PREVIOUSLY ON EXTRACTION

Then he walked past me and picked up the photograph..

His expression changed…

He knows her….

“That b---h…”he groaned squeezing the picture…

“Ooohhh my gosh!!!!”I muttered…

“I’m the father…”Fabian blurted out…

Immediately, the door swung open..

“Hello fabby”a feminine voice spoke up and I turned around..

“Patricia…”Travis exclaimed..

And I averted my gun towards her direction aiming at her leg, I shot her and she slumped on the floor groaning in pain…

FABIAN’S POV

“Australia???”I mumbled..

That was the same place I took Patricia to..

The same place I disflowered her..

Could she be the same Patricia panel is talking about???

I walked past Nissi and I bent down to picked up the picture…

I saw her…

My worst mistake…

“That b---h…”i groaned squeezing the picture..

She fooled me..

I knew something was fishy about her…

She drugged me that night…

That’s the reason I could barely recall what happened between us .

She lied to me…

“Ooohhh my gosh…”Nissi exclaimed

And I tilted my head to face her..

I disflowered Nissi…

“I’m the father…”i blurted out..

Treasure is my daughter…

I’m a dad….

Immediately, the door swung open..

“Hello fabby”a familiar voice spoke up and I angrily turned around..

“Patricia…”Travis exclaimed..

I stormed towards her but before I could yell at her, Nissi shot her leg..

And she slumped on the floor groaning in pain…

While I halted…

I can’t risk getting shot right now..

Patricia cried loudly silencing Panel’s sobbing….

I stood in humour and rage staring at Patricia…

“Are you mad…”Patricia cried out…

“Yes…”Nissi replied walking closer towards her…

“Welcome to the party..”Nissi said swinging her gun…

She halted standing an inch away from Patricia..

“Thank you for sparing me the trouble of fishing you out Patricia…”Nissi giggled evily…

“I’ll call the cops you crazy psychopath..”Patricia threatened..

“Please do…”Nissi replied sharply…

Please don’t…

“You ruined my life… You cheated me.. You separated a mother from her child.. I’ll separate you from the pleasure of this world…”Nissi threatened her…

Her eyes flaming in rage…

“What is this crazy b---h talking about???”Patricia groaned…

Nissi laughed manically..

“I am crazy…”She laughed out as tears falls down from her eyes…

“Take this crazy woman out of my sight…”Patricia cried out holding her bleeding leg…

Nissi angrily shot her second foot..

“You b---h…”Patricia groaned loudly and Nissi replied her again with another bullet on the same foot…

“Stop insulting her…”Travis shouted…

“Drop the d--n gun, Nisei…”Travis yelled..

“Stop yelling at me.. I’m furious..”Nissi yelled back…

Nissi whole body started to vibrate..

I wanted to reach out for her but I couldn’t..

It’s like there’s a bridge separating us…

Actually, I’m scared of making a move…

“You ruined my life…”Nissi muttered

“You destroyed my life…”Nissi muttered..

“She knows the god-damned truth now…”Panel shouted…

“We all do…”I finally spoke up..

Patricia shoulder dropped…

I wish I was able to hit a woman…

I would have strangled her….

“Why???”I asked..

“I wanted you to value me.. I wanted to enjoy the fame.. I wanted to keep the game going..”Patricia replied groaning in pain…

“By gambling with my life… You must be mad..”Nissi shouted…

Travis pulled the gun away from her..

He lifted her off the ground and carried her to sit on the couch

Mr Brown rushed to her embracing her tightly..

I pulled out my phone from my pocket as I called the cops…

I requested they come immediately to my house…

“You shouldn’t have call the cops here now, they’ll also arrest Nisei..”Jayden grumbled…

They won’t..

I won’t let them take my child’s mother away..

‘Why am I so protective of her, suddenly???’i asked myself…

Travis helped to dress Patricia’s injury before the cops arrived..

Mr Brown had also called the deputy commissioner to file a case to human trafficking against Patricia and Panel…

I told the cops that Nissi shot them out of self defense and everyone at home agreed to it…

Nissi haven’t said a word since Patricia and Panel were arrested..

“I’m taking her home”Travis announced…

I wanted to protest but Mr Brown told Travis to take care of her…

“I’ve never seen her so angry like that..”Jayden murmured..

