'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 23 Recap - Aired: Friday 30 June 2017

A nurse injects Uma with a sedative.
She turns and sees Amar.
He tells her that he wants to see Uma.

He sits by her bedside and tells her that he's Amar and he's going back home.
Uma calls him Sagar and begs him not to go.

He tries to talk to her but the drugs take effect and she sleeps off.
The nurse tells him to leave.

Sindoora confronts Rajiv and asks if Amar is his son.
Rajiv says Amar just looks like Sagar to him.
She tells him he's not Sagar and Divya is not Vidya so he needs to focus on Samrat's wedding that's happening in 3 days.

Rajiv thinks to himself that he will have to make sure Divya doesn't marry Samrat.

Samrat accuses Kamna of liking Amar even as she's married to him.
Kamna cries and tells him she doesn't have anything to do with Amar.
He says she will have to prove it by doing something that will make everyone not trust Amar.

Divya is at the temple.
A storm starts and it blows a note from the temple right to her feet.
She opens it to read and it's the note Amar left when he was praying to find her.
He says he didn't marry Bindya because he has always loved Divya and he brought the bangles for her.
She cries tears of joy and runs home.

When she gets home, Sindoora stops her to ask why she's so excited.
Divya says she has to speak to Amar.
Sindoora asks why.
Divya says Sindoora might not like what she wants to say.
Sindoora tells her to feel free to say anything to her.
Sindoora sees Chandra and gives her a signal.

Chandra goes to Samrat.
Samrat drags a reluctant Kamna and tells her to go to Amar's room.

Amar is packing up his stuff.
He sees Kamna crying and asks her what's wrong.
She sits on the bed and begs him to forgive her.

Divya has told Sindora everything.
Sindoora tells Divya she's glad she talked to her and she will explain to Samrat that they can no longer get married.
She takes her by the hand to Amar's room and they see Amar asking Kamna what is wrong.
Kamna cries louder and Amar says he has been asking her to tell him what the problem is.
Samrat enters the room and asks Kamna what is wrong.
Divya tells him to ask her nicer.
Samrat says he hopes Amar didn't misbehave with her.
Kamna nods and leaves the room.
Amar is shocked.
Samrat attacks him.
Divya is confused.

Rajiv and Divya pull Samrat off Amar but he charges at him again and drags him out of the house.
Amar begs Divya to believe him
Samrat shuts the door in his face.

Amar walks along the road in a daze.
A car almost knocks him down.
It turns out that his friend is the driver.

Mahua begs Divya to say something.
Divya is mute.
Sindoora enters the room and tells Mahua to call Samrat.
She tells Divya that Amar didn't turn out to be what she expected and she needs to move forward.
She asks if she will marry Samrat.
Divya remains silent.
Sindoora practically forces her to say yes.

Sindoora informs the family that the wedding is tomorrow.
Rajiv says he thought it was in 3 days.
Sindoora says tomorrow is also a good day.
She tells everyone to prepare as they don't have a lot of time.
When they all leave, she tells Samrat to take Kamna away from the house tonight.

Kamna asks Samrat if he's really getting married tomorrow.
He tells her she did a good job of getting Amar away from the house.
He puts her in a cab and tells her to go to Shimla and he will join her soon.
He doesn't allow her protest.

Rajiv sees and hears everything.
He tells himself that he won't allow Divya get married to Kamna.
He turns and sees Sindoora.
She tells him that she is thinking of finding Amar and breaking his bones.
Rajiv looks scared.

Amar tells his friend that he's going back tomorrow.
The friend asks if he won't fight for his love.
Amar says Divya didn't say anything when he was being dragged out.
He says he wants to prove his innocence before going back to Benares.

Rajiv sees Sindoora on the phone so he sneaks into Divya's room.
He begs her for Amar's number.
Divya remains mute with a faraway look in her eyes.

Sindoora senses Rajiv is up to something.

Rajiv picks up Divya's phone but he doesn't see Amar's number in it.
He begs Divya to give him the number.

Sindoora is fast approaching.

Divya calls out the number from her memory.

Sindoora enters the room and Rajiv hides behind the door.

He sneaks out and Sindoora asks Divya if anyone was in her room.
Divya remains silent.

Rajiv goes into the garden to call Amar.
He tells him that he knows Kamna lied because someone told her to and he wants Amar to look for Kamna in Shimla.
Amar asks if Kamna will tell him the truth.
Rajiv says Kamna is a nice girl and he should get her to come with him so they can stop the wedding.
He says she will be at the Singh farmhouse and he can ask anyone in Shimla to take him there.

Amar tells his friend that he has to go to Shimla urgently.

In the morning, Mahua asks Rajiv why he's not dressed.
Rajiv says Divya is not in the best frame of mind to get married after what happened.
Mahua says Divya agreed to get married.
She tells him to get ready as it's their son's wedding.
Rajiv prays for God to protect Amar.

Amar and his friend are in Shimla.
They get to the house and look for Kamna.
Amar finds her in the garden, crying.

Divya is still sitting in the clothes from the day before, staring into space.
Hema and Mahua beg her to eat but she ignores them.
Sindoora enters the room and tells them to get her dressed.
Mahua asks if she thinks Divya should get married in such a state.
Sindoora tells her to leave all of that and just get Divha ready.
She tells Hema to leave the room.

Kamna is shocked to see Amar.
He asks her why she lied against him.
She says she didn't lie.
He says she did even after he saved her from thugs and took her like his sister.
Kamna is crying.
He says he's ashamed of her.
She says she can't tell him the truth.

Mahua has dressed Divya up in her wedding dress.
Divya sits like a statue.

Amar tells Kamna that today is Samrat and Divya' wedding.
Kamna says Samrat lied to her again.
He asks what she means.
She tells him everything.
Amar assures her that everything will be fine but they need to go back before the wedding.

Harish asks Samrat if he has seen Kamna.
Samrat lies that he hasn't.

Sindoora comes to see if Divya is ready.
Seeing Divya in her wedding dress reminds Sindoora of the day Vidya and Sagar got married.
