A Twist of Fate - S02 E05

Onochie and Charles drove home, they alighted

from the car and walked inside. The Igwe and

Lolo was still in the sitting room. Charles

greeted but Onochie ignored them…

“So, it is beacause of a nobody that you

misbehave and reject royalty Onochie” Igwe

said and Onochie stopped

“That common girl!!!” Igwe exclaimed

“Don’t call her a common girl dad. I don’t know

how you knew about this but dad, she is the girl

I love and Cherish” Onochie said

“Shut you mouth!!” Igwe ordered

“How dare you talk when I am talking?” Igwe

yelled at him. Lolo was aside pleading silently

“You disobeyed me because of a commoner

that don’t even mean anything” Igwe said

“Dad, with due respect. She is a human being

like you and me.” Onochie said with an

understandable voice

“That is rubbish.. Nonsense. You won’t and will

never marry that girl and that is final!” Igwe

said hitting his staff on the floor

“Dad?” Onochie called. Charles stood aside not

too surprised about Igwe’s actions

“Look at your brother Charles, very humble

and quiet. He does whatever I ask him to do.”

Igwe said pointing at Charles

“Did I send you to the States to learn

disrespect?” Igwe asked

“Guards!!!” Igwe called

“Take him away!!” He ordered the guards

“Don’t touch me” Onochie said with delegated

power

“What is all this dad?” Onochie asked

“They are just taking you to where you can

calm your head” Igwe said and Lolo fell on her

knees

“Please ooh.. My Son can’t stay in the dungeon”

Lolo pleaded

“Of Course, he deserves it for disrespect” Igwe

said and Charles was surprised. He joined in

pleaded

“Teach him how to respect” Igwe said to

Charles

“Dad, you can’t do this to me” Onochie said

struggling with the guards

“I have already done that my dear Son” Igwe

said

“And for that riff raff of a girl, I won’t yet

mention what I will do to her” Igwe said

“Don’t hurt that girl dad” Onochie said. Lolo

and Charles were still pleading

“Take him out of my sight. No food and no

water for him!!” Igwe ordered and the guards

took him away.

“Go and take your rest my dears” Igwe said to

Lolo and Charles

“That is just a disciplinary motive. He won’t

drag my name to the mud.. Never!” Igwe said

and found his way through Lolo and Chales who

held his legs pleading. He went away

immediately

“Heii!!!” Lolo exclaimed and Charles held her

close..

“It’s alright Mom” Charles said to her but she

never stopped… This act became the gossip of

the Palace….

Ada walked earlier that day to the surprise of

everyone.

“Hahahahha” Olamma laughed at Ada who

ignored them

“Look at her” Ugomma mockrd her and

Emetamma called her back

“Ada, come here” Emetamma ordered and Ada

came. Emetamma looked for a fault to find in

her but he didn’t find any.

“You can go” Emetamma said after looking at

her.

“Thank you Nna anyi” Ada said and went into

the kitchen

“She is happy” Nwannneka said

“Despite all we do to her” She added

“I am surprised also” Emetamma said

“Hmmmm…. Alright” Nwanneka said and

everywhere became quiet

“Maybe when she looses one of her eyes, she

will never be happy again” Olamma said and

they all looked at her…

Olaedo drove to Ken’s house. (Not the Chemist

man). Ken was her male crush in her university

days. Ken is the rugged type of person who

smokes and takes drugs. He lives in a self-

contained apartment. He is a hefty man with

beards on his jaw. Olaedo walked in

immediately without knocking. She came alone

anyways. She sat on his bed immediately with a

sad face. Ken removed the cigarette in his

mouth, took a drink and went to lock his door.

“What is making my angel’s face to be this

way?” Ken asked callng Olaedo all sort of names

“Talk to me baby” Ken said sitting romantically

close to her

“Isn’t it that idiot that is supposed to marry

me” Olaedo said

“That guy again?? It’s alright” Ken said

“Isn’t it marriage?? Just take it easy with him

till you marry him then you can place him

under your feet” Ken said

“But he refuses!!” Olaedo said

“No.. He can’t refuse, he will still fall for it” Ken

said

“All you need is to be happy” Ken said

“And that is why I am here” Olaedo said and

looked at Ken who smiled

“Here have a cigarette” Ken offered but Olaedo

refused. He offered a drink and she refused

also

“You know I don’t take that” Olaedo said and

Ken dropped them

“Sorry..” Kenn said annd began to praise her

with so many names and Olaedo began to

laugh. Later on, she held Ken on the throat and

they began to kiss. She off her shoes and laid

well on the bed trying to remove her

voluminous gown. Ken never wanted to miss

the chances. He crossed his legs over her

immediately and helped her pull her gown

while Olaedo unzipped his trousers.. They did

this and kissed simultaneously.. They were half

naked with Ken only on his boxers and Olaedo

only on her pants and Braziers. Ken quickly

raised up the pillow and drew out a condom

from it.

“Stop!” Olaedo ordered

“Must you use that?” She asked

“To avoid mistakes again like the last time back

in school my Love” Ken said and Olaedo smiled

“I don’t care. I need it fleshy” She said and Ken

threw it away immediately

“Come here..” Olaedo said romantically and

Ken covered her up……..
