Cristine’s Pov:

My heart beats faster as our lips drew more closer to each others.

Our lips met and we hungrily kssed each other passionately.

But then I quickly disengaged the kss immediately.

He was dead drunk

I rushed out of the room slamming the door.

“Cristine! I love you” I heard him say in his drunken state.

My face beamed with smiles as I walked calculably into my room.

I sat on the bed as I touched my lips and my face curved to a smile.

“I just hope he doesn’t remember this by tomorrow” I said as I quickly hugged the pillow lost in thought.

But why did he say he loves me?

Was it because he is drunk?

Does he really mean what he said?

I scratched my head in confusion.

Why am I so interested in this guy?

I smiled at nothing in particular.

I stared at the ceiling absentmindedly until I slept off.

It was a Sunday morning….

?5:00am?

My alarm clock rang noisily.

I grumbled noisily as I made for the alarm clock and switched it off.

I covered myself with the duvet properly and slept off again.

The sun rays directly from my window to my eyes.

I yawned tiredly as I rubbed my eyes.

I inhaled deeply as I stretched myself tiredly.

I managed to drag myself up.

My stomach grumbled noisily…. Am very famished

And am freaking tired too…. I can’t even cook right now cos am tired.

I walked into my bathroom and washed my face thoroughly in the sink.

And I brushed my teeth too.

I opened my door and walked out.

Suddenly, I started perceiving the aroma of a very palatable meal.

My mouth watered.

“Maybe it’s coming from the other duplex” I thought and shrugged.

“Good morning!” A manly voice said as I flinched in fear.

I turned around in shock.

My jaw dropped in awe.

I already forgot I had a guest at the guest room.

“Good morning” I mumbled

“I made breakfast…. It’s boiled yam and egg tomato sauce” He said as my face beamed with smiles.

But I quickly pretended.

I can’t let him find out that am very happy.

“Whatever! I didn’t ask you to” I said pretentiously as I sat on the dinning chair.

He only shrugged.

I dished out the food immediately.

Mehn…. Am very famished ?

I spooned the sauce into my mouth and nodded my head.

Jeez! This guy is such a good cook ?

I licked my lips.

But I managed to pretend.

He didn’t say a word but he kept smiling.

“Uhmm… Can you recall what happened last night?” I asked with my eyes focused on the plate of sauce.

He stopped eating and looked confused.

Phew!

Thank goodness!!

That’s enough sign that he doesn’t ?

“What happened last night?” He asked anxiously

I shook my head.

“Nothing!” I said as he nodded.

“When are you leaving?” I asked

The truth is that I don’t even want him to leave.

“Now” He said as I arched my eyebrows in confusion and stared at him.

I managed to hold myself….

I expected him to be like “I DON’T WANT TO GO YET”.

I turned my face away as he quickly got up from the chair.

“Where are you going?” I asked anxiously

“Thank you for your kindness! Am leaving like you wanted me to” He said as he walked upstairs.

“But I don’t want you to…..” I tried saying

“Fine! Leave!!” I said though that was untrue.
