'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 70 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 05 September 2017

Chandra asks Amar if he wants to see the guest.
He says yes.
She tells him to go into the room and see her.
Amar says he would see her later.

A prayer ceremony is being held for Divya.

Gauri sees a photo of Amar hanging on the wall.
She wonders what he's doing there.

She enters the living room to see him dancing with Divya and holding her.
Amar sees her and he's shocked.

Gauri is deeply hurt and has tears in her eyes.

Amar runs outside to look for her when he realises she disappeared from the party.
Divya comes to find him.
She asks what's going on.
He tells her not to worry.
He takes her back inside.

Bharat comes to Aditi's room to ask for a tablet for his headache.
She tells him to wait outside so nobody sees him in her room.
Bharat enters the room all the same and says he had to see her as his mother is sleeping.

Karuna calls out to Aditi.
Bharat hides in the wardrobe.

Karuna enters the room and tells Aditi that she's happy that Bharat found a soft hearted woman.
She gives her a set of bangles as gifts.

Bharat sneezes in the wardrobe.
Aditi tells Karuna that it's a cat.
Karuna leaves the room.
Aditi tells Bharat to leave.
He hugs her.

Karuna opens the door.
They quickly break apart.
Karuna tells Bharat that he needs to take their customs seriously and he mustn't see his future wife before the wedding.
She tells Aditi that's it's her duty to respect the customs.

Gauri is walking along the road, crying.
She asks why Shivam has been cheating on her.

Chandra asks the family members if they've seen Gauri.
Amar almost chokes on his water and starts coughing.

Later at night, Amar is in bed thinking of how nice Gauri was to him.
Divya joins him in bed and tells him she's very happy.
She asks what's bothering him.
He assures her again that he's fine.

Amar has a dream about a car knocking Gauri down.
He decides to tell Divya the truth but she doesn't hear him as she's sleeping.
She wakes up to tell him she didn't hear and he should repeat what he was saying.
She apologises for falling asleep.
Amar remembers what the doctor said about Divya's blood pressure so he tells her not to worry.

In the morning, Gauri returns to the house.

Amar is making a phone call to the police to report her missing when he sees her.
Gauri looks at him with fury written all over her.

The family members ask her why she just left home without telling anyone.
Gauri says she wanted to go and never come back but she realised she would be making a big mistake if she doesn't get answers to her questions.
She asks Amar why he left her and lied to her.
Divya says she understands what Gauri is going through.
She asks what her husband's name is so they can help her find him.
Amar panics.
Gauri says her husband's name is...
Amar cuts in and tells Divya to let the matter go as Gauri is not well and shouldn't be pressured into answering.
Divya tells her to go and rest
Gauri tells them to all leave her alone as she doesn't want to talk to anyone.
Everyone else leaves the room and Amar drags Gauri outside.

Karuna goes to tell Aniket that she doesn't think it's right for Gauri to stay out all night then come back to question everyone.
Aniket says they want to give her a chance.
Karuna says she might cause problems if they continue to let he stay.
Aniket tells her not to worry.

Amar takes Gauri to the garden and tells her that Divya is married and shouldn't be stressed out.
Gauri says she won't say anything till Divya has her baby.
She asks why he decided to marry the two of them and live in sin.
She keeps calling him Shivam.
Amar says he's not Shivam but Amar.
He tells her everything from when he hit Shivam with his car till when he eventually left.
She says he sacrificed his life for her sake.
She begs for his forgiveness and promises not to let anything bother him and his wife.
She says she will be leaving as she no longer wants to be a burden.
She faints.

Amar takes her to the hospital.
Divya and the rest of the family come to the hospital.

The doctor tells them that Gauri is in a critical condition.

Divya asks Amar if he knows what happened to her.
Amar lies that he just saw her falling.

Amar calls Shivam's family home and Mohini answers the call.
He tells her that Gauri is in Delhi.
She tells him to decide what he wants to do with her because the family no longer needs her.
She hangs up on him.

Gauri wakes up and sees the family members.
Divya assures her that they are with her.

Amar and Gauri are alone in the hospital room.
Gauri begs Amar not to let Divya know what happened between them.
Divya walks in and asks what Gauri doesn't want her to know.
Gauri says she doesn't want the people in the village to know what happened.

Bharat sees Aditi coming then he runs into his room to complain that he can't find his shirt and needs Aditi to help him.
Karuna enters the room and offers to help him find the shirt.
Bharat says Aditi will help.
Karuna says Aditi has to cook.
She takes Aditi with her out of the room.

Gauri is discharged from the hospital.

Amar is looking for Vidya.
He enters a room and finds Gauri in the bed.
She begs him not to let Divya know anything.
Amar says it is forgiven.
Gauri says she will stay in the house till she is fully recovered.
Amar tells her that Shivam is no more.
Gauri says she suspected as much and she would leave when she is recovered.
Divya enters the room and tells Gauri that she and Amar want her to stay and they won't rest till they find her husband.
She takes Gauri's hand and joins it with her own and Amar's saying from now on, they will be her new family.