“We just did…”I muttered to myself..

Fighting the urge to go after her…

TRAVIS’ POV

Nisei dozed off on our way back home.. She looks really exhausted..

I carried her inside gently upstairs to her room…

“Is my mommy okay??”Treasure asked as she caressed Nisei’s feet..

“Yes.. She’s just tired…”I replied..

“I’ve she found my daddy??”Her question shocked me..

“How did you know about that??”I asked her glaring at James who seems to have no idea..

“I overheard everything last night.. I know the truth now and I’m very happy that she’s my momma..”Treasure said…

“But I need to see my daddy…”She added

“Your mom will take you to him soon..”James replied her..

“Let us step outside for while..”James added….

I made lunch for…

After eating we decided to watch a movie.. Treasure’s choice actually..

She fell asleep laying her head on my lap…

“What happened over there???”James asked

“Alot..”I replied..

“I need full details…”James said..

And I explained everything that happened and how the conspiracy was hatched again Nisei…

“I can’t believe she shot them..”James said in disbelief.

“I witnessed it myself.. She was bizzare.. Her eyes were flaming with rage. Even though she was weak, she did not relent.. She was kinda scaring”I emphasized…

“Now there’s surely a string between Fabian and Nisei..”James said..

“There sure is… But I know she won’t deprive him of their child’s custody…”I said

“Don’t you think Treasure is capable of bringing them back…??”I asked..

“Nope…”he replied stressing the ‘p’

“How would I even Know.. You’re the therapist..”he added

“But I’m not a psychologist nor do I read mind…”I chipped in sharply…

“I want her to be happy, if Fabian can bring back her smile then I’ll forgive him for hurting her and I’ll be very very happy…”

“That’s an impossible wish…”james murmured…

“The press won’t keep ranting about this issue unless Nisei and Fabian grant them an interview”said James..

“One of the demerit of being a celebrity..”I cursed under breath

NISSI’S POV

I took Treasure to my parent house…

I told them everything that happened..

My dad looks disappointed in me but he accepted my child..

I also had to tell Paul and Pauline before they finds out..

Fabian and I had an interview with the press.. We explained everything to them and some of the reporter gave me a sympathetic look..

I just wake off their sentimental glare…

Treasure actually handled the news better than I thought she would…

She’s thrilled to meet her father..

“Mom are you going to send me away to my dad??”Treasure asked me for the third time..

“My answer still remains the same.. No child.. Though you get to spend quality time with him.. I won’t deprive you of that because he’s ya daddy…”I replied…

“But I want to live with both of you together as a family…”She grumbled

“That’s not possible child…”

I don’t love him…

I despise him alot because he rejected me…

He doesn’t need me in his life.

Neither do I …

I have Travis…

What more can I ask for???

I’m happy….

“Let’s go…”I said grabbing her pack bag..

I saw Mr Thomas hiding behind the counter…

“Mr Thomas…”I called out..

His colleagues pushed him out…

“Hey Thomas…”Treasure said waving at him..

“How are you princess??”he asked her..

“Perfectly… Fine”she replied..

“Thank you so much, Thomas… You installed good manners in her…”I appreciated him before walking away holding Treasure’s hand who was waving at him and he waved her back…

Janette’s desk was empty, so I just gave a slight knock on Fabian’s office door…

The door swinged open by Janette..

“Good morning”She spoke up..

“Dad….”Treasure shouted as she ran towards him happily…

“Morning..”I finally replied Janette..

She smiled before walking out of the door…

I walked inside and I dropped Treasure’s bag on his desk…

“If you’re less busy drop her off in the evening at my office before 4:30pm, if you’re not there before then I’ll come by myself to pick her up..”I said…

“That’s okay by me but i need to talk to you..”he said setting Treasure on his lap..

“Baby, Can you step outside for a while..???”I asked Treasure..

“Sure mom…”She jumped down from his lap..

“You’ll see that aunt by that empty desk we saw a moment ago… Stay with her”I instructed

“Okay mom…”she murmured running off…

“What do you wanna talk about???”I asked staring at my wrist watch briefly…

His time starts now…

“About our daughter…”he started off but I cut in…

“I’m not gonna separate you from her life.. We are both sharing the responsibilities… My lawyer will bring the papers once its done…”

“Ooohhh!!”he exclaimed..

