Must Read: My Name Is Miracle (18+)

After the cheers and clapping died down i continued, defining the term colonial, colonize and colonial masters i went straight to my points.

“it would be selfish, uncalled for and disgraceful if as Nigerians we don’t appreciate the numerous impacts of the colonial masters”.

I had to mention major achievements of the Colonial masters including the naming of the country by the babe of one of them. I knew i couldn’t say we were better when we were under those God sent motherfu-Ckers so i decided to outline things done by them. I rounded up and went to my seat amidst clapping and cheering.

Then came the time where the first speakers have to give a 2 minutes conclusive speech.

Ada, the first speaker came up and shell shocked me o.

“I guess my opponents doesnt have an idea of the days of the colonial masters, how they made us slaves and used us to enrich their pockets, thanks to the likes of Nnamdi Azikwe who rescued us”.
“he looks handsome, doesn’t he”, she asked pointing.
“Yes and No”, rented the air.
“The Yes have it”, she said now smiling like a beautiful cow she was then to me at that moment.
“you would agree with me that he won’t be looking this good or they won’t be looking this good if they were born in the colonial masters”, Thanks “.

Omo me ma follow clap for her, i was looking at the fat chief Judge as he was busy looking at her as she swerved her behind while heading back to her seat.
“we don loose”, i said to my collegues, Rita and Mohammed.

Those judges can’t allow us win such beautiful ladies so i prepared for the worst as i headed out for my own section.

“All protocol duly observed, Colonization as i said was a necessary step in the development and amalgamation of our beloved country Nigeria”, i started
“do you know i wouldn’t have the opportunity to stand on this platform to debate with these beautiful and intelligent students if Nigeria wasn’t colonized. Maybe Ada here would be debating with her fellow ibo students in Aba, or Mr Chief judge (his kaftan symbolizes the hausa ethnic group) won’t be on that seat right now overseeing this debate, maybe he would be overseeing debates participated only by the hausas and you all my fellow student wouldn’t have had the opportunity to meet each other, Amalgamation made that possible”

“Who again amalgamated this country”, i asked the audience.
