Fire God Of The Fire Island - Season 1 - Episode 14

☆☆
Beginning of the Fire Lesson b

The sound was getting louder and louder, but, the heat stayed comforting. Then, Kate found herself surrounded by flames. She could see them, the flames as they dance about, the bright colours of white, red and orange mixed together in their awe-inspiring beauty. The fires were so close, licking at her feet and legs.

And yet she held no fear.

“Listen carefully to the roaring flames”,
Loki voice whispered to her, as if he was standing next to her, whispering encouragingly into her ear. “Can you hear the voice that is calling out to you”.[b]
Murmuring…….

Hushed voices through the crackling flames. She could hear a murmur of a voice, guiding and wise, but the words, she could not seem to understand. They were faint.

[b]“I…..”

“Easy, don’t try to force it”,
Loki soothed to her as a warmth fell across her shoulders and down her back, almost like she had someone behind her and had pressed themselves against her back, their arms wrapping around her shoulders and across her collar. “Relax, there’s nothing to fear”.

“Words”,
Kate said as she held out her hands toward the flames, enticing them to come closer to her, wanting them to come closer to her. “I can’t hear them, but…”

“You understand them. Speak them, out loud”.

So, Kate did. “Candles in the Night-Celtic Fire”.

Kate suddenly became breathless as the flame. Flared up around her, Circling her protectively, guarding her, keeping her safe from harm. And she did feel safe and secure, even as further warmth washed over her.

“Can you feel the warmth?” Loki chuckled to her. “Let it embrace you, don’t fear it, touched it”.

A small smile graced Kate lips as she reach out her hands, allowing the flames to flow around her fingerstips, running through her fingers like fine silk. “It’s so warm”, she simply whispered.

Then, over the crackling flames was another sound, sharp and powerful, like the cry of a bird of prey.

“I can….” Kate started to say as she abruptly tilted her head back to look upwards, into the darkness, seeing a small spark of light far off in the distance, shimmering like a Candle light. “I can hear a bird’s cry”.

“Yes, that is your Fire Beast”,
Loki continued to encourage. “What is she saying?”

Kate furrowed her brow. “I……don’t understand”.

“Don’t listen with your ears; listen with your Fiery Spirit”.

With one hand pressed against her b----t, over her heart, Kate lifted her other hand up toward the sound. She reached toward the small flame, watching as it grew and grew, dancing and weaving about; carefree and innocent.

“The Fire Hawk”,
she whispered as a Fiery figure formed before her, beautiful and majestic, wings of fire fanned out in an aw-inspring display. A smile appeared on her lips as the magnificent Fire bird lowered its mighty head, it’s powerful beak brushing against her fingertips in greeting….in acknowledgement.

“Nootau Chatan”.

Amazing….

Suddenly, Kate felt so very tried and her body began to fold underneath her “Ngh…..”

“Easy”,
Loki said as something strong encircled her waist, holding her upright. “Gently fold the flames back now, dim them slowly”.

Breathing deeply, Kate imagined that the flames around her were getting smaller and smaller, slowly dimming, the heat gradually fading away soon, the feel of the sea breeze against her face began to ease her out of her meditative state.

Her body felt shaky, unsteady, but her heart was racing with exhilaration.

She felt lighter than she had ever felt before.

She soon became more aware of her surroundings, and quickly realized that she was being supported by Loki, the taller and broader man holding her up against his chest, his arms wrapped securely around her waist, gently easing her back to reality.

“That’s it, you’ve done well for now”, Loki soothed as he ran his fingers through her hair in a comforting manner. “Rest”.

Again Kate simply listened to what Loki said, breathing deeply and placing her trembling hands on loki’s that where pressed against his chest. She closed her eyes for a few moments in order to catch her breath and slow her racing heart, simply leaning back against Loki, enjoying a sense of peace that was washing over her.
