I sat on the hospital bed as the doctor prescribed how I would be taking my drugs every day.

” so how are you feeling Mrs Rico Shawn??” the doctor asked.

” better” I replied

” Don’t worry mam, the injuries would heal quicker than you would expect and sir Rico would help you take your bath”

” what!!!!!!!” I and Rico yelled, the doctor looked at us in surprise

” don’t you guys maybe bath together, you are married right”

” hmmmmm yeah, we screamed because I just saw a rat in the room, I’m so going to sue this hospital” Rico said then I nodded positively

” I’m so sorry, we would do something about it now” he said then quickly walked out of the room.

” you are such a big liar” I said the he roll his eyes, I know he will always be a jerk

” you know I will never bath you”

” I wasn’t asking for your help” I said

” I knew you where the one who poured that medicine inside my water” I added

” I wasn’t, it was that stupid and rude maid” he said

” which maid??” I asked

” the one that was rude to you and you never told me about it” that f*****g maid

” what did you do about it??” I asked

” I sacked her” he said

” that serves her right”

Jasmine POV

I looked at the pregnancy kit and it was showing two lines again, I have tried this thing more than ten times with different pregnancy kit, I can’t be pregnant, my dad is going to kill me.

I have been feeling sick for the past few days and one of my closest friend told me about the pregnancy test I kinda disagreed but I decided to try it and it came out positive, I’m so dead I really need to tell Cole about this!!. I took my phone then quickly called Cole, he answered almost immediately

” babe” he called from the other side of the phone

” Cole” I called nervously

” what’s wrong Jasmine did your dad hurt you??” he asked

” no, he didn’t do anything but I really want to talk to you about something and it is really important”

” where are we going to meet??” he asked

” I would text you the address” I said

Cole looked at me anxiously

” tell me Jasmine, what’s wrong??” he asked, I hope he doesn’t regret anything

” Cole, I think I’m pregnant” I said, he stare at me for a while then smiled

” you think or you are??” he asked

” I am” I said

” that’s good news babe, although I didn’t plan of becoming a father sooner but I am happy that it is coming from you” he said happily

” yeah, I know that is good news but……..

” is it about school, don’t worry about that maybe if the baby is born, you can continue with school while I take care of our baby” he said cutting me short, I like how he called it our baby

” that is not the problem, Cole”

” then what is it??” he asked

” my parents, they are the problems, Rico is the bigger problem he is obviously going to make it worse”

” I would talk to Bethel about it, maybe bethel can calm Rico down and if Rico isn’t angry about it your dad won’t that be angry since he likes and always obey Rico” Cole said, it actually made sense

” we are definitely not going to abort our baby” he said then I quickly hug him

” I love you” I said

” I love you more” he said then kissed me

bethel POV

” get back here Rico” I yelled following Rico around the sitting room

“No bethel, why would I have to make you water that you would use to bath!” he yelled.

“Remember the doctor told us that you should bath me as a woman that have a lot of brain, I decided you would make my water and you are running, fucking running to where?”

“I wish you just stayed in that coma for another year”

“you are crazy, I actually heard that you were crying so much that you also have to go coma for 2 weeks for crying too much.” I said as he looked at me weirdly.

“Your lies disgust me.” I said then his phone started ringing.

” Who the hell is calling me” he said as he angrily took his phone then he smiled and answered it.

” uncle James” he called smiling

he talked, talked, talked talked, until he finally squeezed his face looking at me with a deadly glare….. Why is he staring at me like that I didn’t do anything . He angrily ended the call then he kept looking at me then started coming a little bit too close to me then he stared at me for a short while

“Your f****g beat friend impregnated my cousin” I yelled angrily at my face I was shocked for a moment , Jasmine is pregnant for Cole.

“Wow that is good news”I said then he angrily threw his phone on the floor

“That is good news ???” he asked frowning

“She is a collage kid not ready for marriage talk less a kid, she is just nineteen (19)”

” that phone is pretty expensive” I said ignoring what he was saying

” shut the f**k up bethel” he said then went upstairs, thank God all the maid went home for some few days

” f**k you Rico” I yelled but I guess he didn’t hear me

” f**k you too bethel” he yelled, he always win

Rico Shawn POV

” you really need to calm down sometimes” bethel said

” shut up bethel, you are making everything worse” I said then she roll her eyes. I drove into uncle James compound then I came out of the car.

” wait, what are you gonna do about it, she is already pregnant, she is going to be a mum 8 or 9 months from now and they is nothing you can do about it” bethel said angrily

” it’s not too late to abort the baby” I said as bethel looked at me shocked

” that is not going to happen, read my lips do you know you are about to kill an innocent baby??” she asked

” bethel, don’t start”

” Rico your mum didn’t kill you and I heard she was only nineteen when she gave birth to you” I stare at her, why do I have to agree to her , do not agree with her but I think I can’t she touched my back as the stare into my eyes, her eyes just seems to calm me down…..
