'The Vow' Season 2 Episode 24 Recap - Aired: Monday 3 July 2017

Divya and Samrat sit in front of the priest.
Divya sits like a statue, showing no emotions.

Sindoora tells the priest to begin the ceremony.

Rajiv is anxious for Amar to return with Kamna.

The priest tells them to exchange garlands.
Divya is unresponsive.
Chandra takes her garland and helps her put it on Samrat's neck.

Divya is thinking of Amar.
She starts hyperventilating and saying no but nobody hears her.

Amar enters with Kamna and tells them to stop.
He tells Divya that before she decides to get married, she should listen to what Kamna has to say.
Kamna tells Divya that she told a lie about Amar because Samrat told her to lie and Divya cannot get married to Samrat because she (Kamna) and Samrat already got married and she's pregnant with his child.

Hema faints.

Divya is shocked.

Samrat tells Divya not to believe Kamna.
Kamna tells Divya that Samrat said he was only marrying Divya because he wanted to get her property.
She calls him a cheat who sent her away just so he could marry Divya.
Samrat says Kamna is only saying what Amar told her to.
He tells Kamna to leave and never show her face in the house again.
He tells the priest to start the rituals.
Divya hits his hand off when he tries to touch her.
She warns him not to dare speak to Kamna like that because she knows Kamna would not lie like that and she's a good person.
She tells him that she's ashamed to have called someone like him her friend.
She shocks him by saying the wedding is off.
He tries to plead with her but Sindoora gives him a slap.
She tells him she's ashamed to call him the son of the family.
She tells Kamna that she's proud of her for telling the truth and she thanks Amar for bringing Kamna so she could tell the truth.
She announces that Kamna will become the daughter-in-law of the family.

Harish wakes Hema up to give her the good news about Kamna and Samrat.
Sindoora tries to join Samrat and Kamna's hands but Kamna pulls away and says she cannot be married to such a horrible man and would rather remain single.

Hema faints again.

Divya hugs Kamna.

Amar turns to leave.
Divya stops him to ask if he will be able to forgive her.
Amar says he just wanted to prove his innocence.
He says goodbye and walks towards the door.

Divya stops him and gets on her knees begging him not to leave her and go.
He begs her to get up.
She says she knows he has always wanted to tell her something and she's been acting ignorant but today she wants to tell him that she loves him with her body and soul.
Amar is shocked.

Rajiv smiles.

Divya stretches her hand to Amar and begs him to take her with him.
Amar has tears in his eyes as he reaches out to take the hand.

Samrat pulls Divya's hand away and asks if she thinks he would allow her to just go with Amar.
He says she must get married to him.
He takes her forcefully to the priest.
Amar goes after him and gives him a punch that sends him to the ground.

Divya begs Amar to stop.
Amar takes Divya and they head for the door.
Rajiv stops Samrat from going after them.

Samrat sends his thugs after Amar.
Amar overpowers them and is about to punch Samrat but Mahua stops him and raises her hand to him.
Rajiv begs her to stop.

Divya tells Amar to take her back to Benares.
As they walk to the door, Sindoora thinks to herself that she will not be able to keep an eye on them and they can get married then come after her so she decides not to let them leave.
She calls Amar and asks where they are going.
He says they are going to his home since he got what he came for.
She says this is actually his real home.

Everyone is shocked.

She tells him that the secret has been hidden for many years that he is really Rajiv and Mahua's son, not Samrat.
Amar asks what she's saying.
She tells him that he's the only heir to the family.
Mahua tells Sindoora that Samrat is her son and not Amar.
Sindoora tells her to ask Rajiv.
She says he knows the truth that's why he has not been able to show proper fatherly affection to Amar.
She asks Rajiv to deny that he swapped Amar for Samrat the day they were born.
Mahua asks Rajiv why he lied to her.
Sindoora says maybe Rajiv swapped the babies because he thought the child wasn't his.
Rajiv says he swapped the babies but not for that reason.
Mahua asks why.
Rajiv remembers what the priest told Sindoora about the child being the cause of her death.
Sindoora tells him to think about what he wants to say very carefully because the outcome might not be what he expects.
Rajiv remembers Sindoora's threats about breaking Amar's bones.

Sindoora tells Mahua to welcome her son.
Amar says it's not true, he's just an ordinary guide from a small town.
Sindoora asks if his father ever told him he was born in Delhi and not Benares at Ghandi Memorial hospital on the 21st of October, same day Samrat was born and at the same time in the same ward, ward 5.
She gives him a phone to call his parents and verify.

Amar calls and his father answers.
He asks if he was born in Delhi or Benares.
His father says it was Delhi, at Ghandi Memorial hospital.
Amar's mother takes the phone and asks if Divya is fine.
Amar asks if she remembers when he was born.
She tells him he was born in Ward 5 at 5 minutes past midnight.

Sindoora tells Amar that's he's the real heir of Singh industries and everything belongs to him.
She tells Mahua to welcome her son.
Mahua hugs him crying.

Samrat walks out and Sindoora smiles to herself, knowing he's up to something.

Rajiv is happy as he watches Mahua telling Amar that he will remain in the house.

Samrat comes with a gun and asks if they think he would watch Amar take everything from him.
Sindoora silently urges him to shoot.

Rajiv tells Samrat that he is still their son.
Samrat says he now understands why Rajiv never considered him a son.
Rajiv tells him to think of Mahua who treated him like a mother would.
Mahua begs Samrat to believe he would always be her son.
Samrat says he believes in her love but she has to choose just one son.

Samrat points the gun at Amar.
Divya stands in front of Amar and tells Samrat to shoot her first.
She reminds him that he was her best friend and a good person.
Sindoora is watching intently and willing Samrat to shoot.

Samrat falters.
Sindoora tells herself that she would have to find a way to get Samrat to pull the trigger.

She stands in front to him and holds the gun.
She says she won't let the real son of the family get away again.
She turns around and holds the gun facing Amar with her finger on a Samrat's finger that's on the trigger.
She continues to wind him up by saying Amar is the heir of the family and everything belongs to him.

The gun goes off and hits Divya in the stomach.
Sindoora tells herself that once again Divya has stood in front of Amar when he was about to get shot.
