The next day at work I was amazed at the way my boss was radiating, looking so poshed and sweet, Miss Lisa also looked awesom when I passed through her her office to greet her.

Yeah! Talking about miss Lisa she have not called me in phone since the last time we met and on friday when I was not at work she never called to ask either.

“Heey Happy new week dear” she said beaming with smile.

“I wish you the same, you look sweet!” I commended and she smiled saying “Toou too dear, so why were you not at work on friday?

Wel I took an excuse to miss work since my supervisor told me she won’t be coming that Friday” I told her and she just nodded indicating to me that she didn’t buy that story but I I not perturbed. I took excuse and left to my boss’s office.

After a very warm hug from her I complimented her look and she was smiles.

“So how was every one at home” she asked
“Fine, fine and fine” I replied beaming with smile.

“So?” she asked
I looked at her confused. “So what?” I asked her
“So what did you bring for me?”

“O! I brought you something” I said as I went to my bag to bring out a small box.

“Here, I said handing it over to her. She collected it with expectations as she loosed the wrap. Inside was a fine neck bead.

“Wooooow! O my goodness this is beautiful ” She said as she lifted it up. I just smiled
“Come, Come put it on my neck lemme see how it fits me” she said and I went to unhook the bead and placed it on her neck. It looked really beautiful. That bead was gotten from my cousin who lives with her husband at Abuja.

I had collected the bead from her telling her I will give it to a lady I will love while here in Abuja and surprisingly I just gave it to a lady, a lady far older than me and I knew I do love her.

Age is just a barrier but heey! What if she asked me about the girl I gave it to. What wuill be my reply?
