'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 69 Recap - Aired: Monday 04 September 2017

Amar sees Divya standing on a chair in the room, putting some boxes on the top of the wardrobe.

He rushes to her and carries her down, asking why she is climbing on a chair while pregnant.
He makes her promise to take care of herself.
He also makes her promise to give him a sweet kiss every morning.

Chintu enters the room and sees Divya kissing Amar on the cheek.
He complains that he always walks in on them having such moments.
They apologise to him and Divya engages him in a conversation.

Amar watches them as they talk and he prays for God to always protect Divya and keep her happy.
Gauri arrives Delhi but she doesn't know where to look for Amar.
She prays for God's guidance.

Amar is ready to leave for work.
He tells Aditi to get Bharat.
She gets to the room and meets him shirtless as he has just come out of the bathroom.
She gets shy and tells him that Amar is asking for him.

As she turns to leave, he pulls her back and holds her.
He gets shy again and says Divya is calling her.
She runs off.
Amar and Divya are in bed at night.
Divya is unable to sleep.

She wakes Amar up to ask for ice cream.
He tells her it's very late and the vendors wouldn't be there.
Gauri is sleeping by the side of the road.
Some boys drive by and see her.
Amar tells Divya to get up so they can go for the ice cream.

Gauri wakes up to see the boys in front of her.
They tell her to come with them so they can give her a place to sleep.
She runs off and they chase her.
Divya and Amar arrive at the ice cream shop but it's locked.

Amar knocks on the door to beg the ice cream vendor to make some ice cream.
The man complains but Amar explains it's for his pregnant wife.
The man gives in and makes them the ice cream.

Gauri is still running as the boys chase her.
She runs past Divya and Amar.
She pushes past Amar as she runs then she falls down.
Divya holds her to ask if she's alright.
Amar fights the boys off.

Divya goes to him when the boys run off.
They turn to look for Gauri but she's gone.
Amar has no idea she was the one.
On the drive home, Divya says she's worried about the girl and prays she reaches her destination safely.

Amar tells her not to worry.
Next day, the family members are discussing Bharat and Aditi's upcoming wedding.
Divya asks where Bharat is.
Aditi says he went to another town on business.
The family members are surprised.

They wonder why he left without telling them.
Bharat comes back home and tells them that he went to get his mother.
They tell him his mother is gone.
Bharat tells her to come in.
A woman who isn't Sindoora comes in.
Bharat says she's Karuna and he has always called her his mother as she took him in after he ran away from home as a child.

Uma thanks her.
Bharat tells Karuna that he's getting married.
She becomes excited and asks who the bride is.
Bharat introduces Aditi to her.
Aniket says they are very happy to have Aditi as she would make a good wife to Bharat.
Karuna says she's happy in that case.

Gauri goes to a temple to pray that she finds Shivam and that he changes his ways.
Amar brings Uma to the same temple and drives away.
Gauri faints as she walks past Uma.
A crowd gathers around her and Uma sprinkles some water on her face then shetells the crowd to disperse.

She asks Gauri where she's from.
Gauri says she came from a village to look for her husband.
Uma asks if she has a place to stay.
Gauri says no.
Uma invites her to stay with them.
Amar sees Divya looking dizzy.
She says it's probably because they went to bed late last night and she's tired.

He offers to take her to the hospital but she declines.
Bharat is in the room holding a saree he bought for Aditi and thinking about giving it to her.
Karuna enters the room and takes it from him, thanking him for buying it for her.
Bharat is unable to tell her otherwise.
Aditi enters the room and turns around to leave but Karuna calls her back to give her the saree from Bharat.

She tells Bharat she was only joking and she knew it was for Aditi.
She tells Aditi that she shouldn't be spending time in Bharat's room and they shouldn't see each other so much before the wedding, in accordance with their customs.
Divya comes downstairs.
Chandra tells her that she shouldn't walk so fast.

Karuna tells them that walking around is good for the mother and child.
Aditi walks in.
Divya tells her to look at the jewelry designs so she can make a choice on the one she wants for the wedding.

Aditi chooses a design.
Karuna says she likes the design.
Divya says there are also sarees.
She tries to lift the shopping bags.
Amar calls on the phone to say his sixth sense told him that Divya was about to do something wrong.
Chandra takes the phone and tells Amar that Divya was about to lift a heavy bag and she ran down the stairs.

Divya takes the phone back and drops it on the table.
Uma returns home with Gauri.
She tells Aditi to show her to a room.
Divya tells Uma that she was the same girl she and Amar saved.
Karuna says it's not safe to just let a stranger in without knowing anything about her.
Uma says she came to look for her husband from the village and her name is Gauri.

Divya wonders if it can be the same Gauri.
Amar calls back.
Divya tells him that Uma brought someone to take care of her, her name is Gauri and she is also the same girl they saved last night.
Amar panics.
Gauri is in a room.
She tells the women of the family that her husband left her to come to the city to work but she can't live without him.

Divya gives her some of her sarees and tells her not to worry as she's safe in a house.
Gauri recognises her as the woman from last night and apologises for running off.
Amar returns home.
He sees Divya and she tells him that Gauri is resting.
He asks if Divya knows where she came from.
Uma calls Divya away before she can answer.

Amar tells himself it might be some other girl.
He gets to the door of her room Gauri is staying in.
As he's about to go in, someone taps him on the shoulder.
