Must Read: My Missing Rib (The Stranger) - Season 1 - Episode 17

"Who's Steve?" the guy threw back the question but Stella remained quiet trying to remember Steve's surname. "Is he your husband or brother?" the guy added.

Stella looked at him without smiling. "Never mind" she averted her eyes and both remained quiet for sometime.

"I'm Rock" the guy broke the silence.

"Sorry?" Stella wanted him to come again.

"My name is Rock" he repeated.

"Okay" Stella concentrated again. She looked out through the side glass to see nothing but bushes.

"May, i know your name?" Rock broke the silence again admiring her.

"I'm Stella" Stella replied without looking at him.
"Wow... good name. But you don't look like a Nigerian, are you?"

Stella remained quiet then Rock place a hand on her thigh while the other hand controlled the starringwheel. Stella quickly flung his hand out and began to feel uncomfortable instantly....

Faith and Justice were still driving too in the taxi. Both occasionally glanced at each other silently until Faith said, "You dressed corporate today, hmm..." she smiled.

"Yes, I'm going for a driving job interview" Justice replied smiling too.

"Really?"

"Yes"

"At where?"

"At a hotel"

"I wish you good luck"

Justice smiled at her then concentrated.
Celestina came into his mind immediately and Faith could see it on his face and body expression.

"I know you are thinking about my sister" Faith brought back his attention. So Justice looked at her with a sad face.

"How is she?" he asked.

"I can't tell coz she has not been constant at home" Faith replied.

"What do you mean?" Justice became suspicious of her response.

"According to her, her boyfriend is kidnapped and she's always seen in their house"

"Who's this her boyfriend?"

"Mr Stanley's son, Steve" Faith replied but Justice remained quiet. After some moment of silence, Faith looked at him and said, "I like it"

"You like what?" Justice asked.

"Your dressing" both smiled broadly looking at each other.

Rock's hand went back to the starringwheel but his eyes didn't do the same. It kept admiring Stella. "I guess you don't have a distinction. Can i take you to my house?" he said but Stella gave him a deaf ear turning totally to the side glass.
She remained like that until she started seeing buildings and resident of people. She could see a busy place where population of people where much. "Please, stop me" she said.

Rock stopped the car and placed a hand across her seat. "Come on, Stella, why can't you follow me..?"

Before Rock could finish, Stella opened the door and stepped down. She stood by the roadside thinking the next thing to do. She could hear some bus drivers shouting, "Lapresa! Lapresa!".
The name was familiar to her as Steve's home town, so she wanted to join them but calmed down because she had no money with her, moreover, she doesn't know Steve's home address.

The day gradually became dark added to the cloudy weather which resulted to a heavy rainfall. Stella ran into an empty shop-at the varander after being wet by the ran. Obviously, she became cold and folded her hands together shedding tears..

On the other hand, Celestina and the maid were in the kitchen preparing something when Mrs Stanley entered. "Celestina!" she shouted.

"Yes, Mummy" Celestina stared at her with a knife and onion in her hand.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm helping the maid to prepare dinner"

"No, no, no, no, no, you shouldn't be doing such a thing!"

"But there is nothing wrong..."

"No, just keept it" Mrs Stanley interrupted. Suddenly, she heard her husband shouting her name, so both ran to the sittingroom just to see Mr Stanley standing with his cell phone.

"My husband, what is it?" the wife asked curiously.

"The chief of the police just called, he said the kidnapper has confessed that Steve escaped from them" Mr Stanley replied.

"Oh my God!" Celestina exclaimed happily.

"That means my son should be on his way coming" Mrs Stanley side.

"Let's hope so but the police are still looking for him" the husband concluded.

Same night after the rain slowed down, a girl, who was passing by saw Stella crying seriously in the shop. She stopped and went closer to her.
She wore a black skirt with a red T-shirt. In her hand was an umbrella. "Hey, why are you crying?" she asked. After, Stella explained herself to her, she took her to her apartment.

Same night, back to the forest, Steve had to spend the night in the forest before continuing the journey. Though, the rain didn't get there but Thelma was obviously feeling cold and afraid. She folded her hands tightly sitting beside Steve. Only Fred was still standing walking further into the forest.

"Where are you going to?" Steve asked him.

"To hunt" he replied.

Steve removed his cloth and covered Thelma, he made her rest her head on his thighs.

"Thanks" Thelma admired him from his thighs.

"Welcome" Steve replied looking at her too. "Stella?" he called "Thanks for still not given up on me just as you said" he added but Thelma remained quiet.