“Thanks… And I also wanna apologise for everything especially for what Patricia did to you…”

“You were also a pun in this twisted game.. We are both victims..You don’t need to apologise to me.. Everything happened for a reason..

Thank God they did not poison me or drugged me to loose my child.. She’s a blessing…”

“She sure is.. I won’t fail her”he said..

“You better don’t… See ya later..”I said turning around as I walked out of his office…

FABIAN’S POV

“Janette, they’re on their way here.. I need everything to be ready before they arrive…”I said closing my private chamber’s door…

She smiled sheepishly at me

“Yes sir…”she replied

“Thanks alot.. I’m giving you a bonus for the job weldone..”I said as I sat down on my chair..

“I’m happy to see you so happy Sir..”Janette murmured

“Thanks alot… I’m just overwhelmed with joy of being a father..”I said happily..

Suddenly I heard a slight knock on my door…

I glanced at my laptop and smiled..

“They are here..!!!”I exclaimed happily…

I composed myself as Janette walked towards the door to usher them in…

“Dad….”Treasure shouted as she rushed to embrace me happily…

“My princess…!!”I exclaimed embracing her tightly…

She smells just like her momma..

I miss this lovely fragrance..

Nissi walked inside and dropped Treasure’s bag on my desk…

I miss her lips so much..

I got lost again by the movement of her lips while she was saying something to Treasure who runs off happily…

‘why am I craving badly for her??’i asked myself…

“What do you wanna talk about???”she asked staring at her wrist watch briefly…

She’s probably telling me that she doesn’t have much time..

“About our daughter…”I started off but she cut in interruptedly…

“I’m not gonna separate you from her life.. We are both sharing the responsibilities… My lawyer will bring the papers once its done…”she explained…

“Ooohhh!!”I exclaimed..

If only I did not ruin our deal, we would have being together, we would have taken our extraction to a whole new different level for our daughter…

But I can’t love and you hate me…

“I miss you.. I miss your lips, I miss your juice, I miss feeling you beside me, I miss the feeling of being buried deeply inside you. I miss your laughter….”I thought out loud…

But I can’t say all these things to your face…

I miss you badly….

“Daddy!!!”Treasure tapped me..

“Ooohhh!! Sorry love..”I pecked her..

“It’s okay.. I understand… So what are we gonna do today??”She asked me… She looks so much like Nissi

“We’re going to see my father after then we’re going to the park and any place you want to go..”

“That sound like a nice plan… As long as I get to lick ice-cream…”

“But first I would like us to get to know each other.. Like what’s your favorite food, color, snack… Everything about you..”

“Easy dad!! You’re kinda overwhelming with much questions…”She used her hand to fan herself…

But the AC is on…

“Is there a problem??”I asked worriedly

“Nah!!”she giggled..

” I love pink color, I love cupcakes and cookies but I go crazy for cake… I love vanilla ice-cream and chocolate ice-cream..

I’m not allergic to anything..

I love sandwiches..

This is all I can tell you…

You have to find out the rest yourself..”

“Okay boss… Thanks..”

“But why don’t you wanna tell me everything about yourself, do you have a secret??”

“I sure do… I’m good at keeping secrets, I only break them if necessary… I hadly break my promise only on rare occasion…”She replied…

“Why aren’t you and Mom friends again???”She surprisingly asked

“That’s between the adult..”

“I’m way matured than most adult..”she defended..

“I know you are… But my relationship with your mom is complicated..”I tried to explain but can’t find the right words to use…

What is wrong with me??

“Really??? Were you guys dating??? Did you break up??”she bombarded me with questions…

“We weren’t dating.. We just had a mutual understanding, which was the base of our relationship but it crumbled along the way.. To be honest, I walked away from her..”I stated sincerely…

Explaining it to her, surprisingly hurts me alot..

“Did she love you?? Or Did you love someone else??”she asked glaring at me mischievously…

“I can’t answer that… You shouldn’t be asking such questions about your parent..”I tried to change the topic..

“That’s the more reason, I’m curious daddy… I don’t want you guys to share me… I wanna live with both of you, like I did with Thomas..

I want my Happy family, daddy..”

“I wish I could give that to you princess… But I can’t, your mom hates me because I couldn’t love her back… I can’t love…”I blurted out.

