'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2075 Recap - Aired: Thursday 6 July 2017

Salewa and friends come to see Telema at home.
Helen says they saw her interview.
Salewa says she likes the fact that Telema was kind to Tomi.
Shoshanna says Tomi is a silly girl.
Helen says Tomi made Telema look bad.
Salewa says people online want to know if Telema will share her money with Tomi since she stole her gigs.




Brenda is having a meeting with IK.
She complains about Serena.
He tells her to take it up with Mimi.


Bimpe calls Telema to ask if she has seen the hashtag.
Telema affirms.
Bimpe says she hopes Telema realises Tomi deliberately set her up.
Telema doesn't really think so.
Bimpe tells her to find out what doctor diagnosed Tomi's condition.
Telema thanks her with sarcasm and says she is not as dumb as she looks.


la!de is with Sheila.
Sheila pours her a drink.
la!de says Freddie is behaving himself.
Sheila agrees.

la!de asks about their girls' day out.
Sheila says they have decided to have it at the spa and Amaka is in.
la!de says they just have to come up with a suitable time for all of them.


Telema calls Tomi.
Tomi says she was with her doctor.
Telema says she spoke with Bash and begged him to give her the supporting role in the show.
Tomi says Bash would never agree.
Telema says he agreed.
Tomi thanks her.
Telema suggests they meet at Ziggy’s and celebrate.
Tomi makes a face then says alcohol won't go well with her drugs.
Telema asks how long she has had the sickness.
Tomi, obviously lying, says she has had it for a while and she will need 5 million for the surgery.
Telema says at least she has a job now.


Charles gets a call from Mimi.
She asks if there is still a problem with Alexis because she hears her mother is having cold feet.
Charles says the issue will be resolved soon.
She says that sounds rather vague.
He says he is handling it.
She tells him to let her know when it is fully handled.


Amaka returns home.
She sits alone in the living room.
She becomes restless and phones Nero.
He asks how things are with her.
She says she's great.
He says he just had a meeting with the staff of Odyssey and some of them seemed worried.
She says as long as it keeps them on their toes.

She offers to give him some pointers as she worked with Odyssey before.
He says that would be great.
She asks him to meet her her at Garden Restaurant.

Dikibo appears behind her and asks who she is meeting up.


Bimpe and Damini are at Ziggy’s.
They hear a group of women laughing.
Bimpe turns to look and she sees Tomi with a group of friends drinking and laughing.
She is appalled.
She tells Damini that Tomi claimed she was dying but she's having alcohol.

Damini tells her to just ignore Tomi and focus on their date.


Amaka tells Dikibo that she's going to meet someone she's advising.
He reminds her that they have a dinner date.
She says she already cancelled this meeting a lot of times before their honeymoon.

He apologises to her for what he did earlier with Tochi.
She says they can talk about their expectations when she gets back.


Brenda is in her office.
She gives Mimi a call.
Mimi asks why she called IK when she was supposed to run things by her.
Brenda says she can't help how Mimi's boss feels about her abilities or a lack thereof.
Mimi tells her to stick to the line of communication.
Brenda says she will have her staff liase with Mimi going forward.
Mimi says it's fair enough.
Brenda tells her to have a good evening then.


Charles calls Serena to ask if she got the script he sent.
She says she did.
He tells her to go through it and Alexis needs to start memorising her lines.
She says it's okay.


Dikibo has his lawyer come over.
He says he wants to write a new will to reflect his new circumstances as he has a wife and child to think of now.


Kayode and Telema come to Ziggy’s.
Kayode asks Telema when they will start shooting.
She says after they make adjustments on the script as she told Bash to give Tomi a role.
He says that's good of her.
She says she felt bad after Tomi's career got affected and she just wants to help.
He tells her to be careful of Tomi.


Mimi enters Brenda's office.
Brenda asks if they didn't finish all they had to say on the phone.
Mimi says she had to come.
She says she knows she used to work for Brenda and she respects her a lot.
Brenda says she's feels a 'But' coming.
Mimi says but she has a job to do and she intends to do it to the best of her ability regardless of their history.
Brenda says she wouldn't expect anything less.
Mimi says she wanted them to be clear on that.
Brenda says she should have saved herself the journey.
Mimi says that's the condescending attitude she's talking about.
Brenda says she needs to get home.
She starts to leave.
Mimi says Brenda really should be trying to get on her good side instead of being antagonistic and undermining all the time.

Brenda says her business is with Invest Africana and Mimi just works there.
She heads for the door.
Mimi says Brenda's future with Invest Africana depends on this project and she(Mimi) has a say on all of that so Brenda needs to think about how she wants it to play out, petty or professional.
That gets Brenda to stop.
Mimi walks out.


Nero and Amaka are at the garden restaurant.
She gives him some pointers.
They keep it professional.
He thanks her and asks how he can return the favour.
She says she will think about it.
