[Redd Estate – Dora’s Room]
Dora sat on the thin edge of her window, staring at the bright estate lights with a long stick of cigar in her mouth.
She puffs, pours the smokes, and puffs again without even touching the cigar. She’s too tired to guide it.
On her second hand, sat her phone where she’s staring at the balls picture of Saint.
Her problem isn’t the shit going on in the city cos of people demanding for the close-down of her Kiss Fashion Clan. Her problem is Saint.
And Bexley.
She saved Saint. Took hitmen to thrash the Rednecks and shit, but the a+shole shoved it in her face and acted ungrateful.
Not like she’s angry at him with it.
She’d never get mad at her muse, but Bexley? Growing the mind to even touch Saint? It’s hightime she acted.
She finally touched the cigar, lowering it from her lips.
She dialled her hitmen.
“Bexley Hart? Make her capture day tommorow night. She should be going for her spa night. Get her, and bring her to the industrial ghetto.” She instructed, leaning back.

At the top penthouse, it’s calmer than expected.
Genevieve and Marley are by the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, wearing their red sleep-robe.
They clinked their wine glasses before drinking up as their minds replayed what happened earlier at Valhalla Club.
[Earlier, Valhalla Club Grounds]
“Her backbone is Wrath,” Leader sighed, calmness deepening. “Seraphina’s backbone, is Wrath.”
“The fûck?” Genevieve gasped.
“You’re telling me Tobias St. Graves got to Seraphina?” Marley raised his brows slightly.
“I want to believe he’s only just f+kin her, but he called me and threatened me with my son for her. He cellotaped my son and planted a bullet in him, cos of her.” Leader explained, pouring himself some scotch to calm down.
“Wasn’t your son supposed to be hidden?” Genevieve stated.
“He knew him,” Leader lifted the glass to his mouth.
“And now what?” Marley heaved. “I share your sadness about your son, but I have my sadness to nurse too. My family is being targeted by that cursed thing, and I can’t just watch. She should have been the one we killed back then. It should have been her, not the other one.” He sighed.
“I can’t believe I once carried her in my womb.” Genevieve gritted.
“Tommorow, arrange another press-con, and apologize to the public about what happened to her crotchets.” Leader said.
“What!” The couple echoed.
“Yes,” Leader stood to them. “Apologize and keep posing as good people for the public. Shut down Dora’s Fashion too, but it’ll only be for few hours, cos tommorow, something else will happen and seize the attention of the public.”
“And what’s going to happen?” Genevieve asked.
“Don’t ask questions, just so as you’re told. The public attention will shift for your family to dominate again. Also, let go of the land documents in the hands of that cursed girl for now.” Leader instructed again.
“You know that’s not possible!” Marley snarled. “I need that land! You know how much profit I’ll make from that place if I draw a Luxury Apartment on it? Zillions! I might become the world’s first zillionaire!”
“The land is a weakness she wants to hold over you, and you’re going to let it go like I said! You’re still alive, and more money is still coming your way. Listen to me and let it go and let my plan move forward!” Leader spat.
Marley looked away, huffing.
“Wrath is a gamer, and if you keep letting things go his way without giving way for minor loses like this, then you’re going to regret. Listen to me and play this smart!” Leader continued, sounding enraged.
“Great,” Genevieve stepped in. “So what’s going to happen exactly?”
“Keep the fact that Wrath is Seraphina’s backbone away from Dean for now. We can’t give him that rage now. When he needs it, we’ll give him the information, and that’ll be after he becomes a part of us.” Leader sat back, calm.
“Dean St. Graves is becoming one of the Billionaires of Valhalla?” Marley scoffed, breathing out.
“His initiation letter is all ready for sending tommorow night.” Leader drank the remaining scotch in the base of his cup.
“Now,” he faced the many Serpents around. “Prepare for tommorow’s bomb. Make it loud.”
He rose again, facing Grilled teeth and Dyed hair.
“Prepare the car. We’re going to see my son at the hospital.”
He left the room, and Genevieve exchanged glances with Marley.
[Present Time]
“You’re really going to apologize to the public tommorow?” Genevieve faced Marley with uncertainty.
“Anything to gain public trust back,” he shrugged. “It’s a mere fake apology drama. You know I excel at fakery.”
Genevieve laughed, clinking glasses with him again.
“I can’t wait for what Leader is planning tommorow. But I feel bad about Dean joining us.”
“No big deal. The real question should be is he ready for the seven sins? Especially the kill.” Marley grinned, adjusting his glasses.
“Mum, Dad!” Kimmy barged into the penthouse.
“Kimmy, I can’t handle you right now….I’m too stressed.” Genevieve faced her, gaze slanted.
“Dora has been in her room since she returned, and you both didn’t even go to check on her? What if she’s trying to drown herself in the tub again?” Kimmy took Genevieve’s wine.
She drank from it.
“Dora wouldn’t try to drown herself now that she’s got an obsession to get busy with. Also, Dora’s issue will be solved before 24hrs. Be calm.” Marley assured with a chuckle.
“Seriously?” Kimmy blinked.

[The Avenue]
Mr. Price’s body has been taken out of the pool, and it’s now on the stretcher that’s taking it out of the house. Kelly couldn’t even look at it.
She sat on a chair beside the pool, crying while Dean did his best to pacify her. It ain’t working.
“Not a single camera captured him, Dean. The cameras didn’t capture him doing shit, but he did it, cos he called me when he was here! He targeted the moment when my dad’s caregiver went to the grocery store and came in to off him!!” She cried loudly, face red from too much grievance and sorrow.
“I told you not to file a case, Kelly. Uncle Will told you too. He’s an heartless animalistic bastard, you know that! The evidence is on my back and your scalp.” Dean said.
“Is that why your line was off?” Kelly stood, skin hot with grief. She pulled up her sleeves. “Look at my plastered shoulder! I almost lost this shoulder! He shot me, Dean!”
“And in Hollow University when he slashed both of us, what happened?” Dean scoffed. “There was no evidence he did it! The cutlass is still nowhere to be found till now, and his brilliant lawyer won in court as usual! So far he has that witchy lawyer and his cult, you better stay off him and let me handle him.” Dean stated clear.
Kelly broke down again, going on a crouch as she cried.
“You know how much I love my father….you know how much he strived to take care of me after my mother left him. You know….Dean….Dean it hurts….”
She cried like a child, and Dean had to crouch with her, pulling her teary face to his chest.
“I’m right here, always here. I’ll be your dad and fiance altogether. I won’t ever leave.” He stroked her.
As the stretcher containing Mr. Price’s body was wheeled out, Kelly’s tears accompanied it.
