'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2078 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 11 July 2017

Salewa is at home trying to work on her project.
Maami asks her if she's okay.
Salewa says her supervisor is giving her a tough time.
Maami asks what he wants.
Salewa says she doesn't know.
Maami tells her to be very submissive and tell him to take her as his child and cry to him.
Salewa laughs.
Maami says if that's what it takes for her to graduate, she should do it.
Salewa thanks her.

Brenda and Charles are in the Phoenix Prime conference room.
Brenda asks Charles if he sorted things out with Mimi.
He says there is nothing to sort out as Mimi said she would keep things professional.

Victoria joins them.

Mimi arrives for the meeting and greets everyone.

Brenda asks if they can start the meeting.
Mimi says they have to wait for Serena.

Serena walks in and greets everyone.
She asks Brenda what fragrance she's wearing.
Brenda looks unsure as she says she just picked something off the shelf.
She asks why.
Serena says she smells nice.

Ene calls Shoshanna to ask if she wants to join her in her catering business.
Sho asks what she would be doing.
Ene says from word of mouth advertising to taking orders and delivery.
Sho asks how much the salary is.
Ene says it will just be a 30 percent commission.
Sho says commission like insurance brokers that are always broke.
Ene says she will make 30 percent, so she won't be broke.
Sho says she wants 40 percent.
Ene says okay.
Sho say it's not something she really wants to do so she will pass.
Ene asks why she made her go through the wahala of talking.

Amaka and Nero are in a restaurant.
She gives him tips on work then asks what's new.
He asks her what's going on with her.
She tells him that Dikibo wants her to take his last name and wants to adopt Tochi.
He says he can understand why there is tension.
She thanks him and says she doesn't understand why Dikibo can't understand that it's like abandoning her life before she met him
He says some men think their love translates to her child as his own and chivalry means a lot to men like Dikibo.
Amaka asks if he would think the same if she was married to him.
He tells her to leave what could have been and focus on what is.
He asks if she would take Dikibo's last name.

St John tells Sheila to go out and have fun more often.
She tells him to also try it.

She tells him that Amaka pulled a stunt on their day out.
He asks what happened.
She says Amaka is not happy with the Nero situation; she made a catty comment and made her look bad.
St. John says it shouldn't bother her; she was only married to the man who adopted Amaka.
Sheila says Nero said the same thing.
St. John says she has been a rock to the family; Amaka has moved on and Sheila needs to do the same thing and he a rock for herself.

Victoria finishes pitching the storyline for the show Alexis will feature in.
Brenda says she likes it.
Serena tells them to hold on.
She screws up her face like she's about to say something unpleasant and she says 'A girl visits a magical land in her dreams and becomes queen after going through challenges.'
She asks if that's the story.
Brenda says it is.
Serena says she just feels like it's far fetched.
Charles says it is and they are not trying to sell it off as reality.
Serena says she wants Alexis in something meaningful.
Mimi says the meeting is not for her to have a say but to just buy into what her daughter is working on.
Serena says she's not buying it and if she will be watching...
Charles says it's not for her demographic but for children.
Serena laughs and asks how she could have forgotten it was for children.
Charles tells Victoria to continue.

Victoria hands out costume designs.
Serena asks if Alexis won't die of heat.
Everyone makes a face like they are over her.
Serena laughs and says it was a joke.

Shoshanna is back with Salewa and Helen.
They ask why she turned Ene's offer down when she keeps complaining that she has no money to buy her makeup kit.

Brenda says she's glad they are all on the same page and everyone is happy with everything.
Serena says yes, everyone is happy.

The meeting ends and they clear out of the room.

Serena asks if she can speak to Charles.

Brenda stops Serena and says she doesn't buy her friendly smiles as she knows Serena hates her
Serena says she has let bygone be bygones.
Brenda asks how Maro is doing.
Serena says she's abroad.
Brenda says she's happy for her.
Serena says Brenda didn't buy her niceness now Brenda wants her to buy hers.

Nero is at Sheila's.
He asks if Amaka said those things.
Sheila says she did.
Nero says Amaka should be the last person to say such.
Sheila says Amaka can says them as she's not a black widow.
Nero says Amaka' husband died.
Sheila says he did.
Nero says Tochi's father also died and he hates to bring Tsav into it but Sheila can get his point.
He says he's not trying to compare their histories but Amaka was petty and they both have their past histories.
Sheila says it's not easy to just shrug it off.
He asks if what Amaka said invalidates what she feels for him.

Nnenna comes to Phoenix Prime.
She tells the receptionist to add a little more sass to the way she answers calls.
The receptionist says her boss is not complaining.
Nnenna says she won't complain till she fires her; she used to work for her boss so she knows.

Charles and Victoria come out of the office.
He says he can't tell her company trade secrets.
She says they are sister companies now.
He says they are not and if she wanted to know the secrets, she should have come to work for them instead.
She goes back into the office.

Nnenna asks Charles how the meeting was.
He says they finished a while back and he and Victoria got talking but the meeting went well.
Nnenna tells the receptionist to call her if she needs more tips on being the top receptionist.
The receptionist makes a face.

Freddie comes home with Ivie.
He tells Sheila that he's thinking of building a University search guide.
Sheila says that will be after his studies.
Freddie says it won't affect his studies
Nero tells Sheila to just allow him to do it and he is promising to make Freddie give her regular progress report on his studies.
Sheila gives in.

Shoshanna comes to see Ene at home.
Ene says she doesn't want her makeup done.
Sho says she has decided to take the job.
Ene asks if she thinks the business is a joke.
Sho says she will take 30 percent and she will do a good job.
Ene says she can start today but she has to work really hard and they will stick to the agreed 40 percent.
Shoshanna hugs her.

Serena is at home reading Alexis' script.
IK calls to ask if the meeting went well.
Serena says it did.
Ik says he's glad.

Amaka gets home and Dikibo asks where she has been.
He says he had to call Sheila.
Amaka asks why he's calling all around for her as she's a grown woman.
He says he was worried.
She says she's a grown woman responsible for her life and her son's and he can't expect all that to change overnight.
Dikibo is shocked.
Amaka says she will sleep in the guest room tonight.
He says she will not.
She asks if he will call his search party to come and drag her to his room.
He says it's their room.
She tells him goodnight and walks away.
