Mr and Mrs Stanley became surprise when Steve stood up. They couldn't just get the reason why he wanted to go to the police station. As they stared at him, so as Celestina stared at Thelma.


"Son, why going to the police station? I've already told the chief of police about your arrival" Mr Stanley said.


"Yes!" the wife supported.

"Dad, that lady needs to explain something to me, even the police" Steve replied.


"About what?" the father was still inquisitive.


"About the way about of a particular girl and why they were kidnapped all the way from South Africa"

"I don't understand you, son"


"You will not understand, Dad" Steve grabbed a car key and Thelma followed him instantly.
Celestina saw them through the window how Steve opened the front door of the car for Thelma, she entered in a hurry then he closed it. "Babangida, open the gate!" Steve shouted and drove out instantly. Then Celestina looked at Mrs Stanley sadly.

On their way to the police station, Steve occasionally glanced at Thelma who sat quietly gazing straight.


"Stella?" Steve called her but she didn't response. So he placed a hand on her shoulder and rubbed it gently. "We gonna find your sister and get to the root of all this, okay?" he added.


"Okay" Thelma replied.

However, Justice had resumed work of driving a hotel manager in a flashy car which he was allowed to move around with. One could see him entering Mrs Henry's resident on a driving uniform with a cap. He knocked at the door and entered just to see Mrs Henry and Faith in the parlour. Faith was operating her phone while her mother was knitting.


"Good day ma'am" Justice greeted. He could see Faith smiling at him, probably because of his outfit.


"Good day, Justice" Mrs Henry also smiled.


"Welcome officer" Faith jokingly greeted and they laughed.


After Justice had taken a seat, Mrs Henry said, "You look different today oh. Did you win something?"

"No ma'am, just that i got another job" Justice replied.


"So you have finally been hired!" Faith said enthusiastically.


"Yes"


"Wow, I'm so happy for you"


"Thanks"


"So what job is that?" Mrs Henry asked then Justice explained. "God will continue to bless you" she added.


"Amen" Justice responded smiling.

"But Celestina is not around"


"I didn't come to see Celestina" Justice said then Faith and her mother looked at each other.


"Who then did you come to see my son?" Mrs Henry asked.

"I came to see you and Faith, Faith in particular"


"That's so thoughtful of you"


"Thanks" Justice replied.


However, Faith heartbeat had changed as she sat quietly on the cushion.


"Ma'am, i hope you won't mind if i speak with Faith privately outside" Justice demanded.


"Go ahead my son" Mrs Henry replied then looked at Faith in a way that says: GO WITH HIM.

Faith dropped her cell phone without saying a word and went outside. Justice could see her round butt flinging to and fro in a jean trouser as he followed her...

At police station, Steve and Thelma met the chief of the police in his office.


"Your father just called telling me you are back" the officer began.

"Yes, i... sorry, we practically escaped" Steve replied.

"With this girl?" the officer pointed at Thelma.


"Yes, and one other boy who has found his way home" without wasting time, Steve asked, "Please, sir during the time you caught the kidnappers, did you see any girl that looks exactly like this one" he pointed at Thelma.


"No" the officer took a good look at Thelma. "Are you saying that she's an identical twin?"


"Yes, sir"

"No, we didn't see her. Actually, the people we saw were mostly women and children"


"What about a man's dead body, my father precisely?" Thelma asked.


"All dead bodies were taken to the mortuary" the officer replied looking at Thelma again. "You don't look like a Nigerian, are you?" he asked.


"No, we're from South Africa"


The officer became confused and adjusted on his seat. "Are you saying you were kidnapped from South Africa by the same lady?"


"Yes" Thelma replied.


"How possible is it?"


"I don't know" they became quiet.


"What's your name?" the officer asked again.


"My name is Thelma" Thelma replied forgetting that she was pretending to be Stella. Hearing that, Steve became very surprise staring at her.
He didn't want to react at that moment, so he kept it in his heart.


"Ehm, Thelma, lets go and find out how and why your were kidnapped from your country to this place by Lawrence" the officer concluded and stood up. Steve remained quiet until they left...

Faith stood before Justice outside the house. She couldn't look at his face then she bent her head down.


"Hey, what?" Justice began.


"Nothing" Faith managed to look at him. "Why do you want to see me?"


"I met your sister yesterday but she turned me down again"

"Do you want me to talk to her?" Faith asked.


"No, I've given up. I've realised she won't accept me"


"But why?"


"I have to try my luck with someone else"


"Who could that be?" Faith stared at him.


"It's you" Justice replied...
