'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 81 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 20 September 2017

The family is gathered at home watching Amar and Divya on TV.

Uma says no woman should have to suffer what Divya is going through.
Aniket asks for Bharat.
Aditi goes upstairs to look for him.
The host of the TV show asks Amar what he has to say.
Amar says he loves Divya and can't bear to see her like this; all he wants is for her to be happy again.
He has tears in his eyes.
He says the doctor said the chances of Divya not surviving is 90 percent.

A reporter from the TV show goes out on the streets asking people for their opinion on the matter.
The people have mixed reactions.
Some support Divya, some support Amar and some pray that God saves both Divya and the baby.
Aditi sees Bharat in the room, sitting in the dark.
She turns on the light but he tells her to turn it off and leave him alone.

She asks if he's upset because of what
happened at the restaurant.
He tells her that not everything is about her and she should just leave him alone.
Aditi becomes sad.
He tells her he's sorry and doesn't care about what the people were saying at the restaurant.
Aditi asks what has been bothering him for the past few days.
He says everything is fine.
She tells him she's his wife and he can tell her anything.
Bharat thinks about the person who pulled his hand at the abandoned building.

The host of the TV show asks the studio audience if they have questions.
A man asks how Divya and Amar met.
Amar says they met lifetimes ago; he met a girl named Vidya who was from Benares and he was Sagar from a rich family.

Divya says they are the same people who are now Amar and Divya and Divya met Amar by the river Ganges.
Amar says they soon realised they would be partners for life and then they got married.
The host asks Divya if she has anything else to say.
Divya says she has always loved her husband and the child growing inside her is a part of the love.
Divya and Amar return home.

The family welcomes them.
Amar sees the table is set.
He asks if the family hasn't eaten yet.
Aniket says they were not hungry.
Amar says they will all eat as a family.
Everyone sits at the table while Gauri serves them.
Bharat sees Amar isn't eating so he feeds him.

Amar goes to Aniket and feeds him as Aniket too wasn't eating.
Bharat tells Aditi that she should organise a big dinner for tomorrow so that after the hearing in court, they can all eat a big meal.
Everyone becomes sad again.
Divya is lying in bed thinking of what the verdict will be in court.
She hears Amar coming and closes her eyes.
Amar enters the room and thinks she's sleeping.
He prays to God to save his Divya.

When Amar falls asleep, Divya starts talking to
her baby, telling him she can't help it that his father is crying.
She apologises to the baby and saysshe's sorry that she's troubling everyone but after today, she won't trouble anyone.
Amar hears her and opens his eyes in fear.
Bharat arrives at the same building that looks abandoned but it is actually an asylum.
He goes into a room to meet a person who is sitting on the floor, covered from head to toe in a blanket.

He asks the person why he or she is acting out.
He shows his wrist from where the person grabbed him the other day and left marks.
He asks if what the director to him is right that the person is causing trouble at the asylum.
The person doesn't respond.
Bharat tries to take off the blanket but the person pushes him away.
Aniket comes to meet Amar in the morning.
He says he can't decide who the verdict should favour but he knows the case is having a bad effect on Divya's health.
The family members get downstairs to see Divya with a priest conducting a ceremony.
Uma asks her what's going on.
Divya says it's a funeral ceremony for Sindoora as it has been a year since she passed and she thinks they need to have it so that her soul can rest in peace.
Bharat enters the house.
The priest asks for Sindoora's photo.
Bharat asks why they need to have the ceremony.

Divya says it's necessary.
She tells Gauri to go and get the photo.
Gauri brings the photo.
Bharat has tears in his eyes as he looks at the photo.
Amar begs him to sit.
Everyone sits on the mat.
The priest tells them to pray to God to give Sindoora's soul peace.
Bharat jumps up and says he can't do it.
A woman is shown tied up and acting out in the asylum.
The woman is Sindoora.
She looks older with grey hair.
Bharat goes upstairs.
Sindoora is locked up in the asylum.
She is lying on the mattress in her room that looks more like a cell and staring at the ceiling.

Divya and Amar are ready to go to court.
Uma blesses them and Aniket tells them to go and the family will join them later.
Food is being served at the asylum.
Sindoora is still lying in her position.
The nurse who brings her food forgets to lock the cell.
Amar and Divya are on their way to court.
Divya leans on Amar in the back seat of the car.
Karuna asks Uma and Aniket if Sindoora knew about Aditi's past.

Uma says no.
Karuna says no mother would accept it.
Aniket says they all knew who Sindoora was and they wouldn't have supported her on the matter.
Bharat comes downstairs and tells them to stop talking about his mother.
Sindoora leaves her cell and goes to the warden.
The warden wakes up and asks how she got out.
Sindoora tells the pregnant warden to get rid of the pregnancy because when the baby grows up, he would kill her.
Some nurses come to take Sindoora back to her cell and inject her.
Aniket comes to Bharat's room to tell him that his focus should be on Amar and Divya.
Bharat receives a phone call that troubles him.

Aniket asks who called him.
Bharat says he won't be able to make it to court.
Aniket asks where he's going because he has been noticing a change in him.
Bharat says he is coming back.
He comes to the asylum to see Sindoora.
He hears her saying 'Your son would kill you' repeatedly.
He cries and says he's responsible for it.
Divya and Amar arrive the courthouse.
Reporters surround the car.
Amar comes down and goes over to Divya's side to help her out of the car.
Divya's lawyer takes her aside and tells her that after 15 days, the case is as good as theirs.
Divya says she won't cheat her husband to win the case.

The lawyer tells her to handle the case on her own then.
He hands her the files.
