I was alone in my temporary cell, wondering why joe will do what he did. I fell asleep unknowingly.When i woke up it was already night. Peace came as she promised. She said ill be discharged in the morning. The doctor came when i was sleeping to discharge me, he didnt want to disturb me so he went.
“so where have you been? You just disappeared from lagos like that without notifying us. You almost killed your girlfriend with grief. We all thought you were dead” she said taking a seat beside me.
