“cheers guys!” Dave stood up raising his cup the highest.

“cheers! ” we chorused as we clanged cups and our drinks spilled.

“so guys, there’s good news” I announced as I gulped down My drink. I winked at Tony and he gave me a dissaproving look.

“what? You laid your five dollars Parent? ” Favy chipped from across the table.

“the otherway Favy, he robbed his parent!” Dave offered.

“it’s so unfair of you guys ” Tony accused patting my back.

“it’s actually a good news” I said again.

“let’s hear it already!” Favy impatiently spoke.

“Tony has just gotten new parents and Mehn I tell you, it’s a 20 dollars family” I announced happily.

“what the? Are you kidding me right now?” Favy questioned doubtfully More like surprised.

“man,i ain’t kidding you, it’s the real deal ”

I pressed futher.

“that’s a hit and score there fool” Dave joked congratulating him.

“A big one” I offered

All the while, Tony kept grinning. It was actually a big score. We actually quited job hunting but we still didn’t forget to do some show ups at available shops or houses.

Obviously, everyone was surprised, I’m still surprised though.

Favy pulled his chair and sat next to Tony.

“tell me man, how did you do it?

“‘member the Jefferson’s house? ”

“yeah, ”

“well, I saw a poster and when I read through, it’s a lawn Cleaning shit and I went in. ” he explained as he poured another drink for himself.

“you know it’s on you tonight Tony” Dave announced loudly pointing a fork at Tony.

“normal… ” I reasoned along.

“that’s right dude… On you! ” Favy joined in too.

“you dickheads. Never begun cutting grasses and driving the mower ” Tony fired back.

” eight diet cokes please!” Favy called to the bar girl. “look, we know, but we don’t wanna care ”

“cheers everyone! ” I shouted as I stood up raising my cup the highest now.

“To Tony! “Dave added.

“To drinks! ” Favy chipped in.

I shoved my shoes off my feet as I rolled away loitering clothes from off my bed.

Tonight was a good night, really good.

I wanted a job too but there wasn’t, it’s all taken more like Occupied.

I stirred in bed for few minutes and when sleep wouldn’t come, I stood up and made for the kitchen.

I flung the freezer open in search for any eatable relic aand luckily, I got a fried chicken with a cold juice. I arranged them on a tray and I dropped it on the dinning table. Quickly, I went back to close the freezer. I shut the door carefully and as I turned to leave, a flyer advert fell off from the top of the freezer, I picked it up And I went back to dining.

At the dinning, I read the informations on the flyer and it’s From a driving company that supplies drivers. I can drive alright Infact, I was once a street racer. I really hadn’t given it a thought tho But what do you say I give it a try?

“hmm hmm ” I moaned as I threw a piece of meat to my dog.

“I should check it out right? ” I soliloqized as I stared into my juice.

“yeah I certainly should… ”

And with that, I slept off
