'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 65 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 29 August 2017

Shivam's father apologises to Amar for missing the bus.
He suggests that Amar takes his own car.

Divya and the family are preparing for the ceremony of breaking the fast.
Divya sees Bharat and says he seems to be looking for someone but he's too shy to ask.
She tells him to turn around.
He turns and sees Aditi.

Shivam's brother returns at night with his father's car.
Amar says goodbye to the family.
He tells Shivam's mother, Janke, that he knows she might not be able to ever forgive him but he will keep praying for the soul of her son.
Sonu holds him and begs him not to leave because Gauri will become sicker than she is.
Mohini warns Sonu to stop talking.

Divya calls Amar on the phone and he tells her that he will be with her soon.
Gauri comes outside and asks him where he's going when she has been fasting for him the entire day.

Amar tells Divya that he will call her back.

Gauri faints.
Everyone rushes to her.
Janke gives her water to drink then she gives the cup to Amar.
Gauri opens her eyes and thinks it was Amar who gave her the water.
She tells him that he has broken her fast which makes it a success.

Chandra asks Divya when Amar will be coming back.
Divya says Amar is on his way.
Aniket says he hopes the girl doesn't delay him further.
Divya says she trusts him.

The doctor comes to see Gauri.
Shivam's father tells her that she didn't behave well as she fasted despite his warnings.
She asks for Shivam.
The doctor sedates her and she falls asleep.

Divya gets a call from Amar.
She tells him she's very hungry and might die of hunger if he doesn't come soon.
Amar has tears in his eyes.
He tells her that he is still in the village because Gauri fainted again and he can't leave her in such a condition.
Divya is also crying.
She tells him not to worry.
He asks how he will break her fast.
She says she can hear his voice.
She goes to the window and looks at the moon through her sieve then she looks at his photo.
She tells him it's time to also break his fast as she knows he hasn't eaten.

Gauri wakes up and decides to look for Amar.

Amar enters his room and sees the food Gauri kept for him.
He tells Divya that he got her some saree and ornaments.
She tells him to break the fast.
He picks up his glass of water and tells her to drink water at the same time.
They both drink their water and they start eating at the same time.

Bharat tells Aditi that he's still waiting for her answer.
She tells him that they haven't told his family.
He says he needs her answer before telling them.
She says he knows she loves him.
He tells her to forget about her past as it won't come back.
He says he wants to know her feelings before breaking the fast.
She looks and sees Karan.
They are both shocked.

Karan goes straight to Divya.

Shivam's father apologises to Amar again.
Amar says he spoke to his wife Divya and she wants him to stay.
Shivam's father is shocked.
He tells Amar that he can still leave.
His wife tells Amar that it's too late to leave and he can go in the morning.
Amar is happy that she's speaking to him.

Divya is shocked to see Karan who happens her long lost brother.
She has tears in her eyes as she asks how he found her.
He says he saw her at the jewelry store some days back and followed her car.

Divya introduces him to members of the family.
Karan is shocked to see Bharat but even more shocked to see Aditi.

Divya tells Aditi to break her fast.
Aditi is shaking as she raises her sieve to look at Bharat.
She also sees Karan through it.
Bharat serves her water to break the fast.
Karan walks over to them and pretends to be meeting Bharat for the first time.
He offers his hand for a handshake but Bharat ignores it.
Karan takes Bharat's hand and shakes it.

Gauri goes into the room to look at a sleeping Amar.
She sees the gifts he bought for Divya and thinks he got them for her.

Divya walks with Karan through the house and she tells him how she came for a visit to India but ended up marrying Amar whom she met when she took a wrong train to Benares.
She tells him that she's so happy that he's there.
She introduces him to Uma, Mahua and Aniket.
She tells him that he left her all alone after their parents died.
He begs her to forgive him.
She says she's so happy to see him.
She tells him that he came at the perfect time because Bharat and Aditi will be getting married in a few days, though they are already married but the family wasn't a part of it that's why they have decided to get them remarried.

Amar is dreaming in the middle of the night.
He sees Divya enter the room.
He walks up to her but he is shocked to see it's Gauri.

Aditi and Bharat are in their room.
Aditi is freaking out over Karan's presence in the house.
Bharat tries to calm her down.
He says the only thing Karan would do is to tell the truth to the family.
He suggests they go and tell the family themselves.

They get to the door and see Karan.
He tells them that he has changed and didn't come to cause any trouble but to see his sister Divya as she's the only person he has in the world.
He tells Aditi that he knows he doesn't deserve her and Bharat will make a better partner for her that's why he hasn't told the family the truth.
Bharat asks what his plan is.
Karan says the day he tried to kill Aditi was the day he realised there was evil inside him and he changed that same day.
He prays for their happiness and tells them not to tell Divya anything and not to tell her that they are not actually married so as not to break the hearts or the family members.
Bharat regards him with suspicion.
