[A Departmental Store]
El Crow’s Brabus kissed the park and immediately outshone the other cars there. He came out looking hyper.
Courtesy of the good news he received this morning.
The Carehouse called that Eden finally woke up and she’s even talking and eating already.
So he came here to get what he promised her.
The last time he visited her at the nursery, she mentioned she loved his necklace and she wanted one.
So he had contacted this store to make it in her size.
He bounced inside the store, literally.
His phone made a beep, and he pulled it out.
It’s Boring Prude.
He swiped green.
“Hubby! I’m just waking up, and I just know I did something terrible last night cos I was drunk! I’m so sorry whatever I did. I heard you went out to get me hangover soup!”
El Crow paused.
Yeah. He had left the house to go get her hangover soup—part of him playing a filial husband.
But on his way to get it, he got the call from the Carehouse and he had to switch routes to this store.
“I’ll be back soon,” he told her.
“I’ll be waiting!” She rushed.
He hung up and strolled to the first desk with two male staffs.
Merely seeing him, they knew what he came here for.
They revealed the necklaces in the glasses, and it was packaged into the rectangular boxes for him.
Payment has already been made, so he took the package.
“Aren’t you the ApexPlus?” The one of the staffs suddenly said.
El Crow paused, and his eyes slowly rolled up to meet him.
“He’s the one! The ApexPlus!” The second staff gasped.
El Crow’s hand nearly slipped away from the package foil.
“You look like you’re hiding well, but seems your hiding days will soon be over!” The first said with laughter.
“I’m telling you!” The second joined the derisive laughter.
El Crow picked the vacuum cleaner stick at the corner and broke it in two, then he shoved the sharp ends into the staffs chests at the same time.
Their hot blood stained his face as their bodies went limp on the desk.
El Crow rushed out of the store, flipping his car door open and jumping inside, grabbing the steering tight and driving straight out.
His father would never rat him out. And it can’t be Marisa or Satan. Those two would use a louder means to eat him out, not through some departmental store staff.
There’s only one person remaining in his darkening mind as he drove.
He didn’t even have to sniff her scent.
He still had her scent in his nose.
He visualized her in a public tennis court, and he drove there.
Skylar sat at the bleachers, alone.
She came here for time alone after she left the boring ice cream outing with her so-called parents.
El Crow marched furiously to her, not seeing anything but darkness till he jumped in front of her.
She looked up, smirking immediately she saw his face.
“Cocaineboy?”
“There are so many news you could tell your boysluts but definitely not my blood type news!” He said.
“Excuse you?” She stood.
“When did you fûck the Departmental Store staffs? Enough to tell them about my blood?” He spat.
“What are you even saying??!” She yelled at his face.
His hand grabbed her shoulders savagely till he nearly broke it in two.
“Let go!!” She yelled, breaking free. “Why would I tell anyone your blood type when I need you for myself!?”
“Maybe they fucked you so good you control your thoughts you spilled it before you could hold it!” He yelled. “You get high on it, sometimes…”
Skylar’s palm itched and unfolded immediately, flying to his face.
The slap she delivered was loud.
Stinging. Red.
Her eyes reddened too.
“You fucking bastard!!!” She shrieked. “You think I chase sexual pleasure because I’m a whore? No. I chase it because I see it as the only thing that’d probably bring me peace! A life without family or friendship or birth pleasure was so bland I had to look for pleasure in any way. I chose sexual cos it’s my body anyways..
“And it’s sexual in a moderate way cos I’m still a damn virgin you motherfucker! You’re the only person I’ve ever allowed to touch my body or go down on me, and you’re the only person I’ve ever sucked! You think you’re all that? No! You’re just one of my other boysluts. The only difference is the knot and bloodline between us you fuckhead!”
She was red in the ears and eyes and chin as she talked.
“I didn’t tell your secret to anyone. Search deeper, ass!”
She threw his necklace at his face immediately.
“I took that from your righteous wife. Now you can go back to her and stop shoving your face around!”
She pushed past him and walked out of the tennis court.
El Crow was still moveless. But he heard the sound of her bike driving off. He shut his eyes.
His cheek still stung hard. His mouth felt sour and tasteless at a time.
He went back to his car and drove back to where it all started…
The Departmental Store.
He rushed back inside, and to his dismay, the two male staffs are there, happily attending to customers.
No vacuum cleaner stick stuck in their chests. No blood. No bodies.
“El Crow?” They chorused. “Your necklaces are ready…”
“Necklaces?” His eyes shadowed. “I didn’t come here to take it already?”
“No sir.” They smiled and pulled out the new necklaces.
El Crow swallowed.
“I haven’t come here once today?”
“No sir.” They responded.
He staggered back, then rushed out of the store, head howling.
He was never once here today.
He didn’t take the necklaces.
No one recognized him as ApexPlus.
He didn’t kill the staffs.
It was all in his head.
An illusion—formed by the stupid unwanted power inside him.
He got in his car with a totally disarrayed head and slightly trembling body.
His phone was the first thing he took.
He dialled Skylar.
But the call dropped flat.
Blocked.
She already blocked him.
“Fûckkk…” He bit his lip hard and deep till blood covered his chin, sliding down his throat in a very thin line.
“Skylaar….. please…”
