Must Read: Loss Of Dignity

They say nobody arranges a room better than a
guy expecting a girl, it’s always advisable to
avoid stepping on the toes of a dyke expecting
a pussi because the effect may just be tragic.
Emeka saw Monica as a cheap girl and the
levels was definately going to click.



The venue was a beehive of activities, it was a
popular open eatery in Lasgidi where people go
to hang out, chill and literally have fun. It had
an open field, a club and a bar restaurant.


The
place was usually stuffed with youth on
sundays from all works of life, most of the
people who patronizes them are youths who
goes there after church service, some girls even
go there with their bible. The place was also
known for its strict rules and fierce looking
bouncers.



Emeka was dressed in a native attire because
he saw no reason why he should dress
coperately because of a cheap a ss biatch. If a
pretty girl of her calibre could woo him in
church then she must be a hit and run
material. He stylishly walked into the venue of
the date and regretted why he didn’t wear one
of his best clothes because the people there
were all beautifully dressed except him who was
rocking native. His appearance could pass for a
pauper. He walked passed the club, bar,
restaurant and stood under a huge tree with
shady branches, his reason for going to the tree
was because he had only N1300 with him and
he did not intend to spend much on such a
cheap girl. He brought out his phone and
dialled Monica’s number, she picked the call
immediately and asked him to be a little bit
patience and she would soon be there. Emeka
was time conscious so he called her 20mins
later and she repeated the same thing. He
called her again in another 7mins time and her
reply remained constant.
Emeka was running out of patience so he made
to leave just then he saw Monica coming from
the entrance, what suprised him was two
hungry looking fat girls walking beside her while
gisting together, he discarded the thought that
the girls were with her because he only invited
Monica for a date. Monica stopped and reached
for her phone in her handbag and dialled a
number while scanning through the place like
she was looking for someone, the two chubby
ladies also stopped and that was when it
dawned on Emeka that he had bought a plot of
land. Just then his began to ring.
“Hello!” emeka said from the other end.
“Where are you? i’m at the place now” monica
enquired.
“Look forward, i’m beside a tree!” emeka said
waiving his hand.
“Come here jor, shy boy!” She said and ended
the call.
Emeka walked up to their stance codedly
thereby changing his walking step.
“Hi ladies!” emeka greeted on getting there.
He had been wrong all along, those babes were
nothing cheap but expensive, they were all
looking posh.
“This is my friend Nancy, and this is Betty”
monica said introducing her entourage to
emeka.
“It’s nice meeting you guys” emeka said
managing to force a smile.
“So you were seeing them off to where?” emeka
enquired.
“C’mon, they came here with me, they were
dying to know that handsome guy i was dating,
or is it wrong if you knew my friends on a date”
monica lamented while emeka was just looking
at them without saying a word.
Emeka didn’t know what she was talking about,
he had barely knew her for 24hours and she
had started broadcasting that they were
dating, he was on a date not a meeting so he
could not decipher why Monica would come
with her friends without informing him.
“Ok, let’s go!” emeka said walking back to the
tree.
“Where are you going jor, let’s go to that eatery
abeg” Monica said while Emeka followed them
like a zombie.
They got to the restaurant and all four of them
sat across a square table while Monica and her
friends place their big hand bags on top the
table. Monica opened her big handbag and
brought out her phone, only her phone and
some makeup materials were inside the big bag
which could contain a 4-year old child. The
waiter came to collect their orders, Monica and
her friends ordered for a plate of rice and
chicken coupled with La casera while Emeka
ordered for soft drink only.
“Won’t you eat rice?” nancy asked emeka.
“No, i’m stuffed already, i ate before leaving
home” emeka replied nonchalantly.
“So what took you guys so long?” Emeka asked
nobody in particular.
“Actually, when monica first told you we were
almost here it was a lie, we were still at home,
you know girls and makeup naw” Betty
revealed the truth while Monica gave her a
scornful look.
Just then Monica also ordered for Suya, Emeka
was just looking in suprise, the person he
thought was cheap was not so cheap afterall, all
they had ordered for was about N3700 and he
had only N1200 with him minus the drink he
ordered for. All this while Monica was not paying
attention to him, she was just pinging with her
phone and laughing. It was a case of player jam
runz girls.
