Ivory’s Private Residence – Night
Duane stood in his room, towel around his neck, hair still damp from his shower, when he heard the door open behind him.
Ivory slipped in wearing her nightie, crossing the room quietly to wrap her arms around him from behind, pressing herself against his back.
He didn’t say anything at first. She trailed a slow line of kisses along the back of his neck, and he finally turned around to face her.
“Careful,” he said, a slow smirk spreading across his face. “You’re going to wake up something you might not be ready for.”
Ivory pouted, unbothered by the warning. “Maybe I want it awake. I think I can tame it.”
Something flickered dangerously in his eyes at that. He lifted her off the ground in one smooth motion, capturing her lips in a searing kiss, breath tangling, saliva sharing between them as he carried her toward the bed.
The night unfolded slowly from there, warmth and heat building between them in the quiet privacy of her room.
Duane trailed kisses from her Neck, giving her a deep hickèy immediately, he kissed her stomach, her belly button before placing wet kisses on her entrance. Ivory jerked, hands tangling in his hair, she let out a soft mo@n that fueled Duane more, he kissed the entrance more and more before thrusting in his tongue, teasing her with it, he pushed the tongue hardly sucking up her juice greedily as it wet his tongue. He groaned loudly.
“you are damn sweet…and clean…Ivy”. Ivory jerked more different sounds and tears of pleasure spilling from her mouth and eyes respectively. Duane continued licking cleanly. the rest of the world’s chaos fading entirely into the background for a few precious hours.
Morales Mansion – The Next Morning
Maeve dressed slowly, reaching for an outfit she knew fit her perfectly — only to frown when the fabric hung slightly looser than she remembered, gathering awkwardly at her waist.
I’ve lost weight, she realized, studying herself in the mirror with quiet unease. When did that happen?
Her phone buzzed. A message from her search agent.
Agent: Still nothing on Chester Ben. No records matching that name anywhere in the system. Will continue searching.
Maeve sighed, setting the phone down. Maybe Mom isn’t lying, she thought. Maybe he really is dead. Maybe that’s why there’s nothing left of him to find.
She pushed the thought aside, dread pooling low in her stomach as she thought instead of where she actually had to go that day.
Golden High – Noon
Luis and Hazel walked toward the cafeteria together, Hazel insisting on holding his hand the entire way, swinging their joined hands lightly between them.
Princess appeared suddenly, stepping directly into their path with a polished, deliberate smile.
“Hazel, would you mind stepping aside? I need to speak with Luis. Alone.”
“He doesn’t want to talk to you,” Hazel said flatly, not even slowing her pace, tightening her grip on Luis’s hand and steering him firmly around Princess entirely.
Princess’s smile faltered, jaw tightening as she watched them walk away without a backward glance.
Inside the cafeteria, Eloise was already deep into her lunch, eating with the kind of unrestrained enthusiasm that made Jason laugh every single time he watched her.
“Slow down, you’re going to choke,” he teased, reaching over to gently tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Eloise paused mid-bite, cheeks warming slightly at the small gesture, though she covered it by shoving another forkful into her mouth immediately after.
Ivy Fashion Empire – Afternoon
Ivory emerged from a grueling meeting looking thoroughly drained, rubbing at her temples as she made her way back toward her office.
Duane was waiting for her there, coffee already prepared exactly the way she liked it.
“You look exhausted,” he said, setting the cup down in front of her.
“I am,” she admitted, sinking into her chair.
He crossed around the desk, tilted her chin up gently, and kissed her — slow, deep, unhurried.
“Kisses relieve stress,” he said simply, pulling back with a small grin.
Ivory rolled her eyes, though a genuine smile had already broken through despite herself. “Is that actual science, or something you just made up?”
“Does it matter?” he said, and kissed her again before she could argue further.
Curtis Residence – Afternoon
Maeve arrived exactly as instructed, dread sitting heavy in her stomach the entire drive over.
Curtis met her at the door, and without preamble, carried her straight to the bathroom, running the shower with both of them still fully clothed, water soaking through fabric within seconds.
“You come here whenever I say,” he murmured against her ear, pressing her against the tiled wall, “and those tapes stay exactly where they are. Buried. Understood?”
Maeve said nothing, jaw clenched, humiliation and fear tangling together as she endured what came next, the sound of running water doing little to mask the sounds that followed. He entered from behind.
Smiley’s Restaurant – Noon
Sloane stood behind her nearly empty counter, surveying her half-full dining room with mounting frustration.
