Women! they’re so so annoying at times. Whatever you do for their sake, they always manage to make your efforts seem worthless or try to find some fault in the struggle you’ve gone through. They’re really unappreciative and selfish in their own judgement.

After Elizabeth left, I laid on my bed thinking about the argument we had moments ago. I was glad to see her after all this weeks but I’m at her for not believing what I just told her. It should be obvious for her to see the signs ; doesn’t she think that I loved staying in this slum for weeks hiding away from her miserable husband. I don’t care if she doesn’t believe me, she can go on and live with her traitorous husband for all I care ; although I hope she won’t be stupid enough to tell him what I just told her.

Moments later, I got out of bed and went outside to ease myself. The toilet in my house was in a very bad shape, so I used the bushes a few meters behind my house to pass out fluid waste or faeces ; whenever I was to bath , I would go to the river.

While I was urinating peacefully in the bushes , I heard some noises inside the house and I thought that someone was going to rob . I quickly rushed back into the house as soon as I was done and by the time I got there, I saw Elizabeth standing in the room. She looked a little bit shaken not to mention the look of shock on her face. I said nothing to her, all I did was stare and wait for her to say something.

Elizabeth Luan… I… I… I want to talk to you. Please hear me out .

Elizabeth I know you’re angry and you have every right to be. I should have listened to you and now I don’t know what to do.
