"Monitored by who?" Buboy asked looking at Steve.

"By the people who put us here" Steve replied.

"I don't get it" Buboy brought down the meat from the fire looking at Steve who sat down again immediately.

"Have you thought of how they knew your were about to escape the first time?" Steve brought down his voice.

"What are you trying to say?"

"What I'm saying is that there might be cameras planted somewhere here to monitor all our movements" Steve concluded but Buboy said nothing. "Well, what do you think?"

"You have an idea, Steve" Buboy exhaled deeply and sat properly. "Listen, i know you want to escape by all means but i want you to understand that i practically become a hunter here, and i have gone to a far distance to see nothing but forest. So, if at all we escape, where shall we be escaping to?"

"But leaving this place is better than being killed"
"Yes, but remember we are at more risk because if they get to know about it, they'll kill us all"

"Well, great men take great risk" Steve concluded.

The chief police officer picked the called. "Yes, go on" he said and listened carefully for few seconds. "Your best is not enough! I want you to keep investing until you get the criminals or kidnappers whosoever they are, understood!" he cut the call and turned to the pictures on the wall again.

Faith, Celestina's sister hurried up that night from the market. She could see people still hawking around the street while some had closeed their shops. She wore a voluminous skirt and blouse with a bag in her hand. Just as she waited for taxi, Justice, who also closed for work drove out.

"Hey, Faith, where are u going to?" he shouted with a hand on the starringwheel. "Just enter" he added before Faith could say anything. Faith entered looking happy that she saw him rather than taking another taxi. She sat quietly in the front seat and adjusted her skirt.

"I guess you are going home" Justice broke the silence.

"Yes, i actually came to get some things against tomorrow which is Sunday" Faith replied without looking at him.

"Wait" Justice stopped the car. He went out and bought a loaf of bread then came back immediately. "Here, take this" he stretched it to Faith.

"Why are you giving me bread?" Faith asked looking at him.

"I'm not giving you the bread. It's for Celestina. Please, help me give it to her"

Faith waited for a while, she glanced at the bread and glanced at Justice. She could see a good and kind loving man. "You and i know that Celestina won't take this" she said.

"Then take it if she rejects it"

"Why me?"

"Hum.. if you don't want it too, give it to your mother"

Faith gradually took the bread and they drove out. On their way, Justice began to pour out his feelings again. "I love your sister very well, I'm ready to do anything for her to accept me, but the more i try the more she pushes me away..."

Faith listened to him without saying anything until they drew closer to their house, Justice stopped the car for her to go down. Just as Faith wanted to go down, she looked at him and said, "I never told you i don't want the bread, i only asked why giving it to me if my sister rejects it" Without waiting for a response, she stepped down. "Thanks for the help" she closed the door and crossed the road, then Justice became speechless thinking of the meaning of her statement.

Celestina was actually in her room trying Steve's number endlessly. She wore a bumshort with a white top sitting on the bed with her legs folded-as if crippled. Just then, Faith entered with the bread and stood before her without saying a word.

"Why are you standing here staring at me?" Celestina asked.

"Justice said i should give you this" she stretched the bread to her.

Celestina looked at the bread and looked at her again. "You are very stupid, do you know that? Just get that thing away from here!"

"Don't call me stupid again" Faith angrily dropped the bread on the bed and began to walk out. Just at the door, Celestina threw the bread at her. She wanted to ignore it but gently picked it and went away with it.

THE_NEXT_DAY

As Judeson and Celestina were on their way to Mr Stanley's house to know why Steve number is not going through, so as Steve came out from his tent. He saw Stella sitting alone spacing out into the bush, so he walked up to her from behind. "Hey" he said.

Stella sharply looked back and her long hair flapped on her face. She slid them backward and said, "Hi"

"May i sit?" Steve asked.

"Come on, sit" Stella adjusted for him. So he gradually sat beside her, both staring at the bush.

"I'm Steve"

"Sorry?" Stella looked at him to come again.
"I mean my name is Steve" Steve stretched his hand.

"Oh, and i'm Stella" she shook his hand gently and disengaged it immediately looking at the
bush again. "Who told you about my mum?"
Stella broke the silence without looking at him.

"Your father did" Steve replied. Just then, Thelma came out from her tent too...
