk to me like that..”i say.

”then let me be..can’t you just see that there’s no reason for me to be happy..oh yeah I may be celebrating my graduation party tomorrow but my father won’t be there..you know why.. because he is locked up in prison and you clearly don’t give a damn about that..and to top it all Sarah is gone..my my best friend..my blood..my Sarah..we planned on graduating together but she’s missing..can’t you see that our lives are miserable..I guess you can’t because all you think about is yourself..”Larry says flinging the game pad as he walked upstairs..just then Lizzie comes out of the kitchen.

”mom..when will daddy come back from the overseas..?”

”soon my dear..soon..”i lied.

”but why do you keep on fighting with Larry..?”lizzie asked..

I and Larry thought it’s best to keep Lizzie out of all these nonsense happening and that’s why she doesn’t know her father is still in prison..we had to come up with a lie so she won’t feel bad….

Following Morning

Anita’s POV

”i can’t believe it..we are finally graduating..”Ella my new friend says..I wish Sarah was here with us..we would have been like the three musketeers..but she isn’t..I can’t still believe Sarah is missing and might be dead by now..today’s suppose to be a special day for Sarah but she’s gone..I could not help it as the tears rolls down my cheeks…

“Hey are..you..oh my..you’re crying..hey what’s the matter?”ella asked..as I wiped off my tears with my face towel.

”its..it’s nothing..”i tried to lie..

”is it about Sarah..is it because of Sarah you’re crying?”Ella asked.

”hmm..yes..yes..it’s Sarah..the thing is we were supposed to be graduating together by now but..but she’s gone..Sarah is gone..”i say sobbing.

”oh.. that’s so sad..you know what..I have a plan to cheer you up..a little bit..”ella says.

”oh please I’m in no mood for any plan..all I want now is my best friend..”i say.

”just listen..do you have any pictures of Sarah..?”ella asked.

”yes of course.. what do you want?”

”has Sarah won any gold medals for the school because everyone says she’s intelligent..”ella asked.

”yeah..she’s was the captain of soccer girls game and she won like five medals for the school..why do you ask anyways?”….

Martin’s POV.

I and Marcia came up with a brilliant plan to place a GPS tracker on Tina’s car and so we decided to visit her this morning.. after knocking on the gates of her compound twice..she finally opened..

”oh spare me today..don’t you guys get tired of showing your faces in my apartment..”tina questioned..as I and Marcia entered the compound.

”i want to ask you few questions..briefly..”i say trying to distract Tina as Marcia looks for a way to place the device beneath Tina’s car.

”you guys obviously haven’t found anything and that’s why you are here in my own house to harass me again.. what’s your problem..see I don’t ve any answers to your regular questions..and as you can see I’m getting ready for my son’s graduation ceremony so get the hell out of my house this instant..”she yelled at me..as Marcia gives me a sign that she already did the job.

”okay..fine..have a nice day mame..”i say as I Marcia exited the building.

Larry’s POV

”And the award for best student in English goes maria..”i..and Anita we’re seated at the front roll of the hall as our school director gives graduating students awards..The crowd clapped as maria collects her medal taking pictures with the school director while giving her speech.

”she didn’t come..”anita says.

”who?”i asked.

”mrs Badmus..”Anny replied..

”of course she won’t..I’m not sure she’ll be able to bear the pain and plus she hates me after everything I did to Sarah..”i replied..

”well we have a plan and I would like you to join us..”Anita says .

”what is it..?”i asked anxiously.

”i’ll tell you after prize awards are over..”ann says concentrating..as the director announces.

”every year in Hilton high school..we crown our best student of the year..a student with straight A’s..a neat.. smart..confident.. active and most of all intelligent student..this year..the award for best student in Hilton high school goes to………..Sarah Badmus..!!”the director says as everyone clapped.

”its Sarah..Sarah won..Sarah won..”anny says..

”lets go take the award on behalf of her..”i say as Ann follows me to the podium.

The face my mother gave me was priceless like she isn’t happy at all that Sarah won best student of the year..but I ignored it giving my speech..

”sarah..what will say..I’m here on behalf of the best cousin in the world..she might not be here today..to receive this awards but she will always remain in our hearts..and thanks to you all for voting for my cousin.. because she is truly the best..”i say stepping back for Ann to talk .

”sarah has always been my motivator..Sarah’s not only intelligent..she’s beautiful.. smart and brave..she’s like the sister I never had.. I and Larry here are standing before you guys to thank you for all your support and keep doing what you do best..because a day like this would come and you I pray you won’t be lost when that day comes….

Anita says as the crowd clapped for both of us.

Sarah’s POV

”sarah..have it..”The masked man whose name is Jose gives me the hamburger..

”i’m not hungry..”i say facing another side..

”really..oh come on now.. you’ve not eaten for days.. you want to die of hunger?”He asked.

