'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2076 Recap - Aired: Friday 7 July 2017

Telema is at Ziggy's having a meeting with the CEO of Kemi Lashes.
Telema asks if they can get another actor for the photo shoot, like Tomi Ajayi.
Kemi says no.
Telema begs her to think about it.
Kemi says they cancelled the deal with Tomi to give to Telema and she now wants to complicate things.
Telema says maybe Tomi can bring something extra to the shoot.
Kemi says if she will bring something extra then they don't need Telema.
Telema says they can plan the theme of the shoot around women who forgive each other.
That piques Kemi's interest.

Charles is having a meeting with Nnenna in his office.
Mimi walks in.
She tells Charles that they need to talk.
She gives Nnenna a disdainful look as she sits.

Charles gives her an update on the project.
She asks if Alexis has started memorising her lines.
He says he was going to find out.
She tells him to call.

He calls and Serena ignores it.

Mimi says it might need more than a phone call.
He says he will pay them a visit.
He leaves and she follows.

Nnenna is amused.

Bimpe comes to the office.
Damini asks why she's late.
She says she made a stop over at the voice-over studio.
He tells her to leave the Tomi Ajayi issue.
She says she spoke to Tomi's colleagues at the voice-over studio and none of them knows about her fake sickness.
He tells her to just drop it.

Telema calls Bimpe to tell her about the deal she got for Tomi with Kemi Lashes.
Bimpe asks if she's out of her mind.
Bimpe is so upset that she hangs up.

Sheila, la!de and Joanne are at the spa, having cocktails.

Amaka joins them and apologises for being late.
She is served her drink and they all move into the treatment room.

Tochi's teacher comes to the house to look for Amaka.
Dikibo meets with her.
She tells him that Tochi's mother needs to sign a form for Tochi's extra lessons.
Dikibo says he can sign.
She says grandparents are not allowed to sign.
He says he's Tochi's mother's husband.
She apologises but says he still can't sign except he's Tochi's legal guardian or biological father.

Sankey comes to see Brenda at work.
She says Brenda only remembers her when she has problems.
Brenda says Mimi is her problem.
Sankey asks what Mimi's offence is.
Brenda says Mimi now thinks she's a hot shot because she works with Invest Africana.
She complains about Serena too.
Sankey suggests she apologises to Serena and Zane.
Brenda says she tried and Zane wouldn't even listen to her.
Sankey says the Brenda she knows wouldn't allow this to stop her from achieving her goal.

Telema is at Bash's office
He tells her she's taking things too far; first, she forced him to give Tomi a supporting role and now she is giving Tomi the endorsement deal.
Telema asks what he would have her do.
He tells her to go with her guts but he knows the industry and one needs for focus.
Telema says Tomi is fighting for her life.
He says he hopes Telema doesn't regret it all.

The women are having lunch at Ziggy’s.
Amaka says she loved the spa treatment and would be back.
Joanne tells her to come with Dikibo as they have packages for couples.
la!de says she would like it too but it's a shame she has no one to show her fresh face to.
Joanne tells her to just name her spec.
la!de says with her age and a child, it's not easy to find someone.
Joanne says she is having the time of her life.
Sheila says it's a little different.
Joanne tells her to look at Amaka who is in love and glowing.
Amaka says Sheila doesn't seem to have any trouble attracting men.
She says how many ex-husbands? Then Reuben and now Nero.
She asks how she does it.
A very awkward silence settles across the table.
Joanne tries to diffuse the tension by saying she can't wait for the waiter to come back so she can ogle him.

Charles comes to see Serena at home.
He asks if she has gone through the script.
She says no.
He says they need to get serious and they can't ruin things over a petty feud.
She say he has no idea.
He says they are doing what's best for Alexis.
She says he's right.

Brenda comes to see Zane in his office.
He says he has spoken to Serena and she agreed to let things run smoothly.
She asks if they are still moving to their own place.
He says by the weekend.
Brenda says she did what she did for fear of losing him; she's sorry she put Alexis and Serena in harm's way and for lying about it, she should have known better and should have been higher than her fear.
The tears flow freely.

Nero is having a meeting with Odyssey staff.
He says he wants them to keep their cinema audience; he knows they are aware of Angela's mental health challenges and wants them to focus on that area and humanise people with such challenges.
Charles says the creative team will work on it.
Nero tells them not to ignore the perspective of someone with mental health challenges.

Kemi Lashes holds a press conference to introduce their brand ambassadors, Tomi and Telema.
Kemi says the two screen divas have shown that they can overcome their differences and they have taught them all a lesson in forgiveness.

Zane tells Brenda that the problem is not that she lied to him; she put his daughter's life in danger and it's the absolute worst thing she could have done and he can't see himself forgiving her.
Brenda's tears flow freely.
Zane says he doesn't know how she could be so self-centred.
She stops crying and asks how he can say that after all that he put her and her son through.
He says it's not the same thing.
She says she even looked past what he is.
He corrects her and says it was what he was.
She says she looked past all that and forgave him.
Her voice gets stronger and she says if he's not able to forgive her then they clearly don't belong together.
She says this is the last time as she is done.
She walks out.

Amaka returns home.
Dikibo asks how it went.
She says it was fun.
He tells her that Tochi would not be able to attend the after-school programme as they didn't allow him sign the form.
She says she will call the school and let them know he can always sign for Tochi.
Dikibo says he was thinking they could make it more permanent; he would like to adopt Tochi and would like for Amaka to take his last name.
Amaka doesn't look thrilled at the idea.
