I was in my room relaxing and listening to music at the same time when I heard a knock on the door.

I removed my ear pins from my ears and walked towards the door to find out who was trying to break open into my apartment with an irritating knock on my door.

I was thinking it was a junior I had sent some few minutes ago to buy food at the students’ canteen for me but as I opened the door I realised I was wrong.

It was Harrie (Harriet) my one lost friend.She pushed me aside putting one silly question across as she entered.

“Girlfriend, so you won’t look for me.Not even a flash if I don’t come here looking for you, she queried.

“Am sorry dear, I’ve been a little bit preoccupied with my studies. You know how our examiners can be,very trickish if you don’t study,I replied with a pleading voice.

She sat on my bed and I knew there was something wrong with with the look I saw drawn on her face.

“Harrie,I hope there’s nothing wrong with you,I asked searching her face curiously.
“I asked your boyfriend to greet you for me, but with the kind of question he asked me…. I knew he wouldn’t extend my greetings so I came to ask you if U’ve done something outrageous to Ali.. Because he was a shadow of himself when I saw him some few minutes ago.

“And what exactly did he ask you,i asked.

“That if I have been using your phone to make calls to my mum.

“Really, so that guy don turn CID abi, trying to investigate into my own private life.
“Ma girl, shut up…He’s right to know what happens around you because he is your guy. He would be the first person you would run up to should anything happen to you, so is he not right to investigate into your Private affairs since it’s obvious you have left him in the dark?”…. Huh!,tell me.
“What’s that supposed to mean Harrie ,must he know everything that happens around me… I asked.

“Of course yes, it would be better for you two to open up to each other should a problem occur, so you can put heads together to solve every issue that comes your way. Remember what our elders say, “Ti koro nk) agyina”….(Two heads are better than one).
“Thanks girlfriend, apparently am ashamed of myself now. I think I have to start Apologizing to you first before Ali comes next…

“I’ve been cooking up stories using your name as a care off for refusing to receive his calls.
“U’re forgiven, go and sin no more”, she joked..
“Thanks girl, I replied moving to hug her.

“You know am not a good liar and pretender like yourself.Seriously you need to give me some tutorials on how you could date four guys in a row without them knowing that u’re playing them.

What’s the name of the last one, I queried twisting my face up to her.

“Kennedy, she replied.
“You know that guy could be a very good actor one day.He promised to buy dinner for me only for him to call today saying he was at his mum’s end attending an uncle’s funeral.

“my sister, forget that idiot of a guy. That guy is not only a liar but a cheat also.He slept with Esther ,my room mate some few days ago.That’s why I left him.

“Am not into guys anymore as you just complained because all the guys I dated were all Cheats which has led me to no other choice than to double date……

“Seriously, they’re only two:Michael and Anthony, not four as you just said.At least am trying hard to prevent another heart break.

“The last one I had nearly sent me packing,i mean to say I nearly failed my exams all thanks to Kennedy.

“Then why don’t you stop dating and concentrate on your exams,i inturrepted.
“It’s easy for you to say,she said.

“Am telling you all these so you don’t loose that guy because it’s very hard to get a man of his calibre here in GH, believe me.

“Do you think that Ali is Saint,I asked.

“Never think you can get a perfect man out there.It’s how you would mould your man to suit what you want.

“If you want him to be a cheat, continue with this your behaviour and I bet you, you would see the other side of him.

“Please take my advice, go and pd for forgiveness and lay your problem before him for him to help you solve your issue with you….

She stood up headed to the door, and slumbed it leaving me to ponder over what she just said….

“I knew I had an apology to render to Ali which I could do easily but to play my problems before him was another thing…… He would I even start…. I begun to mummer to myself…
