Must Read: My Missing Rib (The Stranger) - Season 1 - Episode 9

Thelma watched Steve and her sister from behind, she neglected them and went back to her tent. However, Steve never stopped being inquisitive as he sometimes glanced at Stella.

"I'm wondering why your family are the only ones from South Africa here. What do they want from you people?"

"I don't know" Stella replied and slightly bent to plough a leaf. "I guess you are a Nigerian too" she asked then looked at Steve.

"Yes, that makes me believe we are still within Nigeria"

"Really?"

"Yes" both remained quiet.

Steve looked steadily into the bush while Stella played with the leaf in her hands. After some moments of silence, she glanced at him knowing that he was in a deep thought. "Hey, what's the problem?"

Steve came back to his senses and said, "I'm just
wondering how my parents are feeling now.
How i wish i can call them and tell them I'm still alive even though i don't know where i am"

"Is that what troubles you?" Stella was still asking looking at him. "There is a cell phone here" she added and Steve looked at her sharply.

"A cell phone? Where?!"

"My father has it"

As Steve stood up instantly with a force to go collect the phone, so as Stella stood up and grabbed his hand thereby making them to face each and looking into each other's eyes romantically.

"No, don't rush it" Stella's voice was calm and melodious still holding Steve's hand. "I will get the cell phone for you, but there is no signal here" she added looking at him.

The more Steve looked at her and hear her voice, the more his heartbeat decreased and finally calmed down. He couldn't say anything but gradually looked down on his arm where Stella was still holding him. Just then, Stella disengaged her hand immediately and said, "I'm sorry"

"Is okay" they sat down again in their initial position. They didn't say anything anymore but occasionally admired each other with their eyes.

Immediately Judeson drove inside the resident of Mr Stanley with a red Range over car, so as Celestina's taxi dropped her at the gate. She wore a trouser which obviously sharpened the shape of her round butt0ckz. Her breast in a brown top was something one cannot write home about. She pushed the gate open and hurried into the sittingroom where Mr and Mrs Stanley were already telling Judeson the current situation.

"I don't believe Steve is dead" Mr Stanley began sitting on a cushion. Just then, Celestina entered hearing the word 'dead'.

"Dead?" she said removing her hand bag slowly, so all looked at her even Judeson.

"No, Steve is not dead, i believe he's only missing" Mr Stanley said.

"Why? And what happened?" Celestina slowly moved to Mrs Stanley and sat beside her.

"Steve's airplane crashed before it crossed our territory"

"Jeez!" Judeson exclaimed folding his hands while Celestina began to cry immediately. In the process, Mrs Stanley drew her closer to her chest.

"My son is not dead" she also said in tears.

"You mean his body couldn't be found either dead or alive?" Judeson asked.

"Yes, that's why we concluded that he's only missing" Mr Stanley replied bitterly.

At the motor part, Justice sat quietly at a lonely place with a pure water in his hand which he occasionally poured on his head. Just as he thought about Celestina, his fellow taxi driver, Bernard came around.

"Justice, you look so tired today. Or is it because of Celestina again?"

"Who else except her?" Justice replied.

"Guy, i have warned you to leave that girl, even her younger sister, Faith is prettier than her"

"What do u mean?"

"Since Celestina is proving stubborn, why can't you try her sister?"

"But i love Celestina so much"

"Love.." Bernard disdained him.

"Yes nah" Justice stood up. "You never heared that you marry only the person you love?"

"Not in this case oh!" Bernard held his shoulder. "Listen, that Faith might have an atom of love for you but you wouldn't know" he added.

Justice didn't say a word again but gave his words some series thought.

Back to the unknown land, Steve stood at the back of Buboy's tent with his hands on his waist.
It was obvious that he was waiting for somebody.

On the other hand, Stella was battling with her sister silently in their tent.

"You are taking a very big risk!" Thelma told her.

"I just want to get the cell phone to him. Who knows if a help will come from there?" Stella replied and sneaked into her father's tent, then took the phone to Steve.

"I know what i did now is risky but i don't mind" Stella handed the phone to him looking into his eyes.

"Thanks" Steve gradually took it. When he couldn't get a signal, he raised the phone up walking around and looking for a signal..

Back to the small room where they are being monitored. The man sitting at the centre saw Steve with the phone. "fu-Ck, madam we have a
situation!" he shouted then Lawrence
arrived. "The stranger has a cell phone!"

"What?!" Lawrence took a better look. "Get the Chopper ready now!" she commanded..
