It all started on the last day of the second term during the social night activity, i was seated with my friends when i was sent for by the school headgirl my school mum, i had curled my hair and dressed in my neat penciled brown trouser and red check thanks to my school mum who makes sure her girls do the laundry for me on Sundays and return my well ironed uniforms on Monday morning.

“SS2, are you guys deaf”, i heard the Social prefect shouted as he rolled his belt heading towards the crowd to fish out SS2 students who refused to come out for a dance when we were called.

Aremu, the social prefect had a bad temper. Just 2 weeks ago he was nearly disbadged for throwing a bell at a junior student.
I immediately stood up to run to the stage to avoid being a victim of his rage.

The social prefect soon passed by hailing the head girl and her group with a smile as he headed towards the stage after making sure all SS2 student were on the stage dancing excluding me.


I thanked my stars and prayed i will survive that night in the hostel.


“follow me”, the headgirl ordered as we both walked outta the hall, we soon sat on the stairs leading to the abandoned school store.

We were soon engaged in deep discussion as i told her to make sure she passes her upcoming senior exams.

She started telling me how she overheard some girls saying it won’t be long before i impregnate my fellow student.

I laughed it off and told her i don’t even have a girl friend.

Angela has been the most difficult girl to convince that am worthy of her love. She looks at me with an eye of disdain.

I was soon shivering, all my witty guts disappeared.

“why are u shivering like a drenched fowl”, she mockingly asked.

I told her i wasnt shivering as i made up my mind not to downgrade myself and my famous guts and swagger in her sight.

I remembered telling her i was a professional massage some weeks back, i will make sure she enjoys every moment i concluded in my mind as i moved to a stair above her.

I was soon massaging her shoulders making sure i caress the focal joints.

“my neck also”, she requested.

I knew i was doing my work well when she held my hands, i first thought she must have had a rethought on what was going on.
