'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 87 Recap - Aired: Thursday 28 September 2017

Amar watches from the window as the doctors try to help Divya.

Chandra calls to ask Amar where he has gone to as the family members are worried.
Amar says he's at the hospital and the doctors are with Divya whose condition seems to have gotten worse.

Chandra says she will come over.
Sindoora begs Chandra to allow her also come to the hospital.
Chandra refuses but Sindoora keeps begging till Chandra gives in.

At the hospital, the doctor informs Amar and Chandra that if things continue as they are, Divya's heart might stop functioning.
Sindoora sneak into Divya's room.
She decides to find out if she was only imagining things.

She takes the oxygen mask away from Divya.
She watches Divya struggling to breathe but nothing happens to her.
She says it was all in her imagination.
As she turns to leave the room, she starts gasping for air, just like Divya.

Amar and Chandra are coming with the doctor.
Sindoora puts the oxygen mask back on Divya.
She continues to struggle for air till she faints.
Amar, Chandra and the doctor enter the room and meet Sindoora passed out on the floor.
They pick her up.

The doctor examines Divya and tells Amar that they've done all they can so he needs to just pray.
Amar tells Divya that she can't leave him.
He begs her to get up and do it for their daughter, Diya.

Divya calls his name then slips back into a coma.
Sindoora is lying on a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask.
She takes off the mask and gets out of bed.
She asks Chandra how Divya is doing.
Chandra says she's still in a coma.

Sindoora runs out of the room to go and check on Divya through the window.
Sindoora returns to see her guru.
She tells him that when something happens to Divya, she experiences the same thing and she doesn't understand it.

He tells her she was lucky because if she had killed Divya, she would have died as well; fate has given Divya a talisman and that talisman is Sindoora which menas before death can come to Divya, it has to go through Sindoora.
Sindoora says there must be a solution.

The guru tells her the only way is to keep Divya alive.
Sindoora says she needs a way out.
The guru tells her it's repentance.
Sindoora says she can never regret what she has done.

She begs for another solution.
The guru tells her that she has to perform a ritual for 3 days and it will be extremely difficult because Divya believes in God.

He warns that nobody should know about it.
Sindorora returns home and sees Chandra and Aditi looking worried.
She panics and asks if Divya is dead.
Chandra says they were only worried about Sindoora herself.

Aditi sees a talisman in Sindoora's hand.
Sindoora says she was outside talking a walk.
Aditi suggests someone takes care of Sindoora all the time.
Sindoora says no.

Chandra says Aditi is right and she should
watch over Sindoora.
Sindoora insists she's fine and runs out of the room.
Sindoora is in her room, wondering how she would carry out the guru's orders without Aditi finding out about it

Gauri enters the room and says she's unable to bear Amar not taking care of his daughter.
Sindoora tells her to leave Diya when she cries so that Amar is forced to go to her.
Amar hears Diya crying and calls for Gauri but Gauri doesn't respond.

He sees the baby rolling to the edge of the bed and he runs to pick her up.
Gauri is watching him.
Amar holds his baby and looks at a photo of Divya with tears streaming down his face.
Gauri enters the room and tells Amar that he should give Diya her milk.

He asks why she's trying to force things.
He says the baby is responsible for Divya's condition.
Gauri begs him not to take things out on the baby because she's not responsible for what has happened and the baby really needs him as she's not getting her mother's love.
She takes the baby from him.

Sindoora looks at the talisman the guru have her and she remembers he told her to tie it on Divya's wrist at midnight.
She wonders how she would be able to sneak out of the house to the hospital.

Aditi enters the room to invite her to dinner.
Sindoora tells her to leave as she's not hungry.
Aditi sees the talisman on the floor and asks what it is.
Sindoora quickly stands up and tells Aditi that she's hungry and wants to eat.

She pushes Aditi towards the door and follows her out of the room.
Amar comes downstairs and sees Chandra eating
He imagines Divya at the table and he becomes sad.
He leaves the table.

Aditi brings Sindoora downstairs.
Sindoora remembers the priest telling her to do a fast for 3 days.
She tells Aditi that she doesn't want to eat the food because she's not hungry.
She runs back upstairs.

Gauri is rocking Diya to sleep.
Amar stands in the doorway.
Gauri tells the baby that her father was a little mean but it's not his fault and soon, her mother will return home and her father will love her.
Amar uses his phone to take a photo of Gauri and the baby.

Gauri has no idea he's there.
Aditi takes Sindoora's favorite meal to her in the room.
Sindoora tells her to keep it and she would eat later.
Aditi leaves the room.

Sindoora picks up the food and just as she's about to take a spoon, she remembers the priest's warning.
She pours the food in the bin.
Aditi sees her and asks why.
Sindoora is surprised to see her.

Aditi calls Bharat and tells him Sindoora has refused to eat so he should feed her.
Bharat asks Sindoora why she isn't eating.
Sindoora says Aditi doesn't like her and the food was too salty.

Aditi says it's not true.
Sindoora tells Bhatat to make Aditi apologise.
Aditi says she can't apologise when she hasn't done anything wrong.
Bharat gets upset and tells her to just apologise as it's not a big deal.
He storms out of the room.

Amar comes to the hospital to show Divya the photo.
He bumps into a man along the corridor.
The man is carrying his baby.
Amar enters Divya's room and shows the photos to Divya who is still in a coma.
He says Diya looks like Divya and she should just look at her.

He holds her hand and begs her to wake up so she can come and be with him and Diya.
Sindoora is trying to sneak out of the house with the talisman.

Aditi sees her and quietly follows.
She enters the garden and doesn't see Sindoora anymore.
She tells herself that she must find out what it is going on.
Sindoora gets to the hospital at 4 minutes to midnight.

She sees Amar in the room with Divya.
She runs downstairs and makes a phone call to the hospital admin desk asking to talk to Amar who is in room 101.

The nurse at the front desk makes a call to
Divya's room and speaks to Amar.
Amar leaves the room and Sindoora runs in.
It's 2 minutes to midnight.

Sindoora slips the talisman under Divya's pillow as she waits for midnight.
Amar gets downstairs and the nurse gives him the phone.
Amar listens but he doesn't hear anyone.
Sindoora accidentally steps on a wire and the tube connected to Divya comes off.

The alarm goes off and the nurse alerts the doctors to check room 101.
Amar hears and runs to Divya's room.
Sindoora hides behind the curtain.
The doctor checks on Divya and asks the nurse why the machine isn't working.
