'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 86 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 27 September 2017

Gauri comes home with the baby.
The family gathers to welcome her.
Uma says they need to give the baby a proper welcome and also need to decide on her name.
A priest is present.

He blesses the baby and Uma performs the welcome ritual.
She takes the baby from Gauri.
Amar walks away.
Gauri follows and asks him if he doesn't want to be a part of his baby's naming ceremony.
Amar says he doesn't want to be a part of the baby's life.

Gauri tells him to be a part of the ceremony for Divya's sake as it is what she would have wanted.
Amar agrees to be a part of it just for Divya's sake.
Aditi is carrying the baby who is crying.
Chandra tries to help her calm the baby down but the baby carries on crying.

Chandra gives her to Uma but the baby keeps crying.
Uma calls Gauri over and gives her the baby.
The baby stops crying.
Uma tells Gauri to sit on the mat with the baby and join them.
The priest says he would need something of Divya's so she can be a part of the blessing.
Chandra gives him Divya's red Saree.

Amar remembers Divya wearing the saree.
The priest tells Amar to give his daughter a name.
Amar remembers when he and Divya came up with a baby name, Diya.
He tells the priest that the baby would be named Diya.
The priest says the name means light and she would bring light to their lives.

Amar stands up and a tear from his eye falls on the baby.
He hurries out of the room.
Amar comes to see Divya at the hospital.
She is still in a coma.

He tells her that he named their daughter Diya like Divya wanted.
He is crying.
He begs her to smile for Diya's sake.
Amar is back home.
Gauri brings food to him and begs him to eat for Divya's sake.

Amar agrees to eat a little.
Sindoora is watching from the doorway.
As soon as Amar starts to eat, Sindoora enters the room and asks Gauri if she brought her food.
She asks if the food is for Amar then she saysGauri is very nice to be taking good care of Diya.

Amar thanks Gauri.
Sindoora vows secretly to make Amar develop feelings for Gauri.
Diya is in her cradle.
Gauri is cooing her to sleep.
Sindoora also comes into the room to rock her to sleep.
Aditi joins them.
Bharat enters.

Sindoora says Aditi is her daughter and she has made Bharat happy.
Bharat is happy.
He asks if she remembers
Sindoora says she remembers at times and she wants Bharat to tell her everything.
Next day, Amar is in the garden, thinking of Divya.

He imagines her in the garden with him.
Aditi is carrying the baby who is crying.
She carries her close to a photo of Divya and tells her that Divya would come home soon.
Aniket enters the room and says the baby has bad luck as her mother is in the hospital and Amar is not getting close to her.

Aditi says Amar is still trying; he named the baby and she knows he will eventually accept her.
Amar is going through some documents a home.
Bharat tells him they need to get some trucks for the office.
Amar tells him to handle it.
Bharat asks when he would be coming back to work.

Amar says he's not ready and he just wants to be with Divya.
Aniket joins them and says they don't know how long it would take Divya to get better or if she would even get better.
Amar says she would get better.

Sindoora enters and tells them she wants to go to the hospital with Amar.
Aniket tells her to forget it.
Sindoora begs Amar to take her.
Amar and Sindoora are in the hospital.
Amar asks the doctor how Divya is doing.
The doctor says Divya has been shivering.
Sindoora is wrapped in a shawl because she is also shivering.

She is surprised that Divya is feeling what she is also feeling.
She thinks Divya must be linked to her somehow.
Back home, Amar sees the baby crying.
He tries to ignore her but she continues crying and he moves closer to her crib and tells her to stop crying.

She continues crying.
Gauri and Sindoora walk into the room and watch him.
Amar touches the baby and she stops crying.
Sindoora says the baby has stopped crying and is even smiling.
Amar stands up.

Sindoora says Diya only smiles with two people and they are Amar and Gauri, so Diya must think Gauri is her mother.
Amar tells her Gauri is not her mother and it's because of Diya that Divya is not there.
He storms off.

Sindoora tells Gauri that she knows Amar will accept Diya one day and only Gauri can make it possible.
Amar is thinking about what Sindoora said.
He accidentally knocks over a vase.
He bends down to pick it up but Aditi tells him not to bother.

She asks him if everything is okay.
He says Sindoora told him to forget Divya but he would never do that.
Aditi tells him not to listen to her.
She gives him a prayer offering.

Bharat enters the room with wet hair and he shakes it so that some drops of water land on Aditi.
He says he has learnt such habits since she came to the house.

She asks him if he would forget her.
He asks why she's talking that way.
She tells him that Amar said Sindoora told him
to forget Divya.

Bharat says Sindoora only said it to make Amar
feel better, besides, she's unstable.
Amar is asleep at night.
He wakes up and sees a woman in his room.
He thinks it's Divya.
He's upset when he sees it's Gauri holding Diya.
He asks why she brought the baby to his room.
Gauri says it's the only place where Diya falls asleep.

Amar storms out of the room.
Sindoora enters the room and asks Gauri if she would just allow Amar to leave.
She tells her that Amar is going to see Divya who is the only person he cares about and he doesn't care about Gauri.

Aditi enters the room and asks Sindoora how she knows where Amar is going and why she's sending Gauri after him.
Sindoora starts acting crazy.
She says she knows everything.
Amar is with Divya at the hospital.

He sits by her bedside, watching her.
Divya starts gasping and Amar rubs her hands.
At home, Sindoora is also gasping for breath.
She clutches her chest as she breathes with difficulty.

Blood comes out of Divya's mouth.
Sindoora is coughing up blood.
Aditi enters the room and sees Sindoora struggling to breathe
She asks her what's wrong.

Sindoora covers her mouth to hide the blood.
She tells Aditi to leave the room.
