The natives of South Africa rejoiced as the day of the dance festival finally arrived. They soon began to make preparations for the festivities that will occur later in the night.

Many looked forward to the festivities including the whites, who were eager to join in this occasion but not all of them were joyful about the occasion.

Pastor Bernard, who was among those who despised the festival, sat in the front porch of his house that morning and showed his resentment by cursing the natives that passed by . While he was busy doing that, his wife Susan came out of the house and stood behind her husband, staring down at him with disgust.

Bernard Worthless black apes!! Look at the pagans celebrating their heathen nonsense. God! This world is indeed filled with filth.

Susan That would be enough now love. You’re making us look like fools.

In that moment, Susan notices Jeremiah from afar lurking in the crowd like a weasel. She quickly understands his motives and soon devises a plan to get rid of her husband.

Susan By the way, I forgot to mention that the kitchen is empty. We are in need of food supply and vegetables.

Bernard Vegetables!? You know getting is quite hard, I’ll have to go to the country side to get them.

Susan So? You’re the man of the house. Go get it or else there’ll be no lunch or dinner.

Bernard I’m tired. You can take my car and go get it yourself.
