'Tinsel' Season 10 Episode 2074 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 5 July 2017

On the set of 'Bitter Kola Truth', Maami asks Tomi how she feels about the issue between her and Telema.
Tomi says she's happy that it's over as she wasn't at peace when they had their beef; she's the breadwinner of her family and her family got affected by it all.
Maami says it's a good thing they have settled their differences.
Tomi says her doctor told her that she will have to undergo surgery.

Serena calls Zane to tell him what Charles did behind her back.
She says this wasn't her plan as she wanted to keep Alexis far away from Brenda.
He asks how that's working out for her.
She asks if he won't do something.
He reminds her that he had told her he wasn't going to get involved.

Telema comes to see Bash at his office.
He asks how she is.
She responds in Yoruba.
He says her Yoruba has improved but she still talks like a robot.
Telema asks if it's possible to have 2 female leads in the story instead of one.
Bash laughs and says it's not possible.

Charles enters his office to see Nero sitting at his desk.
Nero says he was just feeling nostalgic and had the urge to see things from Angela’s perspective so he thought sitting there would help.
Charles sits and says he was going to redecorate the office but so many things remind him of Angela and he couldn't bring himself to.
Nero says he wants to let him know he will stay back in the country and oversee the company.
Charles says it's fantastic.
He asks if he will work from the office.
Nero says not at all; it will be an advisory role and maybe from time to time, he could take up one or two projects.
Charles welcomes him home with a handshake.

Telema tells Bash that it won't be too big of a change.
Bash says it's impossible.
Telema begs him.
Bash says it's not child's play to edit a script.
Telema says she wants Tomi to also play a lead.
Bash asks if she will want Tomi to take the lead role.
Telema says no.
Bash says he can give Tomi the lead role but he will split Telema's salary in two.
Telema begs him to at least give Tomi the supporting role.
Bash finally gives in and says it's because of Telema.

Sheila walks into her living room to meet her father.
She asks if he has seen Freddie.
St. John says Freddie has gone to a private University open day.
Sheila says she's glad that Freddie has a friend like Ivie.
St. John says Sheila should be the one taking all the credit.

At Phoenix Prime, Zane asks Victoria why he hasn't been given any information on the project Alexis is on.
She says the agreement is that Odyssey should be the one giving him information because they deal with Odyssey who will deal with Alexis.
He asks what will happen if Alexis can no longer be a part of it.
She says there will be drastic consequences for everyone.

Damini and Bimpe are at work.
Damini is searching for a file.
Bimpe tells him she gave it to the temp.
He asks why she's redistributing his work.
She says she just wants the temp to be useful.
He asks if she's sure that's all she's doing.
She keeps a straight face and says yes.

Charles brings Nero to the conference room to meet the HODs.
He tells them who Nero is and says he will be joining them.
Nero addresses them and says he will be counting on their support and the same level of trust they gave Angela as he comes on board to chip in his little quota to ensure Angela’s dreams for the company is fulfilled.
He assures them that there will be no restructuring.
They welcome him.

Zane calls Serena and complains that she has backed Alexis into a corner and they are now caught between both companies.
Serena says she was only trying to protect Alexis.
He asks if she was even thinking.
She says they need to calm down and fix it.
He tells her to fix it and not ruin their daughter's future while at it.

Brenda is having a meeting with her staff.
Serena walks in and says they need to talk
The staff leave.

Serena says she knows she and Brenda can never see eye to eye but she knows they have something in common.
Brenda asks what.
Serena says they both do not want Alexis on the project so she's begging her to replace Alexis because she doesn't think this is the right time for her now; maybe later in the future.

Joanne is with Sheila at the spa.
She asks how Nero is doing.
Sheila says he went to Odyssey.
Joanne asks about Amaka.
Sheila says she is excited about their day out.
Joanne says it's about time Amaka let her hair down.
Sheila laughs then she says the day out will give them an opportunity to try out some of the products they are going to be using at the spa.
Joanne asks about her love affair, seeing as she's excited these days
Sheila says she will take it as a compliment on Nero's behalf.
Joanne says she can do that but she should just let Amaka know he's her man.

Brenda apologises to Serena for sending Chief to her.
She says she had no idea he was a dangerous man and the thought that he could have harmed her and Alexis still gnaws at her.
Serena tells her to get back to the matter at hand.
Brenda says the contract has already been signed.
Serena tells her to still try.
Brenda says it will be pointless, besides the contact is with Odyssey and not her.
Serena tells her not to be patronising and to help if she wants to help; they don't need her lame excuses and empty apologies.
She storms out.

Nero comes to see Sheila at work.
He tells her that he spoke with Amaka and he reminded her that she's married.
Amaka agreed she's married and he's not beholden to her.
Sheila says she invited her to the day out.
He says if Amaka still had any feelings for him, she wouldn't be open to being just friends with him henceforth.
Sheila asks if he trusts Amaka.
Nero says he does and he no longer wants them to be looking over their shoulders.