“We’ve lost so many regulars this month,” one of her servers reported nervously. “They’re all going to that new place. Este’s. People say the food’s better than ours.”
Sloane’s jaw tightened, old resentment flaring hot and immediate.
Better than mine? she thought bitterly. We’ll see about that.
A plan began forming in her mind, dark and calculated. If people got sick — badly sick — from eating at that new restaurant, word would spread fast. Customers would flee back to safety. Back to her.
I just need someone on the inside, she thought, eyes narrowing. Someone working there. Someone I can convince, or pay, or threaten into helping me.
She reached for her phone, already scheming.
Este’s Restaurant – Same Time
Hannah, Celeste’s newly hired helper, moved through the restaurant with a bright, genuine smile, carrying plates to eager customers with practiced efficiency.
She loved this job. Loved Celeste, loved the warmth of the kitchen, loved the steady, honest work that felt nothing like the string of miserable jobs she’d cycled through before landing here.
I never want to leave this place, she thought, delivering another plate with a cheerful smile.
Celeste plated another order behind the counter, glancing up to watch Hannah work with quiet pride.
“You’re a natural at this,” Celeste called over.
“I love it here,” Hannah called back, beaming, completely unaware of the danger quietly circling their small, thriving restaurant.
A Police Station – Afternoon
Emilia sat across from a detective, arms crossed defiantly, denying everything with practiced, icy composure.
“I don’t know what Sadie’s talking about,” she said flatly. “She’s clearly making things up. Maybe out of jealousy. Maybe guilt over something else entirely. I had nothing to do with what happened to Hazel Bennett.”
The detective studied her closely, unconvinced, sliding a folder across the table. “We have Sadie’s full statement. We have security footage under review. I’d advise you to reconsider your position, Ms.—”
“I want a lawyer,” Emilia snapped, cutting him off entirely, jaw tight, eyes hard.
The detective simply nodded and stood, leaving her alone in the room, though her composure cracked slightly the moment the door shut behind him.
Bennett Group of Companies – Afternoon
Mr. Graham Hale arrived with considerable fanfare, flanked by a small entourage of security and assistants, his wife beside him looking every bit as polished and composed as he did.
Hale was tall, silver-haired despite his relatively young appearance, sharp-featured with an easy, confident smile that had clearly closed a thousand deals before this one. His wife, elegant and striking, moved beside him with the quiet authority of someone equally accustomed to boardrooms and headlines.
Arthur greeted them warmly, ushering the group into the main conference office, where introductions and pleasantries gave way quickly to serious business discussion.
Diana, seated near the head of the table, found her attention repeatedly drawn to Hale’s face throughout the meeting, a strange, nagging familiarity tugging at the edges of her memory.
I’ve seen a young version of him before, she thought, studying the line of his jaw, the particular way he tilted his head when he spoke. But where?
She couldn’t place it, and eventually shook the thought off, returning her focus to the negotiations unfolding across the table, though the feeling lingered stubbornly at the back of her mind.
Abigail’s Mansion – Night
Tyler sat comfortably on the couch, Abigail curled against him, a half-eaten bowl of popcorn balanced precariously between them, spilling slightly with every burst of laughter neither of them bothered to stop.
The movie played on, mostly ignored, both of them far more interested in stealing glances at each other, in the simple, quiet joy of an ordinary night together after everything they’d nearly lost.
“I could stay like this forever,”
Abigail murmured, snuggling closer.
“Then let’s stay like this forever,” Tyler said, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.
Ivory’s Private Residence – Night
Ivory pushed open Duane’s bedroom door, expecting to find him already dressed for bed.
Instead, she found him fresh out of the shower, wearing absolutely nothing at all, water still glistening faintly against his skin in the dim lamplight.
Her eyes went wide, breath catching audibly in her throat.
He’s too hot, she thought, momentarily forgetting how to form words entirely.
Duane, catching her reaction, began moving toward her slowly, a slow, knowing smirk spreading across his face.
Ivory instinctively took a small step backward.
“Wrong timing,” he said, voice low, eyes never once leaving hers as he continued closing the distance between them.
Her eyes widened further with every step he took, her back finally meeting the wall behind her.
“Congratulations,” he murmured, finally reaching her, close enough now that she could feel the warmth radiating off him. “You woke the demon up.”
Ivory’s gaze dropped, sweeping slowly from his face all the way down his thighs, she quickly looked away, and back again. thinking she has never seen somethjng like that all her life, to big, veiny ang huge.
He finally got to her. His D fully stretched.
“Holy fuckin’ hellish shit,” she muttered under her breath, staring at him.
