I don’t know what to do anymore. My parents are not the church going/believers type so who will save me from this problem?

Oh God, I am in your hands. Help and save me from the evil ones. Through out that day, I couldn’t do anyother thing than to think and kept praying for the mermaids to spare me.

NEXT DAY.

I woke up with a smile on my face. The mermaid or Tracy didn’t appear to me through out the night.

Dad: hello!!

He said on entering inside me room.

Me: good morning dad.

Dad: good morning my princess how are you?

Me: I am cool dad.

Dad: how was your night?

Me: splendid, infact I am feeling really really great.

Dad: good, so that means we are not going to the hospital again right?

Me: yes dad, the……

Just then, Tracy appeared inside the room behind my dad.

Dad: the what?

Me: silent

Dad: hey what are you looking at?

Me: silent

Dad: Diana!!!!!!!!

Me: I jolted back to life

Dad: what is it again?

Me: nothing dad.

Telling him the truth might land me in a psychiatric hospital and that is the last place I wanna be.

Dad: are you sure you are alright?

Me: yes dad I am. In fact I am really fit and healthy.

Dad: ok o. See you later.

He said and left the room while Tracy came and sat down besides me..

Tracy: I thought you would have made a foolish decision by pointing me out to him.

Me: hmm.

Tracy: I would have really enjoyed seeing you in a psychiatric hospital along side other mad people.

Me: what do you want from me?

Tracy: I want you to become one of us that’s all. You can’t leave after knowing our secrets you know.

Me: so are you hear to beat me again?

Tracy: I just came to tell you that your mum and dad will be involved in a ghastly motor accident on their way to shoprite today. If you are wise, you can save them but if you are foolish, then bye bye.

Me: hahaha, mere threats. Empty threats.

Tracy: we shall see!

She said and vanished. My mum came inside instantly. She looked around the room to see if I was hiding anyone but she didn’t see anybody?

Mum: who are you talking with?

Me: noone mum.

Mum: common don’t lie to me, I heard you saying something to someone.

Me: erm, I was just reading.

Mum: reading what?

Me: took my phone beside me an article I saw on Facebook.

Mum: hmm, never knew you have started reading out loud, i thought you said you hate it. Never mind, your food is in the kitchen. When you are hungry, go and get it.

Me: ok mum.

Mum: we will now be going to shoprite to get somethings. See you soon.

She said pecked me and left. I was now afraid for their lives. Telling them is of no use because they won’t believe me. All I just have to do is pray for their dear lives.

They left the house and I was worried, I just hoped Tracy words were empty threats.

My dad was on the highway driving his BMW with my mum sitting on the front sit. Just then, he started encountering brake failures.

He tried all his best but there was nothing he could do because he was moving on high speed.

“Gbooaa”

He crashed into a fast moving trailer.