“Ooohhh!!”She exclaimed

“But you wish to love her back??”she questioned…

“Yeah!!! For you princess, I’ll do anything to make you happy”

“Then you have to love mommy… You have to give me a happy family.. My greatest wish, if to live happily with my parent…”

She’s way too matured for her age…

“I can’t love your mom… I can’t love anyone…”

“So you don’t love me??”she asked frowning..

“I love you…”I proclaimed….

“Good!! That means you can also love mommy…

You gat to win her back…”

“I’ve got to win her back??’i questioned…

“Yeah!!! You gat to win her back before it’s too late to be together..”her tune depicting sadness…

“What do you mean???”I asked and she gasped…

Looking shocked…

She looks like she about to reveal some kind of secret…

“It’s a secret dad… You can’t know about it..”She replied…

“If it’s about your mom, it shouldn’t be a secret between us because you asked me to Patch up things with her… You’re gonna tell me the secret or no Happy family”I blackmailed…

“That’s not fair dad.. I made a promise… You can’t back down on your words now..”She snapped..

“I did not promise you anything… Please…. Tell me…”I pleaded..

“Mom is dating Travis… She’s in love with him now and he’s crazy about her”she blurted out and my heart missed a beat…

How can she love him???

Why now??

“How do you expect me to woe her so easily… She’s in love…”I shouted.

And she hates me…

But I don’t hate her…

“I like her…”I muttered to myself..

“You do???”Treasure asked rasing her eyebrow curiously at me..

“Hmm… I guess so…”

“You shouldn’t guess… You should be certain daddy…”

“This is awkward…”I whispered to myself..

How can I like her now that she hates me??

Why would she be dating that doctor guy, Travis??

She loves him..

Why??

How can she love him so easily???

Is it that easy to love someone??

My heart throbbing increased…

“Ooohhh!! Daddy, go after her before it’s too late…”Treasure snapped her fingers at me..

“But we had plans together…”I grumbled trying to back out…

I’m feeling hurt…

My heart is arching me…

“We can hangout later.. Tell my mom you like her and you want us to be a family…”

Nope, I can’t do that…

But I like her alot.. More than I’ll admit…

She loves Travis…

How can I win her over???

“Daddy!!!! Go to mommy now, I’ll help you…. Get up, let’s go…”She stood up, pulling me forcefully to stand on my feet..

“Okay..”I stated grabbing my keys..

It’s time to fulfill my daughter’s wish.

I hope she forgives me….

But my head is arching…

“I’ll wait here for you, in the car…”Treasure spoke up..

“Why would you do that??? You said you’ll help me???”I grumbled

“I’ll… But you have to make the first move..”She replied and relunctanly I stepped out of the door…

I’ve never been to her office before…

I walked majestically into the estate..

I asked the security man for directives…

I’m kinda having cold feet but I waved off the feeling..

I stepped out of the elevator, her secretary desk was empty…

So I Forged ahead to her office…

I heard murmuring but the voices was not that clear…

I raised my hand to knock, that’s when I realized that the door was slightly open…

Curiousity gets the best of me…

I peeped through the open space looking inside her office…

Her office looks elegant..

“Let’s not argue about this again, Travis…”Nissi said sitting down on her desk massaging her head…

What are they talking about??

“I thought you wanted me to be happy, do this for me, please…”I heard Travis begging…

He whispered something to her..

“Travis, please don’t ask this for me… You know how mad I felt when I thought I was pregnant for him… I hate him so much.. He rejected me, he used me, Travis…”she lamented…

She hates me so much…

“I know but as your therapist I want you to heal completely… I need a healthy relationship from you .. I can’t loose you too, I love you so much Nisei…”He stood before her, his back facing me…

“I love you too, Travis…”Nissi replied as she embraced him…

I stepped backwards, as my heart throbbing fastened…

I’m suddenly feeling suffocated..

A sudden urge to cry filled me..

What is happening to me???

Why am I feeling so sad???

My head is arching me…

My heart….

I heard a familiar voice calling out for me, but I couldn’t answer back..

I’m having an attack…

My chest feels too tight as I groaned loudly..

The pain increases as everything became blurry..

The pain in my chest increased and at the same time I’m having difficulties in breathing..

My heart throbbing reduces immensely as everything suddenly became dark….
