Must Read: My Missing Rib (The Stranger) - Season 1 - Episode 10

"Son of a bitch!" Lawrence exclaimed and brought out a cigarette. She light it up immediately as she hurried outside. But she stopped and said to one of her workers. "Have you gotten a theory?"

"Not yet, madam, the experiment is still in progress" the young handsome worker replied.

"fu-Ck you!" she hurried outside. However, the blade of the chopper was already rotating very fast ready to fly. Immediately Lawrence entered, it took off.

ack to the unknown land, Stella looked around to monitor Her father's presence as Steve moved a bit further into the bush insearch of signal. He had already dialed his father's number hopping it rings without a signal. Few minutes after no signs of signal, he sluggishly brought back the phone to Stella standing before her looking into her eyes.

"I guess have to move further into the forest next time insearch of signal" Steve stretched the phone to her.

Stella gently collected it but never averted her eyes from him holding the cell phone tightly with her two hands. "I believe in you. I know one day you'll get us out of here" she said.

"Is okay" Steve patted her shoulder. Just then, the sound of helicopter came and everybody ran out from the tent as usual looking scared. Seeing that, Stella quickly ran to her sister who was already standing outside. Steve, Buboy and Zeno also approached closer in front of their tents.
The chopper landed and many men with guns came out. Lawrence was the last to come out still smoking then everywhere remained calmed.

"You, over here" Lawrence pointed at Steve.
Seeing that, Stella glanced at her sister as she held the phone behind her. Steve gently approach forward-a bit far from Lawrence.

"Give me the cell phone" Lawrence commanded. Hearing that, Zeno glanced at her two daughters from his tent.

"I don't have any cell phone" Steve replied then Lawrence giggled.

"Oh, you don't have any cell phone. I see.. I'll ask you one more time. Where is the cell phone?"

"I don't know what you're talking about" Steve replied again.

"Okay, shoot him" Lawrence commanded and the closest man aimed his gun at Steve.

"Stop!!"Stella shouted. she ran to Steve in the sight of everybody and stood beside him. The father became more surprise. "Please, don't kill him. It's all my fault. I'm the one who gave him the phone. This is it" she brought out the phone.

"Hm.. impressive!" Lawrence blew out a smoke. "Get the phone" she commanded and the phone was taken away from Stella. "You've been saved Mr man" Lawrence continued. "By the way, how did the cell phone get here?"

Everybody remained quiet. Zeno and Buboy looked at each other but kept quiet.

"So nobody wants to talk, right? Shoot the female one" Lawrence commanded again.

"Stop! Don't touch my daughter" Zeno shouted from his tent. "I found the cell phone in one of the clothes you brought to us" he added.

Lawrence became disappointed in her workers.
She disdained all of them blowing out smoke in the process. She didn't say anything again but just turned to the chopper. She stopped and turned again looking at Steve. "What's your name?" she asked.

"Steve"

"Surname?"

"Stanley"

"Stanley?" Lawrence moved closer "From where?"

"Nigeria" Steve was replying boldly as Stella stood closely beside him.

"Where in Nigeria precisely?"

"Lapresa"

"Hmm.. I guess i have heard of your father. A very wealthy man who owns several hotels and
companies. Call his phone number for me"
Lawrence demanded then Steve called his father's phone number as an afterthought. "Now consider yourself officially kidnapped" Lawrence walked back to the chopper briskly. "Let's go guys" she commanded and they flew off.

Immediately they left, Zeno rushed Steve and wanted to pick up a fight with him but Buboy and his daughters prevented him.

"You see what you have caused! You nearly put us into trouble with your curiosity!"

"Daddy, stop! It's all my fault!" Stella shouted standing behind her father.

Steve remained quiet gradually moving backward as Buboy pulled him back 2.

"I don't want to ever see you around my daughters again!" Zeno warned him and turned to Stella. He dragged her by the hand moving towards his tent. "How dare you disobey me?!"
he slapped her making her to fall on the sandy ground.

"Daddy, please, forgive her" Thelma pleaded holding her sister on the floor. Seeing that, Steve ran to help Stella up but Zeno pushed him away.

"Didn't i tell you never to see you near my daughters again?!"

"Well, stop beating her. It's my fault" Steve replied.

Zeno ignored him and drag Stella into his tent..

Mr and Mrs Stanley, Celestina and Judeson were still sitting quietly in the sittingroom when Mr Stanley's phone rang. Tears could still be seen on Celestina and Mrs Stanley's faces as Mr Stanley picked up the call bearing a strange number.

"Hello, who's this?" he asked.

"This is nobody" Lawrence replied on the phone..
