Must Read: My Name Is Miracle (18+)

The roughest period of your life is when your people dont appreciate you for not being acquainted with their identity. That very Saturday morning i made the mistake of visiting the family house alone. Prior to that day me and my siblings had received strict warning from visiting the family house for our best interests. (yoruba juju is so real) but as an outlaw i void the warning.


I drove my mum’s car that afternoon with my village friend Tope. We drove straight to the red zone and true to the words of my dad,lots of old humans were present, the way i was looked upon like say i be food(fresh meat).


I made another mistake of greeting them in English language.


“omo baje” ranted the air. That day i was victimized for not
1) lying down to greet them
2) not communicating in the yoruba language.



Hours after ma worst experience i was shedding real tears as i realized they were partly right.

Partly in the sense that i don’t believe in lying down while greeting or acknowledging any human being.


I explained all the day’s events to my parents and asked them for a favour Schooling in the west.
