Must Read: My Name Is Miracle (18+)

Towards the end of the week Test scripts were returned. my marks were like Tolu’s face in the field earler that week. My course Mates couldn’t fail to recognize the matric number with 25/30, 28/30, 20/20 scores and so on just to mention a few.


I bribed the General Course rep with 2000 naira to keep my identity pacified.


Though they tried questioning him the guy was able to keep to his side of the bargain or so i thought.


Then came the week of the arrival of Mrs Daura.


That sunday she had called that she was already in the airport waiting to fly down to lagos.


“Till you come”,i replied bluntly.

By 4PM she called sme that she was in Ibadan.


Premier hotel to be precise.

“What are you doing there”, i asked.

“I am Lodging there through out my stay”, she replied.

One hour later i was at the Executive Deluxe wing of the hotel.

“Evening”, i greeted her after entering the room
“Good evening, Mimi”, she responded.

we talked a little about her trip before i asked her what she was thinking lodging in a hotel.


“tis my choice, Mimi”,
“Ok, but i d already arranged my room for your visit, infact my apartment is anticpating your presence”, i replied and tried convincing her further to come to my place.


She agreed but decided on sleeping over at the hotel that night.


I concurred and later surprisingly left the hotel telling her to let me know when she is ready to come.


The next day was the beginning of the lecture free week so i was in my room when a knock sounded on the door.


Doc came in while we hugged as i welcomed her.


“When did you come back” i asked as i observed her skin looked fairer and smoother
“Last night”, she replied.


she told me she had checked on me but i wasn’t in.


“Yea i went to welcome a friend of mine that came to Ib last night”
“She will be staying over at my place through out her stay”, at least i let her know that i had a visitor so no frequent knocks.


“wow”, she exclaimed.


Funny enough Mrs Daura call came in, i picked and she told me she was set.


Doc volunteered on using her car to transport me to the hotel and back.


“Doc , meet Maryam, Maryam meet Doc”, my simple Introduction was so sweet to my ears.


“Chinaza is my name, am not yet a doctor”, they shaked their hands and then twas time to head home.


“I brought a car”, Mrs Daura said
“Gbese”, i wispered
