In that moment, Luan pushed me unto his bed furiously. His face was in a foul mood and it was evident that he was angry about what I had just said. I swallowed hard as I saw the angry look in his eyes and I knew I was in trouble.

Luan DON’T YOU EVER CALL MY SISTER THAT WORD!! Who the hell do you think you are? Just because you’re my employer doesn’t give you the right to insult those that are dear to me. You know very well that your husband isn’t a good man, he controls you with fear and makes life unbearable for you and everyone else in the farm house and yet you choose to defend him. Your husband has tried on many occasions to force himself on Marian but she has managed to escape him but I’m afraid she can’t do this forever.

There’s a wolf in your house Elizabeth and if you don’t do something, everyone will suffer the consequences. I don’t care if you believe me or not ; I’ve already told you what you need to know. It’s up to you to decided whether to act or not and whatever you do, don’t confront your husband about this else he’ll be the last thing you ever see in this world. I felt a cold chill down my spine after I heard that. Luan’s tone was serious and he meant every word he said. I sat transfixed on the bed feeling confused cause I didn’t know what to believe. Everything was just jammed in my cerebrum and my mind was tasked with debating which one was real and which one was fabricated.

Luan sat on the edge of the bed with his back turned at me, I wanted to apologize to him but the words wouldn’t come out. Without uttering any word, I quietly got out of the bed and left the house ; even when I headed back to Erica’s place, I turned around and looked back a couple of times at Luan’s house.

It was sad really that things didn’t end well between us. I couldn’t even get the chance to tell him that I was carrying his child. I could have believed Luan if he had told a different story but this was just too much for me to take in.

Just as I was about to reach Erica’s place, I saw her talking to 3 men who had parked their car right next to her and as I got closer, I realized that it was Anderson and his colleagues.

Major You’re such a fine woman, Mrs..

Major Erica.. Hmm, such a fine name go to with a fine face.

Erica (blushing) Oh please stop that. It’s rude to flirt with a woman on the first day of meeting. What’s your name handsome? It’s seems you and your friends are new around here.

Major Indeed we are. My name is Wilheim and this are Dolph and Horst.

Wilhelm!? I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard that. It was a German name but what surprised me was the way Anderson was flirting with Erica. It’s a good thing I never introduced them both cause I wouldn’t have seen his true nature if he knew Erica was my friend. I never knew the b-stard was a two timer . It seems that Luan was right but then could it be that he was right about Anderson being a traitor??.

There’s something fishy about this whole thing and it seems that I’m the only one in the dark but I’m going to find out what it is. In that very moment, I quietly moved back and headed back to Luan’s place to get some more information.
