I headed to school before 7am and arrived minutes past 7am.

Exam was to start by 9 so i just plugged my earphone and played my special playlist mostly MJ and cool Wizkid’s songs.


The examiner soon came and we were told to drop all implicating materials which we did.


I could see Tolu winking at me as the papers where shared round.

I winked back at her and djhr smiled. The first paper was good but the second was better.

“Time up”, the female examiner exclaimed with joy as if she we had been wasting her time.

The rest of the exams went smoothly except on the day when a dude was caught using his tablet to dub answers.

He was taken out of the hall by securities who mostly were illiterates. Upon all our pleas the lecturer still decided to take actions on the poor boy.

At the end of the two weeks exam i announced my journey back to Abuja to my parents who booked a flight for me, a flight i couldn’t meet up with cos of the incident i had with Shade.

I call it an incident cos it suppose to be a one time thing but how wrong i was. Once i have a taste of a lady i tend to always keep tasting.

It all started on the day after my final exams. I entered the empty compound and was about entering my room when i heard what sounded like the cry of someone.

The sound was from the door by my left so i followed and found out that someone was Crying bitterly in Shade’s room.
“shey na fvvking they make this one cry”,
“or her boyfriend don scatter her pushi or wetin “, i asked myself audibly.

I wanted turning back and head to my room but as i did that the cry intensified.

I unconsciously knocked on her door lightly.

She opened the door after 3 minutes of knocking and went back inside her apartment and for the first time i stepped into her room not expecting what went down that afternoon.
