The next day was another day of interogation from the school board,unlike other local schools my secondary gives stidents opportunities to defend themselves cos the vp admin is kinnda so religious and dont wanna sin against God according to her.

The panel concluded by agreeing it was a case of misidentity but the punished me for accusing a staff of victmization.

“i guess am not upto having a normal friendship with you so am sorry for bothering you and myself”, i concluded as i stood up brushed my hair with my palm and located Rita(remember her?).

Rita was even trying to be more annoying than Angela but i never blamed her cos i knew she was mere jealous with my exploit.

“babe do you know y i left that beautiful girl and came sitting with you”,i asked with a smile on my face as i turned my heading gazing towards Angela who was now obviously looking at me in action.

” no?”, she answered with lots of interest on hearing what i was about saying next.

I held her hands and replied

she fell for those whack lines of mine and was soon telling me how she thought i was just an Eat and run guy(which i definitely was) she was smiling as we chatted , i observed all eyes in that section of the all was towards our direction.

“you know we could be the Jayz and beyonce of this small naija”, i whispered into her ears. She smiled and got my message as she looked around observing the jealous eyes of mates and seniors alike.

Her boyfriend the school timekepper later came as i greeted him and headed towards the exit when i heard “hey you stop there”.

I looked and saw a non prefect senior student heading towards me with his belt.

He asked me to lie down and i was like “what tha hell,this dude is fvvvking crazy,if him bin wan embarrass me him for run am since no b nw wey power don divide 50-50″.

I knew the fool wanted feeling himself so i gave him some stars on his respect bar by laying down without even complaining.

Not less than 10 seconds after i have done the abominable act when lots of prefects both campaigning and active came bashing the senior of trying t cause an uproar(in the words of the assistant headboy),i was asked to stand up which i did with smiles on my face as i exited the hall heading to ma room to sleep.

The news of my humility that prevented an inter class fight spread like wildfire and i received commendations from students and staff alike who were surprised cos i was known to b a no nonsense guy whose influence was remarkable.


It seems that event was my lucky charm as i was made the school social prefect. Ifeanyi grabbed the post of a member of the dining/food prefects.
