Mrs peter reluctantly stood up and hugged me, singing “am sorry” same with joeseph, with a smile on his lips “we are back again” he whispered to me. I smiled for the first time in a very long time.

When it was time for chinyere and i to hug, she stood up and walked in slow motion to me, yes like in Nigerian drama, sorry Nigerian film , ours eyes locking into each other, then slowly her soft body embraced mine, we hugged each other. My hands round her waist. I forget people were staring at us.

James walked into the room. He didnt hug me.
He gave me that “we will see later” look.

I returned it back with the ” fvck you look” .

It was clear, he didnt welcme me. He didnt like me from the beginning, neither did i.
mr and mrs peter smiled at us, joseph gave me a thumbs up.
“we are sorry once more” mrs peter said.
“chinyere show him the guest room” she said.

Chinyere happily led me to the room.

Immediately we got in, the first question i asked was “you said you were pregnant, where is the baby?”
