'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 64 Recap - Aired: Monday 28 August 2017

Gauri and her friends are gathered together to eat their last meal before the fast begins.
She waits for her friend, Jaya who is yet to arrive.

Jaya is on her way to meet Gauri.
She calls some of her friends to go with her to meet Gauri.
The friends tell her the truth about Amar not being Shivam.

Shivam's family come to meet Gauri where she has set up the meal.
She tells them that she prepared everything already.

Jaya and her friends arrive.

Shivam's father tells Gauri that she can't fast for Shivam.

Bharat decides it's time to tell Aditi how he feels.
He enters the room and meets her packing her clothes into a suitcase.
She tells him she's leaving as they have been living a lie and it's hard; she knows he doesn't want to hurt his family so she has decided this is the best way.
She tells him not to worry about her because all she wants is his happiness as he was the first person to treat her with respect and she won't forget him.
She gives him back the nuptial necklace he got for her.
Bharat is too hurt and stunned to speak.

As Aditi walks to the door, he finally finds his voice and begs her not to leave him as he can't live without her.
She runs to him and they hug each other tightly with tears streaming down their faces.

Gauri asks for a reason why she can't fast.
Shivam's father tells her that she is not feeling very as she passed out some days ago.
The doctor is with them and he confirms that she is not in a condition to fast.
Gauri insists her husband is around so she has to fast.
Shivam's father raises his voice at her and tells her that she won't fast.
Gauri runs away.

Divya has set up for the meal before the fast and she's waiting for Aditi.
She decides to go and look for her.

Bharat tells Aditi to promise not to think of leaving him again.
She wipes his tears and makes the promise.
He tells her that he never thought he could fall in love but he realised that he fell in love with her the first day he met and had to stop himself from loving her but not anymore.
He gets on his knee and offers her back the wedding necklace asking if she would marry him.
She collects the necklace and Divya opens the door.
She begs Bharat to excuse them as she takes Aditi away.

Chandra takes her meal to a corner of the house where Rajiv's photo is hanging.
She prays for his safety wherever he is.

Shivam's father begs Amar to forgive him because he couldn't tell Gauri the truth.
Amar encourages him to tell her the truth as soon as possible.
Shivam's father complains that Gauri has locked herself in a room and doesn't want to talk to him because he didn't allow her to fast and he dreads telling her the truth.
Amar asks if he can tell her himself as it might be easier.

Divya and Aditi along with some friends are ready to eat their meal.
Divya wants to go and get water but Aditi says she would get it.

As Aditi walks past Bharat, he holds her hand and they stare at one another for a long time.
Divya clears her throat and they finally break apart.

Amar enters Gauri's room.
She refuses to look at him.
He tells her the family members are worried about her.
She smiles and tells him not to tell anyone that's she's secretly fasting for him.
He tries to speak but she says she doesn't want to hear it.
She puts his hand on top of her head and begs him to swear on her life that he won't tell anyone otherwise she would kill herself.
He has no choice but to agree.
She tells him it has been a lifelong dream to fast for him.
Amar remembers his phone call with Divya about the fast.
He stares at Gauri in confusion.
She thinks he's admiring her.
She reminds him that the wedding will be a week after the fast.
He begs her to forget about the fast.
She says she loves him enough to die for him and if he asks her for anything, she would do it but he shouldn't ask her to break the fast.
She leaves the room.

Amar gets a call from Divya.
She asks how things are going.
He says he couldn't tell Gauri the truth but her father said he could leave tomorrow.

Mohini's son, Sonu, overhears him on the phone.

In the morning, Amar has packed his bags and is ready to leave.
Shivam's family follow him outside.
They see Jaya.
Shivam's father asks when Gauri would be coming home.
Jaya says she will return at any moment.
Shivam's father tells Amar to leave immediately.

Amar gets to the car and all the tyres are flat.
He asks where he can get a mechanic.
He is told that they are very far away but he can take a bus going to Delhi in the afternoon.

Sonu is watching them from a hidden corner.
He tells himself that he was the one who punctured the tyres.
He's not happy that Amar will take the bus.

Bharat returns home from work to meet Aditi getting her henna designs done.
Divya asks what he thinks of the design.
Chandra asks why they are both shy.
Bharat says he asked Aditi a question and it's left for her to answer him.

Gauri is cooking and Jaya sees her.
She begs Jaya to help her taste the food.
Jaya asks why she can't taste it herself.
She tells her she shouldn't be fasting.
Gauri asks why.
Sonu tells her that Amar is leaving.
Gauri burns her hand with the hot spoon.
Jaya tells her not to get worked up because Sonu is only joking.

Sonu decides not to tell Gauri the truth so she doesn't get sick.

Amar calls Sonu to ask where the bus park is.
Sonu looks at Amar's watch.

Gauri enters the room.
She gets dizzy.
Amar asks if she's okay.
She tells herself that she can't let him know she's about to faint because he will want her to break her fast.

She leaves the room.
Sonu also runs out of the room.

Aditi enters the room and begins to tidy it up but she tries not to use her hands so she doesn't smear her henna design.
She struggles to adjust her saree.
Bharat sees her and helps her pull it up.
As he's about to pin it in place, he sees a scar on her back.
He tells her that he knows there are memories that haunt her but she should wait and watch how he fills her life with happiness.
She hugs him.

Amar realises the time in his watch hasn't changed since it was 1 PM.
Sonu tells him he heard the school bell ring and he knows it's 2 PM.

Amar panics and picks up his things to rush to the bus park as his bus is supposed to leave at 2 PM.
When he gets there, the bus is already leaving.
He tries to stop it but it's too late.
He asks Sonu when the next bus is leaving.
Sonu says it's tomorrow.
