Erica on the other hand divorced her husband upon his visit after she found out she was pregnant for one of her many lovers. Her husband returned to america without but that was because she insisted on staying here.

Dolores on her own part got lucky and married again after falling in love and getting pregnant some black French cook that happens to be on a tour in South Africa. The two got married in the country and promised to move back to France to start their new lives there once the war was over.

Jessica on the other hand, now runs her husbands printing press . She received a letter 2 years ago that her husband was caught dead lying n-kedly on top of a German woman in Paris. The shameless woman didn’t even flinch at her husband’s death. In fact, she counted it as a blessing and an opportunity to do as she pleased with her life.

Speaking of blessing, my sister’s relationship with Peter was getting and blossoming magnanimously. The two were so in love with each other that they would see each other more than once in a day but despite how smooth their relationship was going, their differences in skin color and nationality became a problem for them. Just like Elizabeth and I, Marian and Peter faced ridicule and resentment from both sides especially from the latter’s father. It’s sad to see that the society see the beauty in this union, Racism is disease that keeps us apart and if we fail to overcome that then I’m afraid it will consume us all and dwell us in nothing but hate and resentment for eternity.

And lastly on Mr. Toby’s part, he didn’t really go through any chances. The old chap was just living his life the same way he has been doing, I was hoping he would live a peaceful and normal life just like the way I’m doing but then something happened that changed all that.

One afternoon, I went over to Toby’s house for a visit and upon arriving there, I saw him sitting on his front porch, drinking a bottle of bear while holding a letter. As soon as I got closer to him, I sat next to the old chap asking him about his well being.