”isnt that what you and my auntie want..why are you still waiting..why don’t you go ahead and kill me already..?”i asked.

”sarah I know..I know you don’t deserve any of these happening..to you but still you need to eat something..”jose says..Jose has changed these past few months now..he doesn’t hit me like before and even though Mary tells him to hurt me he doesn’t lay a finger on me but still I don’t trust him..

”why do you care?”i asked .

”why wouldn’t I..Sarah..we ve been holding you hostage for like six months now..instead of hating.. have grown to care for you..and I can’t do this anymore..I can’t continue seeing a young girl like you get hurt..”jose says.

”then get me out of here..please.. if you really care so much..get me out of here..free me..”i say to him.

”that would be death sentence..Mary would kill both of us if I ever help you out of here..and plus..she pays me good money for all these..I don’t wanna loose that..”jose says

”so money is more worthy than a person’s life..jose..please help me..please I’m begging you.”i say hoping he would say yes.

”no..no..Sarah..I can’t..I’m sorry but I cannot betray my boss..now..”Jose says shaking his head.

”okay.. fine..but at least can I make a phone call..at least..let me just hear my mother’s voice.. please..please I’m begging you..”i say…as he nods his head.

”but don’t you think of telling them the location….”Jose says……

Tina’s POV

”look.. isn’t she beautiful..?”i say asking my husband as we watch video clips of Sarah’s graduation party in nursery’s and primaries classes.

”she’s wonderful darling..too bad she isn’t here to celebrate her day..”my husband’s says..

”she would have dressed up already in her gown..smiling like she always do..and she would even make us proud in winning prizes..but she’s not here today..Sarah my baby isn’t here..Thomas..where will I ever get another sweet baby like Sarah…she was my life..my joy..my everything..how I’m I gonna continue with this pain of not knowing where our little girl is..sometimes I wish I could sleep and not wake up.. because everytime I wake up and she’s not there..I feel like I’m about to loose.. loose my mind..”i say as I tried as much as I could to hold back my tears.

”oh..Tina..”my husband says as Ono interrupts us..in the living room.

”mame..”she calls me.

”ono I thought I said I want to be alone with my wife..”thomas yell at her angrily.

”what is it Ono?”i asked standing up from the couch.

”you have some visitor..come with me..”Ono says as I and Thomas followed her.. Ono leads us to the door as I was shocked to see thousands of graduating students all lined up in front of our houses..still confused about all the whole situation when one girl comes out from the midst of the crowd.

”sarah..who is Sarah..Sarah is a loving girl.. she’s everything a parent want in their daughter..I know she might have made silly mistakes but she is still our Sarah..”the girl paused and another guy continued..

”sarah..what do you think when you hear of Sarah..you think of smartness.. courage..hardworking.. intelligent girl..very sporty..she’s the only female captain in the school due to her bravery she wins against all..”Then Anita moved closer..all the graduating students raised up a banner which Sarah’s pictures were on it..

Ann says..”she has won time and time..she’s like a my sister from another mother..who wouldn’t like a girl like Sarah..she’s our all in all..this day isn’t what it is without her..we wish we could see her..and celebrate this wonderful day together but we can’t.. anyways we still have her..in our hearts..”Anita says placing down all the medals Sarah’s won for the school.

”who else could do any better than my cousin…I know you hate me for everything but we are here to show you..that Sarah won’t be forgotten..we are here to show you guys that we love Sarah..that we care for her and that we hope that someday..we find her..”Larry says as they all drop flowers in front of my door step..

”oh..my..I..I..don’t know what to say..”i say as Larry and Anita walked up to I and Thomas.

”you don’t have to say anything..all that matters is she would always remain in our hearts forever..”Anita says..

”please forgive me auntie..please.. please I beg you..”larry says as I hugged him.

”of course I do..of course I do..”i say as Thomas joined us hugging eachother.

”thank you all for everything…..this is wonderful..you don’t know how you guys have made me feel with these..”i say to both anny and larry…

They hanged picture in the streets of Lagos..and I decided to do a get together party for all of them..to cheer them up at least even though I needed to talk to my daughter…

Evening

Sarah’s POV

”i give you two minutes..you better talk to her now because the boss is on her way here soon..”jose says as he gives me his phone.

I quickly dialed her number as I pressed call..the phone rang and rang but she didn’t pick..I’m sure she must be wondering which number was calling..I didn’t give up..I kept on calling again and again….

Tina’s POV

”good night..”i say to Thomas as I checked my phone..ten missed call from a unknown number..that’s weird..

”what is it..?”thomas asked..noticing my disturbed face.

”its the number which has been calling me for hours..”i say

”pick it then..”thomas suggests.

”but..it’s unknown..”i say .

”what if..what if it was Sarah’s kidnapper..you should have just picked it..”thomas says..as the phone rings again..

”pick it..”thomas yells at me as I pressed the button..putting it on speaker..

”hello…”i say through the phone…
