Still on the chair i requested for a Mic and signaled Deji.seconds later the lights went off and the whole hall went dark. There was a loud noise in the hall, then came a voice in the background,
“ohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhhh ohhhhhhh ohhhhhhh”
the hall went quite as they were surprise cos everyone thought Nepa had done their best and now could clearly hear a beautiful voice from the school PA system.


“oh her eyes,her eyes make the stars look like they’re not shinin’
her hair,her hair falls perfectly without her trying, she’s so beautiful and i tell her everyday yeah…………”

then came the lights,
ya people i was singing along to Bruno Mars’s “JUST THE WAY YOU ARE”. The whole hall was silent as a graveyard only my voice and Bruno’s could be heard.


Then came the chorus

there’s not a thing that i could change……..”
by now i was already in the crowd amidst cheers.


The guys were hitting the tables and jumping up with there hands up. Mehn i was feeling so superstar and i had the feeling i would enjoy my remaining days in the school.


I sighted Angela and passed her with a straight face when i was singing along the chorus then came the verse 2 and i rushed towards were she was sitted and i sat on table she rested her back on cos she was sitting on a bench with a table at the back and sang along.


“Her lips,her lips i could kiss them all day if she’d let me”. I had already position my mouth close to hers but she pushed my head away. Laughter enveloped the hall and i surprisingly joined in and did my hands in the “i told ya” format.


When i busted the remaining lines she was already smilling like a cow that finished straffing.

The remaining social night period was dance!!!


Dance!! Dance!.


That night i gained lots of fans and also the heart of Angela.
